As a drummer in Rock and Roll bands and in American country music bands in what you would call pubs "back in the day". I just have to say this. Since when cymbals where made out of brass and snares and tom toms etc....... where created. You sina are the greatest that plays these modern drums as a mucical instrument.
This session by Sina has so many wonderful elements that it just thrills me: A perfect choice of artist, during his best era, of an iconic tune, in a legendary performance, using traditional grip, in a period costume, and played barefoot! Incredible, simply incredible.

Sina's Dad did this masterful edit.. Drums are tuned perfect and the mix couldn't be better!.. I smile every time I see this young lady perform.. A lot going on too.. Her right foot is kicking while the high hat is accenting off beat to the kick drum in perfect syncopation.. Keeping time as Elvis speeds up and slows down.. Cross cymbal whipping with great hand and wrist speed.. Just wow.. Not easy to do, but she is playing about 15 years since being a little girl.. Elvis 70's Drummer is Ronnie Tutt, and it doesn't get much better than that man.. She has the skills, chops, and a natural feel here.. She didn't miss a lick.. She’s even better performing than the King himself. Sina is the Queen of drummers. So nice to see when young people goes beyond the actual stars themselves. Can’t wait for the next talented generation to emerge and rise to stardom.
What a great drummer. This is fantastic. It is the first time that I see how a drummer enjoy what a performance suppose to be. 100% concentrated. This is talent.
I've watched many--all?--of her videos, and in almost every one I know of, she smiles briefly, especially after a difficult section or right at the end, but this is the first time I can recall where she cracks a full smile ... several times! Thank you, Mike, for letting us see!
Watching this amazing video again 7 months later. They don't make complex rhythms like that these days. I don't know what genre label Polk Salad Annie gets other than timeless Elvis classic. Watching her, you can see Sina's frowning, straining even. It becomes super fast and I have no idea how she figured out what to hit when. But I think she's loving it and, of course, getting it perfect!
I live less than 90 miles from Graceland. This was absolutely phenomenal! It was as if this were a live concert and you were actually there on stage with him! I could easily tell you were into this song because of your graceful expressions. Your eloquence in playing the drums made the song so enjoyable! I'm a southern boy and you can believe what I'm telling you!. After this performance, I know Elvis is saying to you, "Thank you! Thank you very much!"
Oh my, you always surprise us, and here you break many barriers and drum your way to the stars. You play at the top and that’s where you are and where should be, too. You enchant listeners with your playing. You are sharp, exact, steady and alive when you play. You really are a shining star. Wonderful video, too. Amazing and magic production!
I’ve been watching and praising her talent and growth since day 1 of her channel. I can’t admire her talent and covers enough. With this cover I see something g that’s a little different. The difference now is her personal confidence and ‘advance’ into a young woman that allows herself to express her personal joy while drumming. Smiling why she drumming is AWESOME. I even observed Ringo Star as she leans back and breathers in and starts attacking the drums. Sorry for the jabbering and yammering Sina. As always an excellent Cover. And keep smiling young lady. It radiates joy and command and confidence and control
Just amazing !! I gotta say this is now my favorite video!!!! You blend so perfectly well with the live recorded band!!! And what a band!!!!!! Excellent and inspiring drumming!!!
I am a lifelong Elvis fan. This was the first time I wasn`t able to be fixed on him and him alone but was watching Sina like a hawk and just now and then, in critical moments, peaking over to Elvis... I`m not a musician but this is just dope. If Elvis was still alive he would be over the moon. Watching Sina beating the drums, I was having goosebumps all over, accompanied by a big smile on my face. The prediction that the divine feminine is awakening and on her way, seems to be true. But no one told us that she would come riding in on a speed train... God help us all :)))
It's great to see the traditionals haven't been put away by the younger generation, barefoot and the grip! You are a phenomenon in your drumming skills Sina, EP would have loved having you preform with him, watching and listening to you do all your amazing covers makes this older gents heart smile when the day gets a bit rough, THANK YOU so very much for sharing your skill and talent.
