Good idea, but I wonder if your new filter is filtering out most of the Lysol droplets. Maybe remove the old filter, do the spray process, then insert a new filter?
Good point, it didn't seem like the filter was slowing it down much, a ton was still flowing through the vents. But you're right leaving the filter out during the spraying process would let it flow better/more effectively 👍
Great video (as always)! Of note, my 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor does NOT come equipped with a cabin air filter. From what I have googled, one can cut the area open with a utility knife and order a cover for it. I did use your Lysol suggestion however!
Thank you, happy to share. Ohh dang, yeah my older Toyota truck doesn't have one either. Its kind of a bummer because they catch so much dust and debris before it blows inside the car.
For the 5 times recommendations, how long should you wait before each interval? and tip for eveyrone watching, please remove the cabin air filter before spraying..
Just a note of caution when spraying any chemicals, including Lysol, into the air vents: first read the label to make sure that the product is not flammable. While the filter may remove most of the spray, there is alway a possibility that some could reach the fan's motor. The motor is not explosion proof.
@@jesusisoursavior2682 yes you can use other sprays to disinfect 👍 they even sell vent and duct cleaner spray for under $10 or can even make a really diluted bleach solution like 1:100.
@@JonnyDIY brother itry this today and i after 6 hours i try to epen the aircon and still in first 1 minutes smell bad like vinegar. should i put more and tey it again the same process? thanks

Maybe 30 seconds to a minute in between 👍
before arriving to your destination and you turn off ac and run the fan, do you leave recirc on or off?
Shouldn't matter if it's rum long enough, but if you turn off recirculate it'll pull in hot air from outside and dry faster/better 👍
Can this work on a 2021 Volkswagen Jetta?
Yes pretty much any vehicle with AC👍
Nobody even believed me when I said my air smells lol
Cat pee haha
Dang your a baddie
I just did this on my 11 grand cherokee, smelt like a car wash inside when the air was on!
Nice! 👍
