Atlas: Using EVA Foam for Models

This is what happens when you rush to make a video and it’s too hot out, your workspace is in an uninsulated garage, you put together and try to steam a cloth backdrop, wear a tee shirt instead of your usual tank, and don’t realize the addition of the backdrop throws off the iPad camera’s focus. Oh also no mic so I had to turn up my volume to 200%. BUT ANYWAY here’s a video of the super cool robot I made out of EVA foam. The idea was that it’s used by soldiers to lug around all their heavy gear (hence the name, Atlas) while also offering combat support with a battle rifle and smoke grenades.
