Hello Physiotutors, I find your videos helpful and informative. I think I have type 3 superior dysfunction. What are the specific muscle exercises to treat this type of dyskinesis? Thank you.

Did you found some good exercises?

@@LOL62429 Type 3 is mostly related to dysfunction in the rotatory cuff. I would assume your supraspinatus muscle is weak. Look for youtube tutorial on how to test for weakness of the supraspinatus. Directly strengthening the supraspinatus and rotatory cuff muscles should help you.

My right scapula wings a lot but only when I put my arm behind my back. I have this from bilateral parson Turner syndrome. My right scapula also feels very unstable when I move my arm. I get numbness and weakness in my right arm, wrist and elbow from it. My left scapula wings at rest but does not bother me. What type do you think the right is? Also does it matter what type for PT exercises? Or are they all the same? Thanks so much!

The University of Toronto. We're doing our advanced ortho unit and your material comes up regularly. Especially for the shoulder.
