The production quality from AfreecaTv is consistently over the roof: the interviews, the editing, the behind-the-scenes, ... Bringing the 2 fiancees was a powerful move as well. ASL is such a unique entertainment.
I love the end bit where we can see the players post-tournament. Especially nice to see the runner-up as well. I hope they can all play till their 40s.
What an adventure this season has been! It's been an honor to enjoy along side everyone else - wishing all the best to Tassles and Tosis, Afeeca and all Starcraft:Brood War fans around the world. Hopefully, we will have an equally thrilling ASL 16.
Does have to do with remastered a little, but also, i think JyJ likes going wraith, especially when he feels like his opponent must go wraith, since he's so fast, and this ended up with some mid/late game wraith vs wraith fights, and both sides added valks.
Thanks for this guys. There were a lot of great elements to this championship. Every game, every play was must see. I think this was the most exciting TvT I have ever seen and I have been watching SC since before Tastosis was even a thing. May the Terrans prosper.
Another fantastic ASL filled with surprises. The top level nowadays is just so competitive you never know who will end up winning. Almost no one was thinking Mind or JYJ would be finalists at the start of this ASL. Even with Flash's fabled return I really don't think he's going to be making the grand finals of every ASL in the future. It's never had so many viable contenders to be Champion before.
I just think it's neat how the past 3 ASL's have had 3 different Terrans who won it. Light, Royal, and the winner of this series. If Flash ever returns, he'll have to bring forth some really strong TvT.
There is also a chance that Flash may not be as good as he used to be when he is done his military service. If he even comes back. The crypto scam from last year may possibly keep him from coming back, which honestly, I don't really care if he does or not, don't really have much respect for him after that and what he did the Jangbi

Such an aggressive series! So good. JyJ's expansion and base defense was excellent throughout the series. Amazing use of his extra mineral income. That really created games where Mind was forced to make strong positional plays. It also allowed JyJ to disrupt his opponent. JyJ was strategic while Mind was tactical. Exceptional patience!
Been watching Starcraft since the EVER2008 OSL finals between Best and Julyzerg. I hope I can keep watching this beautiful game for another 20 years. Thank you Tastetosis and ASL.🤘🔥❤️

I realize this a long time after the fact, but was there no third placed match this season? I even tried looking it up with no luck. The playlist had a few missing matches in previous seasons, but I could not find this one. Thanks if you know~
I love everything about starcraft man...energy atmosphere the people the battles the casts the streams and asl is all just the tip of the ice berg of the goods called StarCraft...cheers to all that were involved in making all of this happen❤❤❤

Another season. Another chance gone for Best, Shine, and Rush. I hope to still be here when any of them win the finals. Sadly the JyJ match was spoiled for me so I didnt bother to watch it but at least the finals should be interesting. Mind seems crazy rn. His ability to adapt is really what Best and Rush need more of to make it here. Shines his own thing. Just sadly his bag of tricks had to go against Flash.
2nd all terran final in a row. It was the same back in the pro league days. Terran is and always will be the overpowered race when played it’s potential

23:39, I've always wondered what that graphic means, it's nice that this time it's in English but I kind of figured they were matches, what I don't get is what do the size of the bars mean, what do they measure? It's obviously positive if it's a win and negative if it's a loss but they go from 1-4 on both sides and it's not some way of denoting match scores because you have best of 1s that are either 1 bar or 4 bars and then 2:1, 3:2 and 4:2 are all the same scores.
Sad about the result, but I gotta say this was the best cast from Tastosis in a long time. Less running on each other, less missing stuff all over and random monologues. On point. Keep it up, guys. Long live ASL
Mind playing such high-level Starcraft with nigh-impeccable macro despite being one of the slower players APM wise is very inspiring. During the longer games, he generally drops down to the low 200s, and starts games at around 280-300 APM. His EAPM must be amazing!
While I'm not crazy about a mirror matchup in the final, I am glad it was at least TvT. Most entertaining mirror to watch IMO. Great season of ASL! Thank you Tastosis
did JYJ get overconfident in game 1? It seemed like he was wayyyy ahead and then got up to like a 3k bank while dropping so far in supply randomly its almost like he just stopped macroing for a bit in the middle of the match.
Wins? Then it's three: S13 Light, S14 RoyaL and now S15 JyJ. S14 and S15 was both TvTs and with S12's Rush going 3-4 against Mini, in the last 4 seasons we have had 3 Terran champions and 3 Terran runner-ups! On fire, indeed!
The entire marriage/proposal thing was so awkward and pushed by Park, jfc. But she's cute, and not many people can say they get to propose on TV after winning it big. Grats to them :P Thanks ASL/Tasteosis/Production/Sponsors!
Okay, gotta admit I'm not terribly excited for TvT, but trying to stay positive. S14 Finals TvT was pretty darn good, after all. Let's GO!!!!!!!!!!!! (Edit: Spoilers!) Oh my. JYJ put on a clinic. Mind looked completely unprepared. His micro was fine, but his strategies just weren't on point. Compare this to Ro4 when Mind seemed to be 100% prepared for everything that Best tried. Oh well, as Artosis says, not every match can be excellent. Still an extremely entertaining season overall, and I liked that a lot of the favorites were taken out earlier, giving others a shot at the title. Thanks to Artosis & Tasteless for the great casting!
