Watched the tv series.
Some very order of Saint Leibowitz vibes

They just disagree on how."
@@justWorrik I put it in Quotation Marks to make clear it is not my invention.
And the enclave wants to save humanity by colonizing another planet. And as MCU Odin once said: The people are what matters.

I can't tell you how much I love this channel. Conan, Warhammer, star wars......and now fallout. This channel just keeps getting better.
Not to mention the way they do animated breakdown videos that detail battles from G.o.Ts and other series. That's what got me started on this channel.
Did they ever finish the Lord of The Rings first age videos? It looks like they didn’t.
And Tolkien-lore ! 😍
I haven't been so invested in the lore telling of Fallout since Storyteller years back. Keep up the great work!

Fuck I make the pilgrimage to Storyteller every once inawhile, it’s a shame that the channel is dead
@@mattkent4397 It's not dead, it's memorialized for all to still see and watch.
@@Warkingist I meant the series since they didn’t continue on with the lore.
@@mattkent4397 All great things have a beginning, and an ending, and for the series of Storyteller, it started perfectly, and ended perfectly.
By 2296, the East Coast Brotherhood of Steel is easily the strongest and most dominant faction in wasteland United States. The fact that they can project their power from coast to coast with the Prydwen and reinforce western chapters makes them top dog

Really loving this series. Great work on illustrating everything so well. :D
The Brotherhood became one of the most memorable video game factions ever too
Fr, from the beginning in fallout 1 I loved them and their iconic armor. Still love them to this day, badass brotherhood
Wow, you guys are churning out so many banger episodes. I prefer my isolationist Brotherhood. A cult who hoards technology rather than go out and try and bring order to humanity. They are more interesting as a small force with limited resources, albeit powerful. Super mutants really need to be a niche enemy by this point. It is done well in NV, a remnant force from the Master. FO 3-4 kind of force the Super mutants in as meh enemies.
Agreed.
Unpopular opinion but I think Bethesda has gone stale and keeps forcing them back in because it’s “safe.” They don’t have to risk innovation if they can just copy and paste.
@@Fallout3131 that is not an unpopular opinion that is the majority opinion
@@MrGalagoth Good, then I agree with them!
And they retconned NV
Even in fallout one the brotherhood of steel eventually became an r&d hub
there’s so much fallout lore i would love to see on this channel
It was not the BoS who destroyed the Unity or the Enclave. It was the works of the Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, the Lone Wanderer, and the New California Republic.

The brotherhood of steel is my favorite fallout faction just do the fact they were power armor and act like a order of knights. Like space marines but retro.
Fuck 'em.
Except without the chivalry of knights
@Dealerofdeath1998 so, just as real knights
@@Dealerofdeath1998 oh, please, look up the meaning of chivalry in feudal structure. I'd say that they have too much chivalry(except Lyons, he was a very unchivalric man, who chose loyalty to idea over loyalty to structure).
Thanks for these videos, the timing is perfect, as the Amazon Fallout series was just released and it was actually pretty good.
Love that you guys started where it all began in the og fallout games such good story if it wasnt for those games no one would be talking about this series now

I LOVE the art style of these videos
14:42 Actually Harold is a F.E.V. “Ghoul” based on his physical and biological deviations from all other Ghouls, oh and the fact he has a tree growing in his head. Not to mention the nature of the circumstances of his “ghoulification”.
Harold is something unique
nah
Love your content! Keep up the good work 😊😊😊❤❤
My favorite faction in Fallout series.
I can't wait for this series
It is not good
It's great
It's pretty good, it has likable characters and no forced politics
@@JohnFreyholtz these days that's all you need to be good
Can we see the tactics / strategy of Ender Wiggins? Required reading at the Annapolis.
I’ve always viewed the BOS as a necessary faction. Wastelanders hate that they hoard pre-war technology, but we’ve seen the kind of technology and other science experiments that were being developed in secret before the bombs fell. At least the BOS are cautious, while as Wastelanders just see a cool weapon and cause mayhem with it.
Cant wait to watch this video :)
Loving the Fallout series. I never played Fallout so don't know a lot about it. Good story so far.
No es bueno. You have to try the games to understand why
don't listen to him. the games story is unfortunately actually much better and deeper than actual gameplay, and bethesda NPC behaviour will really remove your immersion. still, it is worth a try if you can look over some bad game design.

