Styx And Stones Can Break Your Sticks - So Always Carry Spares :D "Come Sail Away", as performed by American prog-rock / arena-rock band Styx, was written by Dennis DeYoung - the band's main songwriter and vocalist. It's the fourth song on their seventh studio album 'The Grand Illusion' which was recorded at Paragon Recording Studion in Chicago in 1977. The album was released on July 7, 1977 and "Come Sail Away" was the first single released. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #89 on Sept 24, 1977 and peaked at #8 on Jan 28, 1978. 'The Grand Illusion' peaked at#6 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was a breakout hit for the band and eventually was certified trile platinum. Although Styx had a devoted fanbase, they were tired of being considered a second tier act, always opening for bands like Foghat, Rush, Aerosmith, etc. DeYoung used his frustration as inspiration for the lyrics. Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw and promo man Jim Cahill took a different approach to secure radio play. According to SongFacts- "This being the '70s, radio stations played a big role in promoting songs, and program directors could often be swayed with gifts of money and drugs. Payola, was of course, illegal, but that didn't stop Shaw and Cahill from traveling to many of the stations with bags of cocaine in an effort to get more airplay for this song. The tactic worked; Cahill explained on 'Styx Behind The Music' that program directors were like penguins, since they'd follow you around if you had "snow"" Some of the lyrics are a bit "out there". Some people believe the figure Ezekiel saw was not a messenger sent from God but an alien space craft or a time machine from the future." The movie 'Star Wars' was released a little over a month before "The Grand Illusion". It could just be the era. SINA - "Oh, I broke many sticks!! I never broke a drumhead or pedal, though. Once, a bass drum beater broke in the middle of a song, but I think that wasn't really my fault. And I think that will have to do for now! Back next week - same time, same channel! ;D

You make me miss my teenage years. I'm going to be 60 tomorrow and I had a great life. Thank you for your great music and what you do please don't stop you have a gift from God.
I’ve played music since high school (86’) and was thrilled when the first of my children asked to play music too. ESPECIALLY thrilled when he asked to teach him “my music”....Sam Cooke, Styx, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Ready For The World etc With him, and when I see young crushers like this young woman, it STILL brings welled up tears when they are, not out interested in... but playing my era music. Love to see these young up and comers sharing their talent. And, I try to support them ANY chance I can. Keep Rocking, SINA🤘🏾 Aloha!🤙🏾
Actually this is the part I always wanted to be able play on the piano/keyboard since my youth days (as well as "Don´t let it end" from the Killroy-Album and especially "Best of Times" (from the Cornerstone-Album) - but I never learned that instrument - unfortunately...
3:33 look at how she almost isn't holding the sticks at all. Her technique is fully developed and "headed for the sky". Her taste, her musicality, her precision, her dedication...what a WONDERFUL package!
The drumming in this song is, IMHO, one of the great aspects of the song and might be one of the best drum playing for any composition. I've listened and watched the video many times and I JUST LOVE watching Sina play.
Never realized how much drumming is in this song until I watched her going SICK on it !! U cannot get tired of watching her, it’s an addiction, my goodness!!!!!!!
Kid, you dont need my help to promote your channel. U have it going on. You are an excellent drummer! If people pass u bye, u dont need them.. keep rockin kid!
As a little boy I would listen to Styx with my Uncle Wasyl who left this world too soon. My eyes were flooded with memories listening to you play Sina. Bless your heart - you are so talented.
Hi Greg, just popping in to say thinking of you, your Dad and family. I’m really going through a lot w/the Hubby- very overwhelmed- and when I come here I gain some calm and peace... between Sina’s expert treatment of the songs of our youth and knowing you’re here too, with Jeff as well... I feel the support of prayers. Thank you Sir for supporting a stranger in this big world, feels a little smaller when I can carve out a few moments for myself on Sina’s channel🙏❤️🌴
@@nancyslider645 I feel the same Nancy. It's strange what brings us peace in our lives. Sina's channel and her magic of bringing back happy memories (thru the songs) and then getting to know both Sina and Mike on a somewhat personal level (as such that one can get thru email and sending Christmas Cards), this is such a friendly and family oriented channel like no other. As I've said, I've never commented on a RUclips channel before Sina's. And yes, I've made virtual friends with some folks here, you and Jeff being the closest. This is a special place. I'll keep the prayers coming Nancy. I can feel you are a good person. I know we'll chat again in a week at most, so hang in there!!
