I have Alabaster (flat) throughout my new build house including baseboards. In my south facing master bedroom, I have a charcoal color fabric bed frame, black dressers & nightstands and and I'm considering black drapes. Should I paint an accent wall behind the headboard, if so what color please? Black drapes?? Thank you
my cabinets are westhighland white. not at the wall painting stage yet. Cabinets are still being made.
Exterior buildings farm house barn arena would you suggest alabaster with natural wood tones
I was saw a home and they said alabaster, white Sherman, Williams. And they took it to Benjamin moore for them to copy that color. it was so beautiful white. I want white outside and it had a black trim. Do you recommend that for outside?
I ordered kitchen cabinets from a local cabinet maker. Of the colors they had available in white I chose what they listed as SW Serenity (Maple Serenity). When I told the designer I would want to paint the trim & interior doors in that same Serenity color (open concept) she gave me a small cabinet sample & said take it to any paint store & they could match it. Well it seems that Sherwin Williams no longer makes this kitchen cabinet color. The closest color I could find was their Alabaster. And that’s just going off a peel & stick sample. Is there anyone who can tell me if the Alabaster is the same as their old color Serenity? Where can I find this out?

Are there any warm white paint colors Jacob recommends for dark rooms/homes that are poorly lit and have a lot of warm colors (dark walnut cabinets, brown countertops, dark flooring)? I've binge watched dozens of his videos reviewing different white, off-white, cream, etc. colors and every one he says they won't work in poorly lit environment. :(

My house is painted in BM Chantilly Lace. I think it is the whitest white that resembles a white primer or white piece of office paper. IDK if that comes across like that on this video. Knowing what I have it doesn't look the same. Wanted to share with others looking for a true white. No gray and no warmth. White as office copy paper.

I just want a color for the whole house that will go or tone with everything all carpets, all accent wall. Can you suggest one. It’s a small house quite dark so want something light

What do you think of SW Alabaster and what is your experience with SW Alabaster?
Used Alabaster as main interior wall color in a 30,000SF retail store (northern climate, minimal windows and LED lighting). Received many compliments. Just the right amount of warmth to overcome bare concrete polished floors.
Also used Alabaster to repaint my kitchen cabinets + hallways and trim woodwork many years ago. The creamy or yellow undertone is very noticeable (in a good way).
It's a beautiful color, but wouldn't work for me. Your mention of the effect of green trees as an exterior element made me think of when I first moved into my high-rise condo. I immediately had it painted a light beige. I always had beige before, so I thought it would be nice. But, I hadn't taken into account that there are orange-ish tan brick exterior walls outside. The effect of the reflection from the brick was to make the beige walls look pink-organish. That was as you would say a "costly mistake". Since then, I've only had the walls painted paints in the grey family, and have been happy with that.

Looks a bit too gray in my low light bedroom.
I bought alabaster but when compared with the cardboard sampler it looked whiter and the salesperson told because it was printed on cardboard. Is that possible? Or maybe he did it wrong? Is there any way to find out?
Or maybe he did not check all the colours were full before preparing the mix?