Vault Dweller: You've got to fight mutants or humanity is doomed
BOS: Yes, you're right!
*100 years later*
BOS: PURGE THE MUTANT, KILL THEM ALL!
Thanks, Albert, thanks.
Thank you
Ad Victorium!!!
For the Brotherhood!
Whats the time frame here...like...just days later there's mutants and raiders? Great video nonetheless! Just threw me through a loop.
Well, yes, there were mutants and Raiders just days later. But not super Mutants, and not the raider gangs we find in the wastes.
More like irradiated wild life and people trying to fight to survive.
Reminder
It just works
excellent
I wonder if the Brotherhood of Steel ever figured out that it wasn't technology that doomed humanity, it was humanity forgetting to value humanity and the world over power.
FO3 kind of touches on that but only superficially really.
@@markcoroneos7811That's literally their whole ideology in Fallout 4.
I mean the brotherhood don’t blame technology? They literally don’t trust humanity with it. That’s their creed, not that technology is bad but that humans are shit and don’t deserve it. Their long term plan is so reintroduce it once humanity has learned it’s lessons. Obviously a timetable on that part is ambiguous which has led the BOS to just evolve over time into tech hoarders who don’t care about outsiders mostly.
@@stephenvargas5806If you think about it, BoS doctrine is very ethically sound. Cold most certainly, but that is mostly due to their long-term goals measured in lifetimes. It probably helps to drill into every aspirant/initiate the history of BoS and Mariposa.
True
wait wait1. where the supermutants coming from before grey and harold found mariposa 2. did they seriously get knocked in my chance 3. Why did harold mutate at all if he didn't fall into the vats like grey ?
1. Apparently a chinese nuke in 2077 damaged the mariposa facility enough to let FEV spread to the outside
2. Dont understand what you are asking
3. He was exposed to it by breathing it and such, maybe got some drops on him
I believe Harold was splashed by some of the FEV when the crane knocked Moreau into the vat.
There were only a few mutants.... coming precisely from the abandoned Mariposa base, not just a few humans but mutated animals as well.
Guys all of this will come to pass, lets make sure were all prepared and get those vaults up and running! 😈
you should cover caesar’s legion and the battle of hoover dam
pls do a video on caesar's legion and the new california republic from new vegas! their equipment, armor, and soldiers

SO f*cking cool to see a map of America after the bombs fell!!! Thank you for this video! Ad Victoriam!
ah yes, todd howard's favorite faction
I still don't understand how the Master got his body to mutate the way it did around a screen and with an eyestalk coming out of his body. Was it because of his exposure to F.E.V.?
Correct! And thanks to his exposure, he was also able to absorb others' bodies and mind, even managing to fuse with the computer.
He experimented on himself for years, fusing his body with technology and absorbed beings.... He lost his mind and thought, in his descent into madness, that he had a new purpose of "Unity" that would bring global peace.... it's quite tragic honestly.
At least they have the mean to back their policy, unlike the railroad ಠಿ_ಠ
Where are the remaining videos on the Wheel of Time series ?

on the fallout new vegas lore
it was the NCR (New california republic) that got rid of the 2 groups on the new california wasteland. That is why on Fallout NV the most advanced and cultural faction was the NCR with their Capital built on the LA ruins, California
LA ruins? Bruh what? The capital of the NCR is Shady Sands.
@@DocLeQuackFallout TV show puts Shady Sands around LA, which makes more sense then you know, right next to Death Valley.
@@Skiritai Yeah but he said LA ruins which is the Boneyard. Shady Sands is still a completely different area even if it is next to LA.

