  • In this video I talk about my NBT screen setup/Livescope setup. I also got to spend the day on the water with one of my very best friends! The fishing wasn't very good, but we did sling an ear on the prop so that was exciting!

    Thanks for sharing, Jacob. Most people never see the behind the scenes "A Day in the Life of Being a Pro Bass Angler"... 🍺🎣

    A few constructive words:
    1. Let’s work on the titles to your videos. This is the second “I can’t believe this happened” in a very short period of time.
    2. Some form of an outro would be good. I was waiting to see more action and BAM the video was just over.
    A lot if this story was left untold. Any issues with the lower unit? Did you limp back to the ramp? Or did she get on pad as expected?
    If you’re still reading, keep pushing forward with the videos and trying to improve. A lot of people are wanting to see the journey!

    At least it’s just the cavitation plate. Cane be easily repaired by any place that welds aluminum. Had the same thing happen to my Yamaha.

    O boy. that's another reality of fishing that doesn't get talked about much lol. Pumps not working, trolling motor quits and throwing a prop. Ouch.

    My comment would be why don’t you just get a 75” screen & be done with it or get some scuba gear & let your buddy go down & hook the fish for ya. Then you could watch the fish & him swim back to the top🤦‍♂️. This is what Fishing has come to. Very sad

      Yeah I’m curious why you made the switch? Do you like it better than the Ultrex? I’ve considered the brushless Garmin Force

    • @mattholweg9714
      @mattholweg9714 9 месяцев назад

      @@jasonconrad215 I’m on the fence of making the switch from ultrex to move as well but would like to hear more about it before dropping that kind of money. But it sounds awful in this video.

    • @jasonconrad215
      @jasonconrad215 9 месяцев назад

      I have friends with the Garmin force and everyone loves it, brushless motor is quieter than the Ultrex it’s faster (comparing same thrust and electricity requirements) but it’s more expensive I think. If I had known in 2020 when I ordered my Nitro I would’ve gotten the Force for sure. Ultrex works well enough but if I’m trolling with a full battery on high I’m lucky to hit 2.7gps compared to buddy getting 4.5gps and his is quieter

    With the expense of that monitor why would you go that big ? For somebody that was complaining about money that’s a luxury I think I would have done without been fishing with a 12 inch monitor for years and can see just fine.

    • @garyphillips2650
      @garyphillips2650 9 месяцев назад +2

      @louusmcdade1116 with that rationale he should probably have a 14ft john boat and oars with a cane pole! Everything else is just a luxury

      So what I’m gathering is if you’re a “professional “ angler you buy products win tournaments and talk about how great the products are at every possible opportunity and hopefully the CEO of said product manufacturer is listening and that’s how you get your products paid for and if you are really good at telling the world how great the products are then maybe the manufacturers will even give you money. This is the only way to make enough money to survive as a professional angler. So he bought the 22” NBT battleship so he can tell everyone how great it is so NBT will give him more products and money.