Timeless performance. I delight in the thought that decades into the future, people will newly discover Sina, even as some are now just discovering Elvis.
I think this is the most into a cover I've ever seen you be, Sina. (I've seen hundreds) It is all over your face, which is not that common for you. NO question he was the King. Fantastic job.. Thank you!!!
Agreed, I've always sensed a lot of passion in her playing and when she describes her craft or that of other drummers, but it is great to see it in her face, as Carlos Santana recommends.
Dave, you said what I was trying to figure out how to say. Watch Elvis in the clips, Sina matches him for the passion and joy of the performance. She Tore. It. Up.
Sina's drumming is mesmerizing, as at a live concert you feel the involvement of the performance, it's amazing! This rarely happens when performing covers. The musician must have a subtle feel for the music in order to produce such an effect on the viewer. Bravo Sina, that was great!😍🙏🙌
WOW !!! WHAT A GREAT LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL !!! SHE WAS BORN TO DO THAT SONG I HERD ALL MY LIFE GROWING UP BEING A TOTAL ELVIS FAN SHE BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE !!!! SHE TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS.
Just saw this for the first time last night and have played it many times since. Wow! An amazing performance!! It's like you have transported yourself to that stage in 1970 and are there with Elvis. The look on your face is a mixture of joy and intense concentration. The rhythm of the music takes you over. You're smiling because you know you're nailing it, and you're having fun doing it. I've watched some of your other videos, which are all excellent. But you and Elvis gave me chills. I am forever a fan.
The King would have enjoyed that very very much Sina. You followed right alone with the king and never lost track of what was going on. Important to follow the kings stage presence and perform as he wants you too. Always follow the kings lead when working with him. At 3:25 it got real serious. You nailed it. He would have been happy with your playing along. Well done Sina. Thanks for sharing the stage with the King....And that little smile at 3:57 is precious and priceless. :)
He sure would have, he was all about the show & she was Flat Out Awesome! I don't know how many times I've caught that little glimpse of a smile, I've told her how cute it is & that she should show her Joy more often! PEACE OUT!
Ist das großartig. Der König und die Königin in einem Video. Hiermit machst Du allen Musikfans eine große Freude. Wieder ein wunderbares Stück Musikgeschichte; das Du ausgesucht hast. Vielen Dank!
Firstly - she is consistently brilliant. Secondly, it gives us a good insight into what Ronnie Tutt was doing in the back ground in all those live shows that none of us could ever see.
Was my first thought.. We felt Ronnie, and watched Elvis.. Many don't realize how important his band was. No ego, just world class musician who served the King like no other.. Elvis knew this!
Most amazing Sina is how you were just so slightly ahead of the beat perfectly .. you were leading the band .. following Elvis as if it was truly live. Elvis would have you in his band for sure!
RIP Ron Tutt, Phenomenal on the stage, a great man off the stage. Humble, kind & no ego. When I was 13 I bought Elvis At Madison Square Garden, and I swore Elvis had two drummers on the stage with him. What Sina is able to do is just fabulous. You really can't see Ronnie on the stage here. However, you feel him..
RIP Ronnie.... I am so glad I saw him live on stage in the 90s in Vienna with the TCB band!! I talked to him and even have a picture standing next to him, God bless you Ronnie. A true legend has left let us. 😢
I just love watching Sina play. In this video, it's clear to me that she "goes somewhere" when she plays. The best part is she takes us with her! Thank you Sina for your excellent quality of musicianship!
I am just a few years younger than Elvis, so I grew up with his music. He was talented, no question. Very flashy, but also "relateable." In the South, they call it "poke", not 'polk.' And they also call it "poke salet" not polk salad. That's how they pronounce it. You have "regionalisms" in Germany, too. That's just how it is. . Great job on the skins, Sina, your hands were a blur and that's how we like it. Love and respect from San Francisco 26/11/2020. [257,000 dead]
And yet the record company labeled it “Polk Salad Anne” on Tony Joe White’s original. Maybe it was because his label Monument Records was based out of Washington D.C.? Just what I looked up....😉
Probably the record execs had never heard of poke salet. And I doubt if anyone outside the south would know what it was. The reference to a "truck patch" and a "tow sack" would likely baffle as well.
