$40M is way too much salary for the CEO. Greed is the death of the auto industry and forcing electric auto down our throats is too much government intrusion as opposed to what the buyers want. Keep the stick shifts coming.

It's some kind of outdated mythology that one person is worth 40 million because they have some skills that no other person possesses it's simply is mythology. . no one has these magical skills that other people do not also possess

The Hurricane is a throwaway engine by every definition. It doesn’t even come with an Oil Dipstick. These engines do not have the power and torque levels needed for towing and daily work needed for both business and personal al needs. I need a V8 for local towing needs in good and bad weather condition and towing trailers and boats.

The jury is still out on the hurricane, but the inline-6 is a tried and true application. Some of the greatest engines ever made are I6. The Ford 300 comes to mind. No oil dipstick is trend the industry has adopted due to regulation and cost savings.

Another downfall about all the EV crap is they should have never Mandated them only !! That's where the Gov ,EPA ,Screw up on big time at, because you have to have Choices !! And that's some EV'S, more Gas and Hybrid vehicles, and more Internal Combustion engines from 4cyl to 8Cyl's but running on cleaner burning fuels !!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪👍👍

In fact ALL cars are poorly sold at Stellantis. The choice is there but the price/quality are not there. There's only one EV at Stellantis: FIAT e500. It might be cute but it's way overpriced for size and mediocre EV features. That's a tiny vehicle. However most poorly sold vehicles are ICE and large. Why buyer don't purchase them considering the size/features are there? Low quality/high price!

If those vehicles are still on the lots they cannot be called best selling ones. Poor quality with high price were ok for a while for Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz. Not for Stellantis. And by the way, eventually Jaguar is going extinct due to the same reasons.

    • @PissedUAWElectrician
      @PissedUAWElectrician Месяц назад +1

Stellantis didn't take them over. Stellantis was formed out of the merger of FCA and Peugeot (PSA). Since PSA had controlling interest, they renamed the newly formed company Stellantis. And yes the company was already in deep shit before Stellantis was formed. Don't kid yourself.

They would not be in a position where they european company had to take them over to Survive !! But even with that europeans running this company now they are even in worse shape which is just crazy !! Which originally , proves my point as well just horrible decisions !! Like this Company Chrysler under there european boss now Stellantis can't Catch a break !! And that something they better work on or they will be out of business Permanently !!!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

it is easy to fix the big 3 if they only listen to reason at this late stage:
    1. engineer the cars to be durable like the engineering effort applied to the mercedes w123 200D of the 1980s
    2. design and engineer the vehicles to be easily repairable by mechanics and car owners, with complete technical manuals and cheap spare parts
    3. remove executives without an engineering background, including in accounting
    4. sell the inventory at net cost if necessary to clear old inventory and gain brand goodwill and loyalty
    5. concentrate efforts in producing an electric model to compete with tesla and byd

Another main problem among many other problems , with this Company is EV'S or just that new TT Hurricane 6CYI engines , are not going to cut the mustard by themselves !! They Seriously need to bring back a new Hemi V8 engine or new reliable and efficient 32 V Double Overhead Cam V8 engine , as a option for it's V8 Consumers base !! which made up 50% of there Sales ,which is good !! Plus Another bad decision is the TT Hurricane 6CYI engine does not have a basic engine oil dipstick ,which is just is lazy on there part !! And the new TT Hurricane 6CYI engines are having major problems Grenading themselves !! So with these poor decisions and mistakes, it will catch up with you !! Plus, since this company is own by the europeans now Stellantis, it has lost touch with it's American Market Customers Base ,which is not good !!!🤢🤢🤮🤮🪣🪣👎👎

Maybe people are finally paying attention to the bad reviews that Jeep and the Chrysler Pacifica have been getting for quite awhile. Of course lots of people are having trouble with those vehicles and lots of them won't go back (to Stellantis products. ) I think they have some of the the nicest looking vehicles out there, but if a car isn't reliable that kills it.

I think the downturn is going to take a while to repair. I honestly feel like this is a timing issue. They didn’t innovate enough quickly. They had the same exact models on the market for years and now they’re trying to play catch-up by jumping head first into EV’s.

The Chinese and Tesla are coming with EVs that will see ICE cars sitting in the junk yards as battery technology and motors advance to the point of 600-mile range and less than 15-minute charges. It's amazing to see the Chinese car industry as they have devoted a mass of people to engineering and building them. The Japanese came and changed the game and now it's if they can keep the Chinese out.
