I tried to cover every topic that you would want to know about when choosing where to buy one of these guys from. If there is another topic you wanna know about the Dummy 13's please let me know and I will try to respond!! Also please note that this isn't covering every Dummy 13 and just the 3 companies I bought mine from.

There are many others on Etsy also selling Dummy 13's, they may have different prices from the one I bought but most have great customization options which help prove that they actually print them and aren't drop shipping

For the supposed price of the red one, 70$ USD, you could get a Master Grade or Real Grade gunpla, which is way better than it in quality.

@@P2lex-zy5bw My point isn't that "oh Dummy 13 sucks gunpla good!" It's more so that nobody should be charging 70$ for a model that can be printed for free.

I can be hard to tune the printer to be able to do this.

If you really want a Dummy 13 and can't pay much for a decent one, I'd like to point out if you happen to buy a cheap one, you CAN use the super glue hack to fix loose joints.
I personally got a cheap figure before researching, which is my bad, but you can totally fix the loose joints and have the figure be AMAZING for posing just like a more expensive one. If you've got a ball joint that's loose, put a little super glue on it and just keep moving it around as it dries and make SURE it's dry before you put it down.
It might take a few tiny drops of super glue depending on the looseness but the figure will have stiffer joints you can pose however you want. Another thing I'll say is that the elbow and knee joints are different than other joints on the body and are more risky to use the super glue method on! I assume it's perfectly doable, but it's much easier to accidentally mess up.
I hope this helps anyone with or planning to get a cheaper Dummy 13, but as the video says, it's morally best to get one from a good, professional source.

don't use superglue on joints, use Pledge floor polish. You can apply it without disassembling the joints, just a drop right into the joint, twist it a bit to smear the floor polish around, then let it dry for a few hours. Same effect, no chance of accidentally locking the joint with superglue

Future/Mop-N-Glow… Basically, look for acrylic floor polish, and that should have the same characteristics.
I got a red one for $2 on amazon ($3 with shipping) it took 3 months to arrive( and its 3d printed)in my opinion it was worth it and it was high quality( but its 5.4 inches in my opinion its the perfect size)

Yeah I know. That's why I made this video. If none are official then you've gotta do your own research to make sure you're getting one that's good quality from a trustworthy source. That's why I like getting it from someone you know who 3D printed it themselves like on Etsy. There are also many registered sellers who I believe should be trustworthy.
Yeah he/she only had the model on printables for people to print for free and they didn’t sell it in stores

The one that I bought I bought a 2 pack of white and black from the official store for 25 dollars love it it’s just I got it un builded and it took me 2 hours to build one and the joints are loose but aside from that amazing

34 dollars for an fdm print is insane. At that price it would have to be SLS or at the very least SLA.

i bought one that was 4 dollars and it holds up good BUT some of the parts are coming oof and also mine was also plastic on axe one katana one gun 3 more hands so pretty good
I got one from shoppee and its on china it will took some days to reach your house and next it comes with support and theres a instructions to build and yeah thats only it you can also buy in some of bio so if you want just order it so you cam become happy to the real toy that you want for posing or drawing so just buy the true one guys
For all those wondering don't order the cheap one. Its cheap plastic and mine broke easily

I have solution but risky
Use super glue and a Toothpicks or small wood like toothpick
Find the loosen joint
Disembly the part
Find the Hook joint 🪝 where you put the Ball joint on it and gently use tootpick coated in super glue on the insides hook area and don't use to much of Glue of it
Wait for dry and test it if it still loosen
If not then resembly it and Poses
If characters still fell when posing

Print time is 1-2 hours(maybe more on a slow printer) and material is under 3$ even with high quality filament.
Now adding up the time for assembly and energy, why would anyone buy this for 30$ or even more?
If you buy 10 you could buy your own printer for that money.
Broski.. most people don’t want 10 and even if you do there’s a lot of upkeep and hassle with having a 3D printer. My brother has one and it keeps having issues that he needs to buy something new for or spend time to fix. Some people just want the figure without having to deal with allat.

All of them are made from plastic. Two of them are made on a 3D printer wich uses plastic
Yeah they are all plastic but the cheap one is a cheaper and worse quality plastic from a mold and not 3d printed.
