Another great video James. I would love to see a dedicated color pairings video for dedicated home theater rooms and media rooms. Dark colors to support the best visual light control to maximize projection screen performance. Not just tricorn black and slates of grey, but pallets that can be interesting.
SO thrilled to see white trim and cabinetry with the Greek Villa! I've repainted our laundry room cabinets white and thought, now what for the walls?? It looks like it'll be Greek Villa, and possibly Eucalyptus for an accent wall.

Going with Greek villa as the base of our house color, I was looking at rainwashed for the front door and now I'm thinking possibly a "similar color" (according to sw) as fresh eucalyptus "quietude" for the open closet we'll be doing (same color strip as rainwashed). We have Greek villa on all the walls with the exception of urbane bronze in some accent wall areas.

lol, I haven't even finished the video yet but when you said "Saganaki" my stomach growled. We have an awesome Greek/Italian restaurant here and whenever we go, we ALWAYS get it. Pro Tip - if you're lactose intolerant, but miss eating cheese, it's usually made from goat or sheep milk so give it a go!
I actually just tried Greek Villa for interior repainting, but picked Berh's Sleek White over it. Greek villa was more..idk, tan-ish than I was looking for. Sleek White has a nice depth to the color, weird to say for a white, but I really like it.
There is another sale coming in October.
Any warm white with yellow undertones to go with violet accent wall. Santorini has cobalt blue domes with very bold white. I loved going there
Greek Villa with High Reflective White trim and cabinets throughout the home are most beautiful! It does not chage throughout, it stays consistant. Lots of compliments. Clean and fresh.

Me too! I’m so indecisive. I’ve narrowed it down to off-white and not a bold color. But which off-white? I need an off white that will complement my orangy knotty pine tongue and groove ceilings and some walls. Hmmm is Greek Villa the one? I need to narrow it down to 3 to test and get it done already 😅

@@leticiavillarreal3689 Snowbound gets my vote if it looks good in your space. I don’t think Agreeable gray is an off-white and that’s what you said you want. Good to only start with two so you don’t get overwhelmed and spend more money than you need to, If you don’t LOVE either keep looking.

I love them both too but Roman Column picked up the green from trees and grass outside and turned into a yellow green on the walls.

Hello, what ceiling color goes with Greek villa walls & trim? I’m thinking of going Greek villa everything- walls, doors, trim. Should I paint my ceiling Greek villa also (flat) or should I go with high reflective white, white dove, or pure white?

I have a weird question. Recently, I put together a Pinterest to gather together my current, visceral, attraction to colors, in order to figure out the direction I want to go after 13 years of living with a deep red & white color scheme. Surprisingly, I found my self drawn to a natural stone I had never even heard of: Aventurine. Specifically the very light, almost translucent, green Aventurine. How would one go about recreating that kind of color on a wall? Bring Aventurine stone to a paint store? An how to get that almost translucent effect? Use a semi-gloss and cover it with some kind of glaze? If any Paint People sees this and has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Do you think high gloss chantilly lace white paint on ceiling can make ceiling look higher? I was thinking the high reflection might give the illusion of height, because low 8ft ceilings. Thanks!
Your enquiry is 5 months old, so I'm sure you've painted your ceiling by now. It's never recommended to use high gloss on ceilings, for a multitude of reasons. Matte finish on ceilings is the way to go.

I have walnut baseboards, so I didn't paint them. However, the crown moulding was a sickly tan. I painted both the walls and crown moulding with Greek Villa. Looks really good.
What is the undertone for the Greek Villa? I can't decide on my screen if it's gray or has a slight bluish hint. And what do all these paints SMELL like? I have to avoid VOCs if at all possible. Last time I was in a painted room I felt sick afterwards for months and I have two elderly pets to consider.
In our well lit kitchen, Greek villa has a warm yellow/brown undertone. It pairs surprisingly well with light grey and marble!

I guess you already painted by now, but Ecos paint is the best paint for those who are chemically sensitive.

I would never go to Greece or make it my honeymoon designation. The color itself though is a very nice warm neutral white leaning on the cream side.

SW paint stinks. Kelly Moore is the way to go. Lower VOC