Always loved Styx - graduated from high school the year the band got together. "Lady" blew my mind when it came out, and I was hooked. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME job, Sina :) ! You continue to amaze...
Great job with a slow song starting out and fantastic finish . I grew up just west of Roseland where Most of the Band came from, they played High Schools all over Chicago area in the bands early days. . we saw them in a local fest one summer and thought these guys are great. Years later I used to see Dennis DeYoung at a restaurant in Orland park IL many times. When i was walking out I said saw you guys at DuPage county fair i think it was early 70's. He would say thanks for being a Fan. never disturbed him again but he remembered me, always said hello and thanks. he was always very nice to the fans
Caustic SodaPop And how about her muscle twitch? Have you seen anything like it before? As far as the song goes, I think she put a little Keith Moon improv into it. I remember hearing her say that she likes to do that with some songs.
Thumbs up from me, yet I might point out that I have virtually zero musical aptitude but had realized decades ago that there is MUCH going on with this song.
Such a treat! While I don't play out, I play classic paino by ear for fun. I have an audiographic memory (hear a song, recording, someone doing a stand up comedy act, and it plays back in my head exactly like it was recorded, when I want to play it back again, for years, with all details). I certainly still play this song a lot! As I watch and listen to Sina play, I am comparing it to the original in real time in my head. I absolutely loved it! The precision of every roll, cymbal hit, and timing is pretty much indecernible from the original - absolutely she's at the professional level... and I can see she's having fun. It doesn't get any better than this! Wow.
Watching you play fills me with joy. Joy of the songs from my past I remember so well. Joy of watching you do something you love doing. Joy that songs, while they may be generational, are enjoyed by someone who wasn't even born with they came out. Joy of watching your express your musical talent, and being able to close my eyes and relive the songs I grew up with. Very inspirational, very talented, very much appreciated from an old guy who grew up with these songs! Thank you Sina! I've only discovered your channel today by chance, and already listened to a lot of them. If I had to pick a favorite...I'd be hard-pressed to narrow it down....but Boston's Foreplay and Rush's Tom Sawyer....I can't tell you how many times I played the air-drums to those songs on my cassette player....hmmm...you've probably never seen one of those in real life! Kinda' puts how impressed I am with your talent in perspective. :) As corny as it sounds...keep rockin' on!
Her musical tastes match mine dead on. I love every one of her covers...not just her performance but the songs themselves....form Styx to Iron Maiden and beyond.
Sina Is So Good! When I served onboard the USS Sacramento 77-79 this was our break away song from UNREP. Sina reminds me of the day of the time sailing at sea. Fair Winds And Following Seas! You Go Girl!
Hi Sina, First of all I have to confess that most of the songs you cover that came from the early 70's through the 80's were songs that I only knew the melody and lyrics to but putting a name of the group or band that preformed them was always a mystery to me. It could have been the fact that at the time I had a little boy (born 1971) to bring up and one on the way (born 1974) so most of my attention to music anyway was just listening to the melody and lyrics never really paying any attention to who composed or wrote it or performed it. This routine went on until my 3rd and 4th child (another boy) (1976) and finally a Girl who was born in 1979. So now I'm entering the 80's and my interest in music returned to a more normal state (content and group or band) with a few exceptions. Enough about that! When they (OUR KIDS) finally attained ages where they didn't need our supervision quite so much the wife and I were able to and EAGER to go to more concerts and live performances of the popular bands at the time (late 80's into the 90's) I don't have any real problems remembering them. That bring us to You and the early rock bands that you cover (so well I might add)!!! I finally get the names of all those (BANDS & GROUPS) that inspired my love for Rock music and the circumstances that led them to write the music that they did!!! YOU, SWEETHEART YOU provided the who - the when - the why as to what led them to create the beautiful music that YOU and YOUR DAD and Collaborators along with countless other contributors recreate with such perfection and attention to detail!!! "STYX" was and will forever be just a very few of the bands from that era that I loved and bring back wonderful and lost memories that I truly treasure!! I will also treasure all the new memories I am creating while listening and watching your Covers, Collaborations and Originals!! You my dear have rescued an old man who was in a very seemingly unescapable abyss!! THANK YOU!!! YOUR MY HERO AS FAR AS MUSIC GOES!!!!