Ad Victorium, bloodhound.
Over the years, sampling different Lores...it just now occurs to me--the BOS are COMSTAR!! "Keeping humanity safe" by keeping high-tech out of the hands of the hoi-paloi!
The brotherhood of steel has kinda been ruined for me via fallout 4 and the TV show, and I'm not saying that as a slight. What I've come to see from the bos is that depending on what sect of the bos your dealing with, you are either getting
A. A cult dedicated to technology
B. Isolationists who want to be left alone.
C. An army who wants to bring order.
But I can say that from what I've seen, the bos is on the road to be the next big threat to the wasteland, and I honestly feel that in either the next season of the TV show, or in Fallout 5, the brotherhood and vault tec are going to war.
It makes no sense for the order to be static Veronica outright says it and elder McNamara agreed that if they maintain their isolationism they will die out in fallout one the bos even abandons its isolationism to become an r and d development house
Ad Victoriam
I feel like humans in Fallout seem fairly optimistic, my man the planet is supposedly devoid of oil gas and uranium, how are you going to rebuild civilization exactly?
Have you played the games?
Most people you talk to are either depressed, resigned, delusional or crazy.
And yeah, they didn't rebuild much. After 200 years people still dont bother fixing a hole in their roof or removing the skeleton of the previous occupant
True
👏🏻👏🏻
Hell fookin yeah🎉
The show was overall great but I'm dissapointed they made an absolute mockery out of the BoS
How?
Ridin' the fallout wave right?
so as far as i understand power armors are from pre-war technology, but does that mean they cant build any more? does it mean there is only a limited amount of power armor in their reserves and with time it is only going to get less and less? because those atomic powercores they use as fuel are definetelly considered to be a very rare thing if i remember!
Fallout 4 kinda fucks the lore in that regard. Fusion cores are new canon, and supposedly the Eastern brotherhood can manufacture both Verti-birds and power armor. Earlier canon has the power armor suits being run on their own internal micro-reactor holding enough fuel for decades of continuous use. There's enough fusion power plants, fusion refueling stations for cars, etc. That fuel really shouldn't be a problem with old lore.
@@MUJUNKY oh, woah! thank you!
@@MUJUNKYfusion core supposed to be nuclear diamond battery ofc base on fission not fusion bcs fusion technology still far away to archived

Im only into a few minutes of ep2 of the tv show but Amazon is trying so hard to turn BoS into 40k space marines. “F those clerics!! They send you in for a toaster oven! You know what you can do with an f-ing toaster oven!?!” I mean come on I know GW thinks it’s funny because the Amazon series will probably be the biggest single payday they’ve had comparable TWWH3 but still. Fallout lore isn’t lacking in content, use that. Sorry for being off topic I just switched over from watching the series and yeah..
ENCLAVE FOREVER
The Brotherhood of Steel is undoubtedly the single greatest force of stagnation, authoritarianism, xenophobia, and elitism in Post-War America, only rivaled by the Enclave, the Institute, and The Legion.
Based
Stagnation- They produce advanced weapons and armor, not to mention their stores of prosthetic organs and cybernetics.
Authoritarianism- They aren't a governing body, they're a military.
Xenophobia- See the Midweat Chapter.
Elitism- Ah yes, because no other faction is very hoidy toidy.
So the minute men could lead the commonwealth that’s funny they are a good faction but way to small and way to weak to be able to keep control of the commonwealth
More like the Brotherhood of Losers, am i right fellow Enclave bros?
I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the Oil Rig blowing up, Navarro being taken over, Raven Rock blowing up, and then Adam's Air Force Base being taken over.
If you thought the brotherhood was to slow in taking action then the Enclave must be disgustingly slow
The BoS’s origins are entirely understandable, yet the result of those origins is unjustifiable in its actions and arguably its existence. It is as deplorable if not more deplorable than what they were created to fight and resist against in their origin.
The brotherhood of steal were heroes end of discussion
Defending the Wastelands from aggressive mutants, deathclawsz etc is bad?
Why are you talking about non-canon stuff? This makes Todd Howard cry and make up lies about how good his games are.
What noncanon stuff?
The game is non canon but some parts still get mentioned in the other games.
Anyone else hated what the Amazon series did to the BoS? They turned them into whiney, cowardly, immature, morons. Raiders in Power Armor.
I believe it's stated it's 4 years after fallout 4. Likely they took some huge losses and likely lost all their veteran troops thus leaving things to the old men and the younger soldiers.
Even knight Titus looks super young I bet the other knights are young too

They've assisted in destroying two major cells of Enclave operatives.
