    Great video man! This is the information I needed. I’ll need to pick up one of these anytime soon. It just sucks that I need to get a suit with it as well. Ride save ✌️

      The boots fit with any suit, so you can use them with your current suit... Unless you mean you personally need to get a suit as well.

      @@GaragePrints Sorry for the late reply. That is awesome! I always though you need a dainese suit because of the velcro connection. No I got an Alpinestars suit, so no need to buy that. Thank you a lot! Cheers.

    I just bought a set of these and I agree. One set of boots that can do it all and not compromise comfort or convenience. Did you have to break them in? Mine are just a hair tight on the top of my foot. If I went with my normal size it would have been too much movement inside in the heel section.

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  Год назад +3

      I didn't need to break them in but I found that it is possible to get the inner laces too tight and cause discomfort. But I was able to fix that on my very next session so problem solved. It's just a matter of finding what works for you. It should not be a consistent issue though, at least it wasn't for me so I didn't bring it up.

      Hey I just got a pair today… they are a bit tight too, even though I tried on in the store in 44 and they were comfy but this is a newer and different model so it fits a little more narrow I guess. I bought the same size Dianese hi top shoes in 44 4 months ago and they were perfect. Did yours stretch out a little for ya??

    The one gripe I have with these boots is that the sole is much too thin. I wish there was a replaceable option or that Dainese would add more material.

    Thanks for sharing. Upgrading from my SMX plus boots to the Axial D1’s.. just deciding between perfed or non-perfed.

    • @GaragePrints

      Unfortunately, I haven't tried the perforated version but hopefully Dainese helps me out this year again so I can try the perforated version and do a comparison.

      perforated if warm climate makes the biggest difference alpinestars do a great touring sock for underneath too.....dainese boots are best boot if walking about off bike as not as slippy or plasticky 🤟

    Hi great video. Where did you get the boots? Did you go to a store or online and how much? Also, I am a street rider and ride a 701 Svarpt and looking for something that fit that kind of bike and riding. I agree with you I want something comfortable and offer protection. Thanks

    • @GaragePrints

      I have owned 3 pairs of these boots, 2 of which I'm still using. I bought 2 of them in store and one online, if you know your size in European size these boots fit true to size. So feel confident ordering online if you don't have a physical store with these in stock. Plus they do returns and exchanges as well with free shipping.

    I'd like to save money to buy this but the smallest size they had online was size 41 and I am size 40.

    Great video and review 👍! Im sold. Question, is that the new vented model? If so, is the airflow noticeable enough? I plan to use it mostly on the track and during the summer months. I currently have Sidi Vertigos and they are stiff and pretty uncomfortable. Thanks!

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад +1

      I have not been used the vented model, but I ride with these boots in over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and I don't have any issues with my feet getting too warm especially while riding. Certainly more vents would help improve any overheating concerns, but I can't speak from experience and I can't say wether or not they have any draw backs. Perhaps Dainese will send me a set so I can try them out and make a new video.

    Hey man nice review... I been looking for someone who has them to ask questions bc im thinking of buying them.
    1. What is your regular shoe size in sneakers/boots (not motorcycle boots)
    2. Do they run small? Big? True to size?
    3. Are they heavier than A-Stars boots??
    Thanks

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад +1

      I wear a 9 which is is right about what I wear on these boots. I buy size 42 and they fit really well which is very true to size in my experience. And the weight isn't something I know for a fact but these boots are super comfortable and they're not heavy at all. I feel like the weight won't make a significant difference, what matters is how well they fit and the freedom of movement on and off the bike.

    • @mannyfel8324

      Do you wear regular socks with them as well??

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  3 года назад

      I actually wear soccer sox with them because you will need the barrier between your skin and the boot. I have worn them with short sox and while they don't bother me while I use them at the end of the day I do have a bit of discomfort. But tall sox fix it.

    Are the soles grippy? I'm curious if they'd do well riding an EUC

    • @GaragePrints

      Not sure what you mean EUC, but yeah the soles are grippy but of course these are not rated for places like an industrial workplaces.

    Would you recommend these for stunt riders? I also had a tibia plateau fracture last year and I am trying to get some better gear before riding again.

    • @GaragePrints
      @GaragePrints  2 года назад +1

      I don't have any experience with stunting, but if protection is what you are after these are amazing and they do provide a lot of mobility on and off the bike... I'm not certain they are the optimal choice for stunting. Perhaps a high street riding shoe would be a better option albeit with a huge dip in protection. Most riding shoes forgo ankle protection for the added comfort and mobility but of course protection is minimal. If i were to ever try stunning i would definitely at least try to use these boots