Dear Sina, your performance is iconic already. Applaus - tosend und nicht endend wollend...it' a great pleasure watching you play. Elvis is still smiling on his cloud...
D'...that was some soulful heavy good s~Sweating w Elvis! Roustabout here from the Elvis movie, lol. The King and Our Queen on drums~ The Sun just came out as I watched this again for the first time~Elvis lives on. Morning coffee w the King and keeping the beat alive w a nice Qween~
Oh Sina, this is just magnificent, you've just brought the King back to life, it's the King and Queen on stage together, you are phenomenal, my Queen of the drum.xx
Sina, I just can't get over how good you really are with those drums!!! I've watched this video so many times and every time I am more amazed at your progressive talent!!! You are good at all the instruments I've seen you play but you are a natural drummer without a doubt!!! There's a bonus to that and it's your natural beauty!!! Now I'm going to watch you and your band, the Gas, rock the Groove!!! Much love to you!!! 🎧🎛️🎼🎵🥁👀🌹❤️❣️
I must say I don't know who the young girl is playing the drums. However, she is INCREDIBLE!!! Little did she know at the time. She was Honoring Ronnie Tutt one of the BEST! If NOT THEE BEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIMES!!!!! Farewell and God Bless you! In heaven, Ronnie Tutt and Elvis Presley, and the rest of the TCB Band will play for the Lord God ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ again a 10 +++++ to the young Drummer that played with perfection.
When I saw this a few years ago...I instantly became a Sina fan! Better late than not at all right? I ❤❤❤ ALL the music you drum to. But being a Elvis fan...THIS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION!!!!😊
Wow, oh wow! From start to finish, this cover is absolutely magnificent. There are so many aspects, so many, I am having a hard time finding words to even adequately explain the depth and strength of talent shown in this cover. Sina, you rock. Amazing, you are simply amazing
It's brilliant. Clearly and visibly brilliant. The focus and the enjoyment whilst trying to emulate one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, Ronnie Tutt. She does it with ease.
What has impressed me the most, is that you have so much passion in your drumming. Your whole body is into this. Considering that this is one of my favorite songs, this has been an added bonus. You're gifted. Please remember to keep the gift, because you have touched the lives of people from this generation, and you're adding to your generation . Blessings.
Exactly David.. She gave me chills.. I heard a lot of good and even great drummers play with ETA's .. She is the first who went note for note with the great Ronnie Tutt..
Hace dos semanas no puedo dejar de verla. Siempre me pregunté como Ronnie hacía eso... creo que es el mejor homenaje a el que hace poco tiempo se unió a Elvis.
Ronnie said in an interview he had been a drummer for strip tease acts early in his career which was the perfect training for emphasizing Elvis Presley’s moves.
Interesting connection here as you are playing the drum riffs of Ronny Tutt, who was a child prodigy drummer in the Midwest of the USA. You did him and yourself proud on this performance. I was very fortunate to see Elvis live on 20 occasions and his drumming always stood out in the music. I am sure Ronny would love your story and how you have become an excellent musician at such a young age. Well done!!
Thanks for the gift this morning!! Dina, Elvis, barefoot, and traditional stick handling with left hand!!! You did rock this!!! I loved the cover! But, I enjoyed your backup was Elvis! Have a terrific Day! This video made mine!! You are tremendous!! Love your style and smoothness on the skins!!
FA-BU-LOUS. A masterful performance by two top artisits at the very peak of their powers. Elvis and Sina! I don't think I have ever seen you into a groove like that Sina. Only problem you have now.... how do you top that?
I never thought I'd see the day that someone would be just as good as Ronnie Tutt on this song...That day has come. The fact that it's Sina, that's a bonus.
This song, watching Elvis perform one of his most energetic songs, and Sina keeping up with the drumming is just wonderful to watch and listen to! One of my faves to see again and again! Thank you!
