The sad thing is that most of the hecklers shown are from the "Laughs funny" tour when he's been inviting hecklers (and tearing them apart) before his hairline started running away from him.

He once had a go at me for sitting down just as he started, made a joke about a spot on my forehead, i replied that it was funnier than him… during the next break the compere took us to one side and asked us not to heckle carr again because he didn’t like it boohoo he had a go at me first lol

I remember the first time I watched him, about idk some 20 yrs ago, his comedy didn’t resonated with me but Jimmy kept working hard on his material and character and not only did he got better sharper and funnier but slowly but steadily you started to get used to him and becoming to like him. Because his is not only a pretty smart guy but so likable too.

Hands down the most savage thing I’ve ever seen him do was on the Roast of Rob Lowe. He was there with Pete Davidson from SNL. People were commenting about Pete’s father having been killed in the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. When he came up he admonished everyone by saying “This is not the roast of Pete Davidson, it is not even the roast of Pete Davidson’s father. That was in 2001”. Even Rob Lowe reacted to that one.
That roast was cringeworthy it got all personal and political, the comedy was lost.