Sina, this is truly an Awesome Performance of John Panozzo's (RIP) unbelievable Drumming that he composed for this song, and you did it flawlessly!!! BRAVO 👏
A little choked up right now ... Styx are one of my all-time favorites and the late John Panozzo is quite underrated. Loved the groove in his drumming and his seemingly endless barrage of great drums fills - which you nailed Sina! Nicely done!
You Sina have shown many of us old timers what we should have been and you've practically have picked our classics and are becoming master of tempo. It is one of the most important role of the group (band members) to keep tempo and should be important to all musicians: which helps give a person more confidence. Just as some have said keep your heart true to the beat and to heck with partners, drugs, alcohol but make it if possible, to earn and get a solid education in your time off.
Styx and Doobie Bro’s. Are the heart Of my generation and yet you have discovered a way to re-kindle my love for their and your music! Another example of perfect playing with such ease and composure. Come Sail Away is fantastic!
Took me sailing back to my early childhood, sitting in my older brother's room listening to Styx, Steely Dan, Supertramp and others on vinyl. Good memories 👍
OMG!!! I have seen Styx in concert back int he day when Dennis was still with them. This is my favorite song by them. You are an incredible drummer! The fact is that it's obvious you love drumming, and this is a FUN song to drum to .. I was drumming to it myself watching you ... The Paradise Theater Tour was the greatest concert I've ever witnessed .. Thanks for the memories!
This song helped me "Sail Away" all the way back to my high school and early college days. Thank you so much for selecting and playing this song as I needed a "pick me up". Truly, it did! Your dad's awesome production capability and your absolute beautiful and graceful drumming week after week leaves me virtually awestruck - every time. This masterpiece is no exception! I look forward each Friday at 10:00 am to enjoying your masterful work! I want you to know your music, poise and professionalism inspires me to do the best at what I do because you always do the best you can do! It's appreciated! Keep the faith and stay safe.
Same same for myself Stanley....right back in the groove listening to this song....and truly admiring Sina's skill and talent....as was said in the book 1984...Double Good! :) Have a great weekend...cheers.
Stanley: you stated it perfectly then and your comment still applies today.... so so many next level performances in the past year! Sina let’s me Sail Away any and every time I need a pick me up. This is in my Top 5 list for sure👍Fan From Florida 🌴
I have no knowledge of how difficult it is to play the drums, however I’ve been watching Sina for a couple years now and drum covers and breaking down rhythms …educational ones …and it’s just so amazing! I have so much respect for drummers. Thank you Sina and God bless!
Your song choices are awesome, watching your videos takes me back to my childhood. There is a lot of good music today, but nothing like the late 70’s and all of the 80’s, this is by far when the best drumming was done, you are spot on, thanks for sharing! 👍😀
Love seeing such a young talented musician just getting into it..love when such young muscians keep this alive, thank you from the bottom of my old dude heart..
Sina, you are proving that females can be drummers AND make that point on their TALENT alone!!!! NO gimmicks, no skimpy clothing. TALENT!!!! YOU HAVE TALENT AND YOU LOVE MUSIC AND YOUR CRAFT!!!!!!! NEVER SELL OUT YOUR VALUES!!!! KEEP ON ROCKING!!!!!
I don't think anyone ever thought a woman could not be a drummer, many drummers on RUclips are women, extremely fast hands. I'm just glad to see there's a Young generation that enjoys the music of the '70s and '80s and creating their own sound very similar. Keep rocking
@@prestonlambert9191 I've not seen too many female drummers in my youth. Sina ROCKS!! And I encourage woman to become drummers if that's their goal!!! AND, I'm grateful younger people are exploring the music of my youth!!! There's plenty to pick from!!!
