Sorry about that. It had to be under a minute. But here is a video I go into more detail: Shower Not Getting Hot Enough. Adjust water temperature valve. Kohler. ruclips.net/video/Llezcif8c04/видео.html
I want to know what happens when it starts off hot then after a minute or two gets tepid then cold Spirit upon being turned off the heat somehow builds up we can get another few minutes of hot water before we have to turn it off and wait for it somehow heat up again
@@TryThisDIYFix so that there is no limit to the hot water. The person using the shower valve uses their preferred hot water temp. I have a delta single handle shower valve that would not even get comfortably warm and would go cold after about 5 minutes. After I took it out not only does the water get as hot as it should but it also will stay warm as long as the water heater has hot water. Every time I have installed shower valves for customers that have a limiter I often always get a call back within a couple weeks saying that their new shower valve doesn't get hot water like their last valve did so I have to go take out the limiter. I now and have for some time told my customers that the limiters are super fucking gay and recommend to take it out just so that I don't have to go back and waiste my time and gas and money. Back to the customer using their preferred temp hot water, they know how to use a shower valve so they don't just turn it all the way to the hot side. They have bathed themselves for years using countless different valves for tubs and showers. They are fully aware of how to adjust their preferred temp. Great video worked as instructed finally got some decent hot water!
That’s awesome. I’m glad it helped!
More helpful than the official Kohler video . “Just turn the tab counter clockwise”-that’s it! Thank you!
You got it! I’m glad it helped!
Worked for me! No more cold showers in the winter, thanks bro 🤙🏽
You got it! Thanks for letting me know! Feel free to subscribe for more helpful videos.
I did this and the shower exploded and I have water filling my bathroom up. Was I supposed to turn the water off?? I followed this step by step
Wow, sorry about that! I didn’t turn the water off. It must have been something else that did that. It could have been the freeze.
Thank you
You are welcome!
You were too fast. You did not show how to move the orange. Does the orange need to be pushed or pulled ?

Didn’t show us how to pop that tab, the most important part of the project.
Sorry about that. Most of them you just pop it out to move it.
What if it’s very old?
@@Cali_909 you can adjust it or get a new one.

Hmm. That sounds like a problem with your hot water heater.
😮😮Deep plate in that wall it’s supposed to be installed flush with the finished wall. 😅
Hmmm. I’ll look into that. Thanks!
This is how a Kohler cartage is adjusted 😁not all are done like this
Yes that’s correct! Thanks.
