Back in the day, you’d unwrap the console, slap in a subpar launch title and be late for work. Now you gotta download the entirety of google all day.
and then if you own a ps4 or ps5 you have to deal with the shitty copying thing that literally redownloads your entire game for no reason like wtf. my xbox doesn't need to copy so why the fuck does my ps4 need to?

It kinda does. When you download a game to your ps4 you essentially download the game twice, then the console figures out what needs to be done and deletes the rest. So a 20gb game will still take those 20gb on the hard drive, but it will need 40 to be downloaded

True. I just bought a Wii U game (not a Wii U) and it did feel oddly soft, unlike the Wii disks, or really any other disk. Why I bought the game, I just bought it because it was Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for 10 dollars. Yes I'm pretty weird.

I bought my PS4 4 years ago during black friday, didn't open it until Christmas day, I was scared it was going to be a shitshow of me waiting for installs and updates, day comes, I'm on my third coffee and already boozed up, I unbox my brand new PS4, I hook it up, skip the connect to the internet stuff, pop in my Bloodborne disc. And it all worked. Like a christmas miracle I got the absolutely classic console experience of just connecting the console and playing right away with no install times. The best game of the gen no less.

Had to buy my 3900x for a $150-200 premium a month or 2 after launch since i had already sold my 2600x and needed a replacement asap. Scalpers are truly the worse. They have been emboldened recently and have been marking up hardware considerably more after the Animal Crossing Switch fiasco. They know desperate gamers will pay the premium. Its sad.

Scott is such a G, the comedic style and quickness reminds me of Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation in the way that it's distinctly his personality and it's always sincere. Like a really good communicator. He's consistent and shit it's like such a refined thing artists like that are rare.

Actualy according to his behind the scenes video on his second channel for a split second u will noticed that he replaced his real switch with a cup and paper that had his switch on it then after hitting it brought back the dock only ans then masked the cup

I didn't get the Switch at launch but I got it on Christmas that year- and boy it felt like launch day for me. Even if I can't afford the system at the time I love watching launch day videos and seeing fans celebrate. It's such a fun and cool feeling. Like I didn't get the Xbox One at launch (got it 2 years later) but damn it was such a fun feeling. Plus it was the first system I bought myself, so it felt even better!