"... it's not that Moony in the original recording." :-) And that is why I love Sina's channel more than other drummers. I have seen the rest but this is the best. I have been using some of the 'lockdown' time to browse around and check out many other drumming RUclips channels. I have seen crazy Japanese kids; a very talented technical Indonesian; several American older guys and they all nail the technical aspects but none of them combine technical prowess with the 'feel' that Sina clearly has for the music she is playing, and to add a Who style outro to a classic Styx song - genius !
Steve King - you’re right this is delightful! And I say that as someone who never liked Rush in general and this song in particular. I was so over-played my senior year of high school ... Sina seems to be building a bridge between Keith Moon and Ginger Baker in terms of her style. Technically precise yet gloriously wild and emotional at the same time. I loved the outro!
Steady, remarkable, talent that continues to grow before our very eyes. Please don't question it...simply trust what ever is driving your choices. Thank you for sharing your process with us...The World!!!
What she did from 0:00 to 1:55....... Well, I could do that blindfolded with my hands tied behind my back! No, really, she is utterly amazing and incredibly talented. How could she possibly get even ONE dislike? Must be a lot of deaf and blind people watching videos on RUclips! I did put that minute 55 seconds to good use - I subscribed!! Her choice of covers is my kind of music! Her talent should be IMMENSELY rewarded!! Thank you, young lady!!
I'm convinced the downers on there thumb section, give a thumbs down to just get attention. I use to make a lot of comments for their stupidity, but then realized, they give a thumbs down to get to people. I pay no attention to them anymore... I feel sorry for them.
I just discovered your channel and regret I'd done so sooner. You are nothing short of amazing! Watching your videos isn't merely listening to music, or seeing you play, rather it's partaking of an experience. You command your instruments with awe inspiring authority, rendering them sublime, while you appear to be in an alternate realm manifesting and living the music. Thank you for letting us worship at the shrine of Sina! 💖
Sina I had to repost blinded by the light on my Facebook page. You blow my mind girl. God bless you.. I wanna post you on my RUclips channel but I am still trying,,, I have been around the block with music I'm a singer and I never heard such a tight drummer as you. God bless you. Sina you are amazing! What a God given talent. To watch you through the years is a real treat and you are getting so much better if that's at all possible. You may be the best drummer in the world one day, I don't say that lightly. BLOWN AWAY!!!
Pop Rock, Power Ballad and Prog Rock all mixed together on this Styx song. The drumming on this tune was a bit more involved than I realized. Great job by Sina as usual. She is a very talented drummer.
Excellent job on the drums there Sina. In 1977 when this song hit the air ways. I was 14 years old. What a great decade or 3 for music. My first cassette was Boston. 2nd was Trooper I believe. 8 tracks were just on the way out. In a few years CD's would replace them both. Thank you for the memories.
I truly love this video of the very talented Sina drumming to this really great ’70’s classic rock ballad!! Many thanks, Sina, for all of the superb videos, for all else that you do, and for being the wonderful person that you are.
I entered "basic drum lessons" in the search feature and watched three lessons by three different people. At the end of number three, a choice of selections that came up with Sina playing some of the 1970s tunes I used to groove on back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Next thing you know, nearly three hours went by as I went from one tune to the other! This sixtysomething fuddy always regretted not learning the drums in my younger days; I'm glad Sina didn't make my mistake. I have subscribed and I'll be back for more.
Welcome! You will often lose hours enjoying all of Sina’s performances, and I mean that in the best way! She is a genuine talented hard-working humble classy young lady with a huge gift....Fan From Florida 🌴
I have been watching Sina drum videos for the last two days. This young artist becomes one with the song. It’s like she is in the zone and all her movements flow with the music. I don’t think you can teach students to drum like Sina. She has a natural talent to feel each song that makes her so exceptional.
