Yes you're correct! All arrows should be pointing in the same direction. What he did wont hurt anything but the filter wont be as affective in this orientation. Good catch 😎
@@xtra3975 @Lincon -- "Air Flow" arrow and "UP" arrow are NOT the same thing. If the filter would said "UP" then he would have matched it with "UP" arrow of the casing body. However in his case - filter says "Air Flow" so he has to match it with the direction of the air flowing which is downward. Here "UP" on casing body means that you want to insert the casing body such a way that the filter supporting part of the casing stays at the bottom and filter rests on it nicely. In case it is possible to insert the casing in a wrong way then there is nothing to support the filter's bottom and filter would not stay in place. "Air Flow" direction on the filter means - correct side of the filter faces the incoming air to filter it properly - otherwise it would not be very effective in filtering the air. Hopefully it is bit clear now.
I do this too with blunt force coconut spray. Got pulled over for tint and the cop said my car smelled suspiciously of coconut. He asked to search the car. I said I don’t consent to searches anymore, my car was damaged once. Peeled the tint in front of him and he didn’t even give me a fix it ticket.
Link for exact filter seen in video - amzn.to/3whYos0

Isn’t the airflow supposed to be the same direction as the arrow not down

Couldn’t of said it better myself!
@@AutoHeadz ok so it is correct with air flow arrow down and tray arrow up
Do it as shown in the video. Trust me, I got you.
Can you spray on both sides of the filter?
Yes
Good video!
awesome video would this work for the 3is cause I drive a 2014 IS250
Hey man, I’m not 100% sure but I’m willing to bet it is VERY similar.
Yeah should work on any car
Wonder Wafers - April Fresh
If I was going to spray anything on my filter, it wouldn't be fragrance. Maybe some iodine to kill any viruses or bacteria.
Good video though.
Yeah man, couldn’t hurt. Most fragrances are alcohol based anyway so maybe killing two birds with one stone.

This was when I first got my car so the tint was like 2 days old, came off easy and decided to keep it off for that reason
