Wow! Love this. I just printed one scaled to 225% after seeing this Im going to upscale even more. Was worried about puting it together but seeing how you did it and put my mind at rest. Great work.
Thanks for the support. Just remember not to overheat, or it will be too loose. If that happens, apply layers of super glue slowly layer by layer on the affected area
I decided to print my first dummy 13 ( it’s currently going) and I looked for videos on them and this one blew my mind because the most I have ever scaled up a print is 150% ( I’m subing )

I just did one at 200% and had 4 pieces to break. The Frame chest female connector broke while trying to add the head, and 3 of the knee elbow connectors broke while trying to connect one of the knees. The parts that broke were all printed using PETG. I used Glow in the dark PLA for the armor bits. I will use my heat gun on the replacement parts. Thanks for the advice. Cheers!
@@MrCampbellPrints Went great! I overheated one of the leg connections and it was a bit too loose. I just popped it off and reheated it. Closed it up a bit and it stiffened right up. Thanks again!
Was it a matter of enlarging each piece by 750% and print away the pieces? Or was there any changes done to make sure the pieces fit properly afterwards.
That's usually how I do it, but for good measure once you resize, each slicer usually has a tape measure/ruler, check your size constraints at various points to make sure you have good fitment.
Do you think submerging the hinge parts in boiling water could allow the pieces to go together without breaking? Im doing a 500% and less than half of my joints have gone together successfully so far
Not crazy , you will be a pioneer lol. The reason i didn't go past 750 as my p1s couldn't hold anything bigger in one piece if i had a printer with a larger build volume I definitely would go bigger, but if yiu want to maintain strength I would suggest trying not to slice parts and having to rejoin them with glue etc later, if that dose t bother you and it purely a size thing than even on a average build volume print you could go to probably 1600 - 1800 hundred comfortably before part placement becomes an issue
@MrCampbellPrints I will keep you updated. I have some really big printers like the Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. Therefore I will be able to print it that big. I even found a modified chest frame piece, that was especially designed for large scale. (I posted the link in this comment but it seems like the comment was deleted automatically becuase of the external link) This project will take some time but eventually I will upload a video of it and come here again to notify you all :) I have a cooperation with a local business and my plan is to put this in his store. This will definitely attract lots of new customers.
You should have yoused tree supports would have saved some time money and work . (Unless you’re already using tree supports) and what infill% did you use
I think it would the only issue is the weight even at 750% it's not as stable as I would want it to be but that can probably be mitigated by the infill.....so I have just answered my own concerns lol..
It took just under 2kg of pla and 1.5kg of petg but it will depend on the infill and how solid you want it I have also built this with 50% infill and to be honest it's over kill it didn't add anything, if anything it made the model to heavy to stand up on its own
If you use super glue, you have to either disassemble it before applying the glue, or apply it to the joint and keep wiggling the joint until it is completely dry, which takes longer than you think. The better solution is pledge floor wax. You just drop a few drops into the joint while it is still assembled. wiggle the joint to spread it and then let it sit for about 2-3 hours to dry. If its still loose, apply again. Because its not adhesive, you never have to worry about the joint seizing up.... Old trick learned from the Star Wars figures back in the 70's.....

10% she'll and up to 40% on joints, I did 10% on shell but I have also done a shell at 30% but the heavier it gets the more unstable/less possible it is
Now that is a n13 titan if I say to my self and I like how it's big I never saw one maybe you can make a another one and have a stop motion fight just saying for idea
It's not a bad idea, but it's so big and heavy that the limbs don't stay in place, but it is probably down to me just down to me sanding down parts to fit. Thank you for the support
i just see a bunch of people congratulating but no actual ideas on what to do with it if this is 750% scale then it could be used as attack on titan or something???

Yes it was simply scaling each piece to 750%

A heat gun/ hair dryer would be better as you do not want to soften the whole part, just a targeted area

How many walls did you print the frame in? I did four walls but my pieces keep cracking during assembly
2 walls , but if you are struggling with strength in crease infill and orientation of part

You can add a thin lay of Super glue or equivalent and let it dry and keep adding layers
