This is the information I needed. As I buying the the zve-10 for my parents 50 anniversary celebration. Sigma 16 keeps popping up on my radar. Thanks! 🙏🏽
I have the 56 and 16mm you hit the nail on the head, 16mm for extreme close ups and landscape. 56 for portraits, I get so many compliments on my photos it's ridiculous. Anyway good video.
I often use the 16mm as you can use the stabilisation in camera to crop which then matches the 30mm. It’s pretty much like having 2 in 1! But that being said, I love my sigma 30mm, it’s a banger. Used to use it with my a6000 and it was still unreal.

I just got my ZV E10 and spent the day setting it up and bingeing your videos. I decided on the Sigma 18-50, as a small all-round versatile lens. I would love to see what you think of it. Thanks for the great videos, I love watching your creativity with the smaller cameras.
Hey Teach! Not tardy today. Have been waiting for this video. I've never used a sigma lens before, not even sure why but I may be changing that soon. That full-body stabilization kit was impressive and if you are a criminal use the 56mm so the police can't figure out where you took the photo from hahahaa! Great comparison on these lenses to the kit lens for sure. I grabbed the sony pancake 16mm 2.8 when I got my ZV-E10 just for something inexpensive and wide with a slightly better aperture. Along with that, I have the sony 50 mm 1.8. Tried to keep it under budget since this is my first Sony camera and wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not. There's a definite learning curve for Sony and lenses for it coming from Nikon. Man that bokeh with the Sigma lenses though, whew. Thanks for a great video testing the trio out.
I trying to make a RUclips Channel .. and when i saw 👀 some one on the back of your video I remembered that I have three kids with two cats that i need keep them out the frame and this such a hard work by it self .. damn
When I purchased my ZV-E10, the first lens I purchased was the Sigma 16mm 1.4. I never considered the other lenses, but I may have to reconsider that.👍
when i was deciding which camera to get between 6600 and the 6700, i got lucky on ebay to have these lenses included with 6600 plus other accessories for 1300. i believe it was a steal deal than getting the 6700 itself. i love these trio combo for video and photography...thanks for the review!
Excellent comparative review of the Sigma F1.4 trio versus the Sony ZV-E10 kit lens. I have owned the Sigma F1.4 Trio of lenses along with my Sony A6300 since December 2017 through 2018 when they were all released. They are to this day still the sharpest prime lenses available for Sony APSC cameras.
I know it's over a year old video, but i wonder if you'd know it by now or not. If you want to measure focus distance, you measure it from the sensor to the subject, not the edge of the lense to the subject. That white circle with a line though it on top of the camera on the left side is the sensor depth location, so you use that as a measuring point
I got all my answers without even asking them specifically, thanks man you saved my time.. Great explanatory video... Keep up... You have earned yourself a sub from INDIA
@thefilmalliance this review is soooo good! Thank you for serving all the tests in a structured way! BTW, just bought Sigma 30mm and it's arriving today!
The video was so much informative for me, thanks. If you are a criminal and don't want to show up the background and where you are, then the 56mm would be perfect... It was epic.
Happy New Year, fan of your channel and content. I bought the 16mm 1.4 for the ZV-10 unused and brand new for cooking and indoor content. My question is for a zoom lens what would you recommend? knowing that I will be doing a lot of indoor content. Thanks and keep up the awesome content.
Hello, I know you probably answered this question throughout this video, but am trying to decide between 16MM or the 30. I really needed a night lens, but I mostly shoot landscape and architecture monuments etc, pictures of cities around the world. Up till now, my focus has not really been on portraits, but perhaps I should expand into that area. I am shooting with a A6400, soon hopefully the 6700, so the crop is in play. Would like to choose a lens that is great in low light, but works well with what I primarily take pictures of. Appreciate any professional feedback.

Hi! I purchased ZV-E10 few months ago with basic 16-50 mm kit lens. Overall im satisfied with video capabilities and with photos as well, but that only goes for close ups and my in door needs. Honestly i am disappointed by zooming capabilities for outdoor shots, thats something i understand, i cannot have all in one lens. Could you please recommend me some mid price range lens which would be good for me in terms of upgrading for outdoor photos? All 3 will do a good job, it depends on the kind of look you’re looking for. The 30mm is a good allrounder.
