Excellent! Who was the drummer on this song? I am not a Beatles fan so I don't know if it was Ringo. I saw this video in my feed and played it for my Beatles fan (wife). I'm glad I did because I never thought about the drum parts in this song, though I've heard it a million times (I'm old, yes). How much better could it get? Dire Straits covers!! [downloading]👍👍

In the 60's and 70's we had no internet and I would have to learn songs by ear. I kept playing and practicing in bands to keep it fresh in my mind and fortunately I had a knack for remembering songs. "All Things Must Pass" was far and away the best 'first post-Beatles' album by any of the four, and this song was one of the best on that album. So it's truly a pleasure to see this fine cover by our favorite young drum phenom. This performance is every bit as crisp and clean as the original by... Ringo? Ginger? Alan White? Not sure, maybe two or three of them.
As the lyric goes, "It's our love that you need," and you can be sure Sina's got it!
Edit: Okay, Wikipedia says that Jim Gordon played the drums on the original track. It was basically the "Delaney and Bonnie and Friends" band.

The best song on "All Things Must Pass", and the best post-Beatles song, was "My Sweet Lord". And best live performance of a George song was Sam Browns version of "Horse to Water" at Concert for George. End of discussion.
Anyway, I just watched this in 1080p, instead of the usual 480p that I usually stick to. It really is awesome - everything just sparkles and glitters!
Anyway 2, this video should be used as the basis for a "good hair day" follow up to the incorrectly named "bad hair day" video.

You're touching to a sacrosanct classic masterpiece for me here. As much as I dreaded watching you try Firth of Firth, it is with more apprehension that I decided to watch you try a Harrison's all-time classic and render Jim Gordon's sober and immaculate beat and groove. You hit me in the core, not only you eerily look like my daughter and has her age, but you play my kind of music as if you were living that generation and its music!
There is something uncanny about how you vibrate with this music and not only perform it like a parrot, and this is something that I notice in my daughter as well, to whom I transmitted all my passion of music as well as your dad probably did.
You and my daughter and similar precious artists and persons are the true hope for a world who is otherwise heading towards its own demise!
Only Ethics through arts and music could save this ill planet, and what is Life without Love, and what is Love without Ethics?

The increasing string section throughout the song is excellent. Try and pick out only the string section the next time you listen and hear it weave around the melody more and more towards the end. That is great! So happy! So nice to hear real drums played organically and with joy by a real human being. I hope real drums come back in fashion in contemporary music.

Sina, your talent and passion are a joy to behold. I’m so impressed with your wide and varied repertoire. It’s a testament to your pure love for all musical genres. George Harrison was my favourite Beatle and post-Beatles solo artist. Your impeccable performance of his classic song was a thrill to watch and hear!

You have touched my heart with this one, one of my all time favorites! Jim Gordon's feel was so big, so free, and really driving and complementary to the song, you did a great job with it! I like the way you close your eyes and become part of the song, very reminiscent of the way Simon Phillips does that. I'll be checking out the rest of your channel now...

Because your dad Mike played George's role in the Beatles Tribute band, I find it no coincidence that you prefer covering his songs! Congrats on passing your exam, have fun this weekend, and thank you for the smiles in this song. :>))
