I visited years ago, but there were tons of people when I went. It was a bit creepy in your visit since you seemed to be the only ones in there. I have never seen so many things in one day. Your mind gets blown over and over. You said it right, it feels like a fever dream. It’s in Spring Green WI, wear comfortable shoes and allow an entire day to see it if not 2 days. Even with a video you can’t convey what this place is really like. It is an amazing experience.
@TheDailyWoo have watched a lot of your videos, really enjoyed them , thank you for letting us tag along, especially when covid hit your videos stopped me from cabin fever
I've been to The House on the Rock multiple times as a kid. I finally went back as an adult a year or two ago and I realized this guy had to have gone batshit crazy at some point. That organ room is the creation of a madman. It's fun to take people there, there's nothing else like it.
@@jixxter in the Japanese Garden at the very end. You cross a little bridge and it leads to a little round grass area, I was looking around at the waterfall and when I turned around he was on one knee
I’ve been to the House on the rock several times. It always amazes me. Can’t imagine the mind that created this. Something like Barnum and Bailey met the Twilight Zone
It was better maintained when Mr. JORDAN was alive. He knew how to do the upkeep on all of the automated orchestra rooms, many of which no longer work. Just dusting would take a crew of people, let alone the rest of the cleaning and maintenance.
My family and I visited The House On The Rock, when I was a young girl. Magical place, I will forever picture this place in my memories. Oh and the smell, it smelt very musty in there.
I can't believe I never heard of this place. I was mesmerized watching the video. Absolutely amazing. If I'm ever even close to it, I will definitely visit. Thanks for sharing your experience
It’s definitely a crazy place. At Christmas time they decorate the streets of yesteryear, been a couple times but not at Christmas time. There is more that wasn’t in the video.
Same... I've never heard of it before today. I've been all over the US and have seen hundreds of roadside attractions... even one the guidebooks I have doesn't mention this place. :)
May 4, 2024 - Hi there! Just caught your video of this place. Whenever friends visit from out of state, the House On The Rock is one of the attractions that is not to be missed. As a native of Wisconsin, we still visit there time after time, because there's always MORE to see than one visit will accomplish. Matter of fact, I was just there yesterday with friends visiting from Maryland. Nice video, dude! ❤
Being from Illinois, we have visited The House on the Rock many times. It's just a few hour drive so its a great day trip. It's grown massive over the years but is always a family favorite.
When you are in Milwaukee you have to go to the museum and see the streets of old Milwaukee... similar to the streets of yesterday.... also rumor has it streets of Milwaukee might be going away....
Preferably before they move it to that God awful looking new building. and you are indeed correct, they plan on doing away with it. It's like the old streets version of House on the Rock. I might live in Texas now, but I will always be a Wisconsinite.
Wow! I live 2 hrs away from this & never realized what it actually entailed! I’m gonna make a trip now to see it in person.. I see the signs for it when traveling by, but was like ‘meh’.. Thanks for sharing 👍
Now this video was worth watching! I was amazed at every display, the intricacy was beyond your imagination. Every area is a story of history. Thank you for this tour.
WOW... I had never even heard of The House on the Rock.... THANK YOU for showing it to us! What a wonderful enchantingly weird place.... I could spend days there!
This has been on my bucket list for a couple years! After American Gods, it was moved up a notches to higher priority. What an amazing looking destination!
Hi Adam, im disabled and you and your friend have made me happy. My mom and my nieghbors wife passed away This year. My mom feb4 and my nieghbor last month. its sad but i know there better days for us. Vickie💞
This has been on my bucket list for almost 35 years it was too far off 94 when I was either heading to or heading back from my trip to Minneapolis to see my daughter from Detroit. This is outstanding it's like being there without being there ♥️ thank you for this!!!!
There is a back roads way you can go from Minneapolis to Chicago where it will basically be right on your way. Assuming you go through Chicago on your way to Detroit
I went there when I was a teenager about 16 years ago, blew my mind just like you. Incredible place. When I saw the title of the video I was like Adam is gonna love that place!
I’ve been there several times. As a kid, the Streets of Yesterday were under construction and I saw it complete later on. The infinity room is amazing. I could never figure out how he got all the huge things up there!!
My grandma and her sisters took my cousin and I here when we were kids. I only remember bits and pieces, like the infinity room and instruments that played on their own. It was so nice to revisit through this video! And yes, I do remember feeling like we had entered another plane of reality 😂
You went on an exceptionally quiet day, which is good because it can get really crowded in the summer. We live in Wisconsin and have been here many times; I made my own video of it about five years ago. I started laughing when you were spending so much time in the Streets of America section (the little main street) because you had no idea how much more there was to come! Your comments, such as "fever dream" and "I feel like we've left this earth" are spot on. This place is trippy! And I feel like everybody reaches that state of delirium like you did eventually. We've ranged from starting to run through the attraction just to get out to laughing hysterically because it just goes on and on and on to my kids telling me that it gives them nightmares. There is really no way to describe it to people.
This is your masterpiece, Adam! Easily one of the most amazing videos, and one of the most amazing places ever. I'd never heard of this place, but I'm already planning a trip there. Great job! It really makes Disney pale by comparison.
Adam my family is from Wisconsin and I can remember visiting from California back in the 80’s and my parents took us to this insanely magical place. I was a young teenager at the time and I can honestly say it was the greatest roadside attraction I have ever visited. Thank you for bringing back such fond memories. You need to visit Wisconsin Dells my friend. As a youngster I can remember it being similar to modern day Pigeon Forge . Very touristy with alot of quirkygoodness.
I have been here. It was about 10-15 years ago. A wild walk through. The guy collected everything and dedicated a room To each collection. This is a Woo thing. Have a fun time.
Iowa is my birth state so I’ve enjoyed this latest series. Todays vlog got me really excited!!! My Grandparents took me to The House on the Rock several times- it is utterly fascinating!! It’s been at least 15 years since I’ve been there- Thanks for taking me back, Adam!
I've not been there since the late 70's or early 80's. I was quite young but I do remember rather vividly the vast array of instruments and of course the carousel. I clearly need to get back out there!!!
I went here as a kid in the 80s and hadn’t thought about it in so long!! Adam, this video flooded back tons of 80s childhood memories for me. Thank you for taking us along and letting me re-live a wonderful childhood memory again now through adult eyes. It’s even more amazing watching you go through it! Love this video!! 🤩 Awesome to see you so amazed too!!
Loved the video edit when the band was playing. Also, I was surprised Mr the Woo didn't notice the squirrel that ran by at the very end. I even said "squirrel!" out loud when I saw it
Wow cant believe you're still doing this. I used to watch your channel all the time back in like 2012 or 2013, when I was 12-13 and still get the intro stuck in my head on occasion haha ADAM THE WOO GOES ON ADVENTURES FOR YOU HE DOESNT EVEN ASK YOUR MOM! you look healthy, keep it up :) was just checking this place out online as I live in Wisconsin and I'm always looking for things to take my girlfriend with me to do. Blessed be thee
I went there in 1995 when I was 9! when my family took a 2 week camper trip. we saw wisconsin, Minnesota, north and south dakota , missouri , wyoming and so much more ! great memories
Amazing. I never heard of this place. There building looks to be on an older foundation. There are a lot of valuable lamps, a few definitely look to be Tiffany, and fine bronze sculptures and interesting antiques. I love it. Great video Adam. Thanks. There are so many automata antiques, wow… this place is amazing! It’s definitely on my bucket list now! Wow.. just wow
Adam. Thank you for showing that to us. It's the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I'm going to have to watch this over and over to be able to notice everything. I had never heard of it. Thank you again for an amazing vlog.
Oh my I have never been more fascinated in my life. Thank you for doing this video. I have never actually stopped and started so much during a video all the time I have been watching videos. I was just amazed. All I can say this was AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS.
I went there several times in my twenties...that would be in late 70s. I loved it. I especially liked the geology of the area, and also the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin. I intend to go again soon and see what it is like now.
I have at least 5 generations ( that I had met) of Madison, Wisconsin residents and have never been to the house on the rock. Thank you for sharing - great blog full of information and now I never have to go.
OMG! Been there multiple times over the years. Isn’t it amazing 🤩. Awesome to see you visiting so close to my neck of the woods! NE Wisconsin. Loved the video ❤
So glad you finally made it! This is my number one favorite roadside attraction of all time
I can see why . Place was mind blowing
I visited years ago, but there were tons of people when I went. It was a bit creepy in your visit since you seemed to be the only ones in there. I have never seen so many things in one day. Even with a video you can’t convey what this place is really like. It is an amazing experience.
And you took mamma woo with you too!
We saw this attraction back in the 1970’s and loved it. Glad it is still going strong.
@TheDailyWoo have watched a lot of your videos, really enjoyed them , thank you for letting us tag along, especially when covid hit your videos stopped me from cabin fever

