    The gradual exposure really works,
    It really shows you that hey if I go easier on my workout why do I feel less intense symptoms, and gradually just build it up

    This was so helpful, thank you! I was kind of addicted to excercise due to my eating disorder before I got covid. Part of me fears that I will fall into those old patterns and therefore holds me back when increasing movement. Do you have any advice on how to deal with this situation?

    This video helped me quite a bit I think! Been in a loop of doing perhaps a bit too much activity that I am comfortable with and then afterwards a flare up of some days, I feel like I am going nowhere to be honest. But dialing down activity to where I am able to really deeply experience the present moment and actually enjoy the exercise is a way better thing to focus on. No more should I do 10 minutes of walking or perhaps 15 minutes? Or perhaps a rest day today? No thoughts like that anymore, just feeling into the present moment and be there and if that's not possible I just take it slow that day.
    Trial and error right?

      In this life we will suffer, have disappointments, betrayals etc. I am a born again Christian who got CFS, from a bacteria while I was pregnant and on antibiotics for a year, trauma etc was never the same again. Husband had to give up work to look after me and our child. It was horrendous suffering that I did get counselling for. I am 7 years into it and have improved alot but still not living a full life. Trusting God for healing and heeding all the advice and listening to recovery stories. I honestly had to change as a person. I never enjoyed the moment was always 10 steps ahead. Trying for years to calm my nervous system. God bless everyone going through this,it honestly does feel like hell on earth. But I have so much hope. We are strong and we will keep enduring. Let us learn from this illness and be better people.

    Hi Kyle, been watching a lot of your video's and I try to apply the advice that you give so thank you for that. I have the feeling that my work (part time because of CFS) is still to burdening and I'm not healing, on holidays I can use my energy to go outside and do the things you speak about and while i'm not perse healing then, im feeling better inside. I just need the job to come around financially, I am just wondering if I will heal while working and maybe need to take the jump and don't work for some time.

      @life.withkyle  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah I understand the challenge. Unfortunately I can't give you the answer, you'll have to feel into it for yourself, do you have the means to take some time off, if so maybe it's worth it. It can be challenging and maybe bring up stress and fear around the unknown but good to face that. If you can't though because of your life circumstances then it's ok you will still find your way navigating things as they are
      But yeah sometimes we need that jump out of our familiar life to go deeper

    Hi mate, loved this video. Im curious what you think about Joe Dispenza's meditations? Ive heard people have had great results from them, but some of what he says seems a bit woo woo. Also, what are your favourite meditation series on waking up? Cheers

    • @life.withkyle
      @life.withkyle  10 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know his work well. I've heard people mention him to me but I've never read his stuff or done his meditations so can't say much . I've seen a bit of it though and I think it can be helpful for sure but there can be sticking points if we don't adress resistance and thought identification 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️(similar to brain retraining and visualisation/manifestation stuff, it works but we'll get stuck if we done adress the resistance)
      My fav waking up series are probably, Adyashantis sitting in Stillness, all jayasaras series, Jitindryas stuff, Henry shukmans series's. And there's others like stephan bodian, Loch Kelly and Richard lang whose stuff helped as well. All of it is great. Just a lot of the stuff added in the last year I haven't explored

      @owenlloyd593 10 месяцев назад

      @@life.withkyle agreed, I've decided to supplement my normal meditation practice with 10-15 minutes visualization style meditation. My problem with Joe Dispenza is that he seems to focus too much on 'changing' your reality rather than accepting it.
      I love adyashanti's series, I've started going through it a second time now. Also jitindriyas new series is great.

    I’ve found that as I increased activity, my insomnia came back hard. I assume it’s my nervous system reacting to walking more. However the lack of sleep usually kills the next day and I spend more time in bed. When this happens, I obviously do less and am inclined to rest because I’m exhausted.
    It’s tricky, because February I was finally out of bed and moving after 4 months mostly bedbound. The first two weeks were actually wonderful and somewhat refreshing sleep. One I felt better I included the activity and now sleep is poor.
    I can accept sensations most days and simply observe. I understand the concept and have incorrect it into my mindset. The lack of sleep is my biggest challenge.

      i have the same experience. is it better now?

    • @Jackson_Hts_Mr_Randy_Watson
      @Jackson_Hts_Mr_Randy_Watson 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@liviamelanie-awakentolove Not really, however I'm doing so much more than I have prior (physical movement etc.) So I believe this will eventually resolve once my nervous system finally calms down and gets used to the increase in daily activity. I did just have a wonderful 7 day stretch of normal sleep though. So I'm taking the good with the bad. I have no choice.
      I do wish somebody who has recovered could confirm if this is common and if it eventually goes away. Is it part of the healing process? I believe so, but really don't know.