John Panozzo has always been hopelessly underrated as one of the premier drummers of his time. Sina absolutely nails the Panozzo style, which I've always felt was just as rich and full of out of the ordinary runs and fill that Keith Moon brought to the skins. Bravo!
On the surface to the untrained ear, this may not sound like a very difficult song to play..but as u can see, there’s a lot beneath the surface as displayed by Sina in another impeccable performance ...bravo sina..U r gifted beyond words !!!
Sina you nailed the song. When your playing you just become part of your drums. I also noticed that your dynamic on the snare is gone and went back to I'll call it regular mic. Thank you so very much for your drum cover's
It's a very rare gift you have. Be Thankful every day for it, and that gift will take you most places people dream of. I subscribed. Thank you for sharing
I always give your videos a thumbs up before watching so I don't forget after. I never have any doubt about the quality I will hear! I have come to expect it from you!
Looks like at 4:37 the video is sped up, it’s not ….it’s fricken her. One of my favorite songs, just realized how complex the drums can be. Amazing talent 🙌
Sina, you are young, beautiful and have been blessed with the best gift one can have in this world. The gift of music. I hope you have a long happy life filled with joy. Threw music you have touched so many and caused a positive impact on their lives, for this I thank you. Much love to you.
If you haven't subscribed yet, you're missing a LOT! I LOVE THIS LADY!!! You inspire me, Sina. Wish I'd had the guts to stand up in 1968 and say I WANT TO BE A DRUMMER!!!! Just wasn't what was possible then. Sina, you are amazing.
This is probably my favorite cover( but I like me all). April 1st 1981 Styz came to Indianapolis, In to play at market square arena at which time I was fortunate enough to be one of the limo drivers for the band. Drove for many bands but it seemed like Styx was ahead of there time in there stage presence and showmanship, I was hooked they became my favorite concert, and Loverboy was the most fun, thanks to you Sina for bringing back fun memories. Carry on.
Don;t remember if I've commented on this. But, this is another example of Sina's expertise on the drums. I probably listen to her covers and originals more than any others. I simply can't get enough of Sina's performances. Another awesome drum cover here...
Subscribed! Your classic rock work takes me back...just hard to believe someone younger than my daughter gives some of the best covers I've heard! Awesome.
Sina I want to thank you for your drum covers it is an inspiration of how you can keep the classic rock music alive with a new generation energy. Keep pounding the skins. Love your music selections. You are an amazing young lady.
Had the pleasure of seeing Styx in the early 80's in the old Montreal Forum. Front row. Boy what a group of musicians and what a great show. No opening band and a white baby grand piano.

@@mikiwikisi1919 Agree !
Yeah, her drum covers are definitely a nostalgia trip for me. The best of music from my youth.
I’ve played music since high school (86’) and was thrilled when the first of my children asked to play music too.
ESPECIALLY thrilled when he asked to teach him “my music”....Sam Cooke, Styx, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Ready For The World etc
With him, and when I see young crushers like this young woman, it STILL brings welled up tears when they are, not out interested in... but playing my era music.
Love to see these young up and comers sharing their talent. And, I try to support them ANY chance I can.
Keep Rocking, SINA🤘🏾
Aloha!🤙🏾
I reckon i could nail 0:00 to 01:55. After that though, well that's when the talent shines through.
Yeah I could probably nail that part too.
yep
Lmao
Great comment. Made me laugh.
Actually this is the part I always wanted to be able play on the piano/keyboard since my youth days (as well as "Don´t let it end" from the Killroy-Album and especially "Best of Times" (from the Cornerstone-Album) - but I never learned that instrument - unfortunately...
This young lady brings tears to my eyes with the songs she pulls up from the past. What really gets to me is how great she is!!
3:33 look at how she almost isn't holding the sticks at all. Her technique is fully developed and "headed for the sky". Her taste, her musicality, her precision, her dedication...what a WONDERFUL package!
No callouses there. Just fantastic instructors.(the student was pretty good too)
The drumming in this song is, IMHO, one of the great aspects of the song and might be one of the best drum playing for any composition. I've listened and watched the video many times and I JUST LOVE watching Sina play.
