- Hurricane Beryl continues to maintain Category 4 strength as it moves towards Jamaica, according to KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Winds are sustained at 140 mph as it moves west-northwest at 20 mph. This storm is expected to slowly weaken on approach to the Yucatan Peninsula later this week. Read more: www.khou.com/a...

Its just raining hard and a little bit windy in kingston but no damage here..i mean the rain is letting up outside ..think i might go take a shower in that rain lol but yea beryl is purring like a kitten

A solar event just occurred. It will be updated in the spaceweather forecast once they do the reading. The last time. It fueled this storm. I really concerned that even though the eye appears disorganized- now? That may not be the case later. And. Big and. The 20% storm might follow in the big steps of the storm in front. It’s early. I pray I am wrong. Thank you for the update.

It looks like it's trying to organize itself better. The eye is definitely opening up. The satellite footage looks like it's strengthening, but the pressure indicates it's weakening.