Wisconsin is a gem of a place
Thank you. We Wisconsinites love it here.
My husband proposed to me here and it will always hold a special place in my heart ❤
Really? Like in which area? I need more details!!
Looks like you took that glass cock in the eye. Hahaha!!! Hope you guys are well. Take care Miss.
@@jixxter in the Japanese Garden at the very end. You cross a little bridge and it leads to a little round grass area, I was looking around at the waterfall and when I turned around he was on one knee
It's a beautiful drive there, too. It started out as his family's picnic spot and his dream of building a home.
I’ve been to the House on the rock several times. It always amazes me. Can’t imagine the mind that created this. Something like Barnum and Bailey met the Twilight Zone
You did such a fantastic job filming and describing this indescribable attraction. I always have said “there’s no way this exists” too! 😱
Streets of yesterday was my absolute favorite thing here growing up. It always makes me happy thinking about it haha. Glad to see ya did a video here!
Can you imagine the maintenance on this place? I must go here one day. Absolutely amazing.
It was incredible !
It was better maintained when Mr. JORDAN was alive. He knew how to do the upkeep on all of the automated orchestra rooms, many of which no longer work. Just dusting would take a crew of people, let alone the rest of the cleaning and maintenance.
I agree. My first trip there was in the 70s, I've been there several times since, and have seen it deteriorating a bit more with each visit. So sad.
“How does this even exist?” Is the most apt phrase. 🎉😂❤😮
I’m with you. If I’m close, I’m getting there somehow.
I feel like if he filmed everything there in intricate detail the video could’ve been over an hour or more.