Sina, Thank you for allowing me to Sail Away back in time. Great Song by a Great Band and covered by an Awesome Drummer!!!
Same hear my friend
i feel you man
Never realized how much drumming is in this song until I watched her going SICK on it !!
She has excellent taste in music! I grew up loving this!!
Graduated in 1978... my all time favorite from high school!!!
Sina....Styx.....Sail Away. What's more perfect heading into the weekend? Another impeccable performance Sina. What a way to begin the summer season!!
@@gregyancoskie5664 many many thanks Greg... have a great weekend🌴
Always loved Styx - graduated from high school the year the band got together. "Lady" blew my mind when it came out, and I was hooked. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME job, Sina :) ! You continue to amaze...
I watched two of your videos and then I subscribed.
Neil Peart, Cozy Powell and now John Panazzo.
You are a serious badass!!!
I've been a drummer for 35 years and there is a hell of a lot more going on in that song than I realized
My thoughts exactly
I agree with you 100 percent my friend
Caustic SodaPop And how about her muscle twitch? Have you seen anything like it before? As far as the song goes, I think she put a little Keith Moon improv into it. I remember hearing her say that she likes to do that with some songs.
Thumbs up from me, yet I might point out that I have virtually zero musical aptitude but had realized decades ago that there is MUCH going on with this song.
After watching her play it was hard to keep up with where she was hitting
DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE YOU’RE WATCHING A MUSICAL BLESSING UNFOLDING RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES? 🙏 YOU SINA
YES!!!!! 💥🔥
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
💯
She is amazing, I hope she will be blessing all our musical futures for many years to come, Go Sina
Wow.
Sina rocks the drums like no other. I could listen to her all day long. Rocking those drums. She is amazing.
God given gifts skills and talents on display!!!❤
After all these years, you're still a pleasure to watch Sina!
Sina Is So Good! When I served onboard the USS Sacramento 77-79 this was our break away song from UNREP. Sina reminds me of the day of the time sailing at sea. Fair Winds And Following Seas! You Go Girl!
Styx. Classic. Close my eyes and just sail away with Sina.
Another one of my favorites! Impeccably covered on the drums! 😉 Thank you!
I am 61,and have rocked for 50 years, you have the gift to fly as high as you dire
Drummers are in an athletic class all by themselves, and you are a prime example of one! Awesome!!!
Styx and Doobie Bro’s. Are the heart
Of my generation and yet you have discovered a way to re-kindle my love for their and your music! Another example of perfect playing with such ease and composure. Come Sail Away is fantastic!
Took me sailing back to my early childhood, sitting in my older brother's room listening to Styx, Steely Dan, Supertramp and others on vinyl. Good memories 👍
Phenomenal. This LADY is on spot. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Wow that's a new dimension and a new dramatic level for a classic rock song. And the outro is super. Thanks a lot, Sina, for this wonderful cover.
Instead of just a thumbs up, I feel Stanley’s comment couldn’t have been stated any better....so just wanted to get that in!
Thank you Sina and God bless!
gathering of angles... headed for the sky. LOVE Your work kiddo!
Your song choices are awesome, watching your videos takes me back to my childhood. There is a lot of good music today, but nothing like the late 70’s and all of the 80’s, this is by far when the best drumming was done, you are spot on, thanks for sharing! 👍😀
I love watching your excitement behind the drums.....it lifts me up Miss Doering.....please carry on.....
And another GREAT performance by Sina. You keep outdoing yourself. One of my favorite Styx songs. Thanks for keeping rock and roll alive!
Love seeing such a young talented musician just getting into it..love when such young muscians keep this alive, thank you from the bottom of my old dude heart..
You are unbelievable. Props to your parents who clearly support you. Brings a tear to my eye to see this kind of talent at this age. Keep playin'!
John Panozzo would be proud. Nice job, Sina. As Always.
I love the drums.. SINA is perfect.
