The most powerful thing I got from this talk is when you brought up the pleasures of the ego, that phrase pleasures of the ego, it made me reflect on the high someone gets when they feed their ego, you are correct All things considered , it's a very unfulfilling lame high, that would be more easily sacrificed, If people really pondered, on what forcing people to worship your ego really gets you. I do a podcast on bitchute, if you allow interviews I would like to have you on.
I want you to know that between you and Jordan Peterson I have totally changed my emotional life. Dr. Conte you have helped me without ever meeting. I have a better relationship with my coworkers ( they dont hide from me anymore ) I have a much better relationship with my wife ( she is truly better than I deserve ) but mostly I have a better relationship with myself. Would it be possible to do a video on how to de-escalate with a spouse who is angry after the initial “heat” of argument? Meaning that long-tail anger the next day. Ways of managing your own internal state and also setting the stage for reconciliation...
I loved your vids on de-escalation and how to behave in a relationship unfortunately I had already not been mindful about that this time and found your videos after.
In one you mention going to bed and resolving the next day... and that would be great to follow up on.

There is something that im not getting,how cant they hurt us? being blamed and yelled at every now and then, it is emotional pain, and some people would even go further and might even physically hurt us, so i cant get it..