Welcome to Wisconsin, Adam. Enjoy your stay.
We should hang out someday.
When you are in Milwaukee you have to go to the museum and see the streets of old Milwaukee... similar to the streets of yesterday.... also rumor has it streets of Milwaukee might be going away....
It's not a rumor, they have already said they are gonna have it in the new museum

Welcome to Wisconsin. The southwestern part of my state is beautiful.
Wow! I live 2 hrs away from this & never realized what it actually entailed! I’m gonna make a trip now to see it in person.. I see the signs for it when traveling by, but was like ‘meh’.. Thanks for sharing 👍
it is MASSIVE. make sure you plan most of the day to go through it.
For sure! I also google mapped it.. Huge complex 👍😎👍
House on the Rock is one of the only non-theme park attractions I've visited more then once. Truly a spectacle.
The House on the Rock was amazing. I had never heard of it before. It's now on my bucket list to see.
I love the squirrel making a cameo at the last second before the end in the background hahahaha
A great thing about your Iowa/Illinois/Wisconsin trip Adam is showing my 8 year old son the interesting places that you’ve gone. Great trip 😎👍🏻
This has been on my bucket list for a couple years! After American Gods, it was moved up a notches to higher priority. What an amazing looking destination!

I went there when I was a teenager about 16 years ago, blew my mind just like you. Incredible place. When I saw the title of the video I was like Adam is gonna love that place!
Went there about 25 to 30 years ago and this brings me right back.
I’ve been there several times. As a kid, the Streets of Yesterday were under construction and I saw it complete later on. The infinity room is amazing. I could never figure out how he got all the huge things up there!!
This place is definitely on my bucket list!
Made his own world! So strange. But weirdly cool.
My grandma and her sisters took my cousin and I here when we were kids. I only remember bits and pieces, like the infinity room and instruments that played on their own. It was so nice to revisit through this video! And yes, I do remember feeling like we had entered another plane of reality 😂
Welcome to Wisconsin!!! House on the Rock is a must for collectors and architect fanatics!

I grew up less than a few hours from House on the Rock, but have still never been. Great video!
I go there every couple of years...especially loved it as a child 😊
I've not been there since the late 70's or early 80's. I was quite young but I do remember rather vividly the vast array of instruments and of course the carousel. I clearly need to get back out there!!!
Whatever they’re charging to get in that place it’s not enough! The pullback on the doll head was epic with your sister snickering. Thanks Woo!
I went here as a kid in the 80s and hadn’t thought about it in so long!! Adam, this video flooded back tons of 80s childhood memories for me.