Yes Sina is very good, but I hope you don't refer Yoyoka as a "crazy Japanse kid"... 🤔
@@FrankMulderVideo Hi I was actually referring to JUNNA, but thanks for the tip off will check that one out next
Moony! My new favourite adjective!
Mesmerizing!! Sina you are a gift to see and hear. Your skills are off the charts amazing 💕
Wow, speechless! Nicely freaking done!
One of my favourite 70's-80's bands, thanks, your studio sounds the best on YOU TUBE.
Steady, remarkable, talent that continues to grow before our very eyes. Please don't question it...simply trust what ever is driving your choices. Thank you for sharing your process with us...The World!!!
OMG!!!! Sina, you outdid yourself on This one!!!!! WOW!!!!! U're one fantastic drummer!!!!!! Blown away!!!!!

One of the best drummer I've ever seen. She was born with the right taste and feeling
Some of the best music on the net is from you.... thanks for keeping old tunes alive..... keep on rocking gal!
Your showing why these songs are so great and timeless. This one really showed off your talent. Man I felt this was your best video yet.
I still have my LP of "The Grand Illusion" that I bought in '77. Still one of my favorite records and Sina, you nailed it. Thanks for sharing.
I agree with you 100 percent my friend
Another great song another great band sticks great job Rock on
All hail to the classic rock Gods. Keep 'em coming! Gives me hope for the new generation.
She is Amazing I'll have to agree!!!!
I have been watching Sina drum videos for the last two days. This young artist becomes one with the song. It’s like she is in the zone and all her movements flow with the music. I don’t think you can teach students to drum like Sina. She has a natural talent to feel each song that makes her so exceptional.
Agreed🤜🤛
John Panozzo has always been hopelessly underrated as one of the premier drummers of his time. Sina absolutely nails the Panozzo style, which I've always felt was just as rich and full of out of the ordinary runs and fill that Keith Moon brought to the skins. Bravo!
dont forgot John also followed Buddy rich .. THE all time BEST drummer ...
You're SO right
Sent you to my daughter who is a music GM of a school of rock. As an inspiration and as ideas for concerts. Fun is the rule! You embrace fun!
I watched the first 1:56 and thought, Wow, I could have been a drummer, and then Sina started using both hands. Damn.
Wow! That is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen! You totally rocked it!! Thank you for posting these videos of yours.
This a great tribute to John Panozza. Him and his brother Chuck were the backbone of the Styx rhteym section for the best years
It sucks John died.
On the surface to the untrained ear, this may not sound like a very difficult song to play..but as u can see, there’s a lot beneath the surface as displayed by Sina in another impeccable performance ...bravo sina..U r gifted beyond words !!!
So groovy and Keith Moon-y... Nice one. Cheers from Texas.
I love the music you play. Some of my favorites
Sina that is the best drum cover I have ever heard of Come Sail With Me. Thanks for the show.
Sina, you are young, beautiful and have been blessed with the best gift one can have in this world. The gift of music. I hope you have a long happy life filled with joy. Threw music you have touched so many and caused a positive impact on their lives, for this I thank you. Much love to you.
Great job at such a young age, The sky's the limit when you are gifted. Good luck and God Bless.
Awesome.
How can someone watch and not subscribe to see this incredible drummer in action. As always, loved the vid. Thanks. Tony.
That was brilliant! The smile at 4:00 was great. Last 10 seconds after the music faded was so pure!
She has the ferocity of a Tommy Aldridge and the finess of Neil Pert. And apparently the memory of an elephant! Impressive and outstanding!
Sina I want to thank you for your drum covers it is an inspiration of how you can keep the classic rock music alive with a new generation energy. Keep pounding the skins. Love your music selections. You are an amazing young lady.
When you get into your Grove you shine Sina. Styx can be proud of you for doing this.
A Work of ART by Sina the Rhythm Queen !! SOOO GOOD !!!
Unbelievable...TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE...this girl is AWESOME!!! You keep rocking on there my dear!!!
Had the pleasure of seeing Styx in the early 80's in the old Montreal Forum. Front row. Boy what a group of musicians and what a great show. No opening band and a white baby grand piano.
