40 years ago I was watching an Australian comedy duo called “Blue Kangaroo” in Hawaii. Funniest guys I ever saw. You didn’t want to get their attention. Saw one guy get mad and rush the stage, and the bouncers heaved his arse airborne down about 30 feet of stairs.
When I started doing comedy I got fantastic advice: “You don’t have to do black rooms (I’m white) but if you are gonna, stay strong and keep going because it’s gonna be very tough. You might get hurt and discouraged and that’s up to you - but the good thing is, once you can do black rooms successfully you can perform successfully anywhere.” I have since given up stand-up after a fun ten years, but it took at LEAST 5-6 years before I could work anywhere. Comedy is easy to try but very very hard to succeed at.

My anger toward them for interrupting my planned scripted show would set me off after several attempts to get someone to eject them so I can continue the script, but luckily, these comedians are professional at keeping their cool under all the stress!