Über Elvis zu dir gestossen... ungeschminkt, authentnisch und einfach in der Musik drinnen ... egal ob elvis bis neue musik. Mach weiter so, bist ein super Mädl mit viel Pontenzial :)
Me too everyone on here, she's amazing! If I just close my eyes and listen I would swear it was Ronnie Tutt playing the drums for Elvis on this one instead of her, Sina sounds just like him!!!!!!!! Great video!!!!!! Very fun to watch!!!!!!! 🤗👍
Energetic dance moves , with such vitality , to the exhilarating rhythmic beat of the drums & clang of cymbals !!!!! 🎉❤😂⚽️🪀⛹🏼🏇🏼🚣🏽♂️🏆

Watch Sina her facial expressions , her eyes her energy that she delivers to this cover is equal to Elvis's She is truly amazing young Lady.
It' fills my heart with joy when I see young people discovering these great songs.
@@prinz10ga Your words say what I feel each time I watch her JOY ! SMILE !it is why I Love Life.
Just amazing !! I gotta say this is now my favorite video!!!! You blend so perfectly well with the live recorded band!!! And what a band!!!!!! Excellent and inspiring drumming!!!
All these yrs later and he still Rocks the world. The King of entertainment.
Just a great talent and he always had a big band so that all these years later we can appreciate his high quality music.
@@gdcarter01 Ronnie Tuitt is the greatest of all times
The Queen of drums playing to the King of Rock and Roll. Can't go wrong with that combination.
Sina should try other music instruments aswell. 😉
@@Edzhjus She plays many other instruments. She can play the piano, the guitar, and bass. Sina is extremely talented. She sings too. :)
@@jamj4u It runs in family. 🦋
She is good, but not good enough to be the queen of drums
@@chesterma6321 It was pretty accurate metaphor..and if someone else is King|Queen then link referance.
Have not watched many Elvis videos. Now, 50 years later I can see how much he gave to each performance.
With this song's downtime southern country feel I'm glad Sina chose to do this rock classic barefoot.😊🦵❤
I think this is the most into a cover I've ever seen you be, Sina. (I've seen hundreds) It is all over your face, which is not that common for you. NO question he was the King. Fantastic job.. Thank you!!!
Danke, danke vielmals !
She Tore. It. Up.
She just tried to make it look harder than it is, for herself of course lol..
I agree totally, awesome performance.
Ist sie Deutsche?
@@diebibelistwahr9853 ja ist sie
Wahrscheinlich…😜
I watched this cover so many times and I can't get over that! It's spectacular!!
Sure is
This is your Best! With Elvis, always, and barefoot! Keep it for Life!
Firstly - she is consistently brilliant. Secondly, it gives us a good insight into what Ronnie Tutt was doing in the back ground in all those live shows that none of us could ever see.
Bravo
Sina
Was my first thought.. We felt Ronnie, and watched Elvis.. Many don't realize how important his band was. No ego, just world class musician who served the King like no other.. Elvis knew this!
Exactly
One of Sinas best. I wonder if Ron saw it. RIP Ron
Sina would you do 'Mystery Train' cover. I once heard Priscilla say that Ronnie Tutt use to love performing this on stage with Elvis.
😊👍
I was wondering about the title as well, being from SW Virginia. :))
@@williamlink9430 : And mention "si gogglin" and they'd think you were talking about a guy named 'Cy' with a weird last name.
Every now and then I have to come back to watch this video and be amazed again.
Dear Sina, your performance is iconic already. Applaus - tosend und nicht endend wollend...it' a
great pleasure watching you play. Elvis is still smiling on his cloud...
D'...that was some soulful heavy good s~Sweating w Elvis! Roustabout here from the Elvis movie, lol. The King and Our Queen on drums~
The Sun just came out as I watched this again for the first time~Elvis lives on.
Of course Sina knew who Ronnie was . She is a fabulous artist, and would have studied his technique extensively.
@@graemedwyer6269 I agree with assessment. Brilliant! I'm a big fan. I’ve been watching her other music 🎶 performances ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I saw this a few years ago...I instantly became a Sina fan! Better late than not at all right? I ❤❤❤ ALL the music you drum to. But being a Elvis fan...THIS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION!!!!😊
Me too. Plus I heard she recommends my channel. This is my first time here and I subbed!👍
Congratulations. She is an excellent drummer.
I never realized the drumming was so intense on that song, Elvis/Sina it works! 👍😎
Ronnie Tutt was a beast.
What has impressed me the most, is that you have so much passion in your drumming. Your whole body is into this. Considering that this is one of my favorite songs, this has been an added bonus. You're gifted. Please remember to keep the gift, because you have touched the lives of people from this generation, and you're adding to your generation . Blessings.
This Young Lady is fantastic! I have watched this many times!😊
Are you blind and DEAF?
YOUR STUPID !
Everyone loves a bit of Elvis, a true icon. Great job Sina, you even got into the spirit by being barefoot 👍🏻❤️
It would be amazing if Elvis could be alive and see you play. He would be amazed at your talent!!!! I am speechless. Hugs from Brazil.
Oh My God - Playing with the King 52 years later - You're the Queen - OUTSTANDING!! - Ron Tutt is amazed - your brilliance transcends all music genres
Sina, with this cover, your fan base is about to grow exponentially! Your outstanding performance left me breathless.
Exactly David.. She gave me chills.. I heard a lot of good and even great drummers play with ETA's .. She is the first who went note for note with the great Ronnie Tutt..
Its that u learn fromRon Tut very creative
Your comments on this thing guys is right on, if I just close my eyes and listen I would swear it was him!!!!!!!!
Hace dos semanas no puedo dejar de verla. Siempre me pregunté como Ronnie hacía eso... creo que es el mejor homenaje a el que hace poco tiempo se unió a Elvis.
I love Ronnie Tutt’s drumming, seemingly to Elvis’s moves as much as driving the music. Sina nailed it!
Ronnie said in an interview he had been a drummer for strip tease acts early in his career which was the perfect training for emphasizing Elvis Presley’s moves.
That was great. Good playing on the drums. Dynamics were fantastic. ❤
Very good. I love Elvis music, so my friend sent this vid. Excellent drumming with the Legend himself. 🎧👍🥁🎶🇿🇦
I never thought I'd see the day that someone would be just as good as Ronnie Tutt on this song...That day has come. The fact that it's Sina, that's a bonus.
WOW!!! I just love this so much!
Thanks Emily, how nice :))
And i love you.!!! Wonderfull. Hai una tecnica favolosa. Io sono diplomato in elettric bass. E ti seguo da tanto. Baci!
This song, watching Elvis perform one of his most energetic songs, and Sina keeping up with the drumming is just wonderful to watch and listen to! One of my faves to see again and again! Thank you!
Totally agree with you and many here. But what about the 900+ down votes? That's even more boggling.
The queen jamming with the king. Love it!!!
Oh Sina Oh Sina, you never ran out of amazing drums to play. The King is surely rocking wherever he is in amazement.
I keep on watching this… So good, fabulous, and you are too good to be true…
I never got to a live performance of Elvis . And I'm old enoughf . Your bringing the joy back into rock n roll .
Sina and the King together... Never in my wildest dreams! But they say dreams do come true and Sina you're a dream come true!!!
I am 63 and in lockdown..this made me dance and move like a teenager..absolutely brilliant..thank you so much..o wow
Cool
Just wonderful, your amazing the king would be proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If only Elvis was alive today to hear you accomplily him on the drums Sina, I’m sure he would be proud.
But Ronnie Tutt is alive and he should be very proud of this performance?
This young woman is gifted, and it is so much fun watching her perform. I love playing the drums and am in awe of Sina's talent.
You don't think of Elvis being a hard rocker, but even Sina had to work hard on this one! The King really made her work!
I’ve been watching this video like 50 times, It is my favorite. She is the best
Know 65 times.
They are BOTH the best
