Oh my gosh I have searched the world over for anything with grandpa Davis in it thank you for posting. If you have any thing else with grandpa Davis in it please post. Thank you
A shame that so much audio is missing. I love to see the early years of SDC. I can remember going to SDC with my folks about mid sixties and "grew up" there through the years. Raised my kids, and my grandkids in the streets, rides, and craftsmen of SDC. So many great memories!
My family sold her baskets when she first opened and continued up through the 2000's. Gibson baskets.
Silver Dollar City used to be a lot better than it is now, with a Western town and gunfights, a saloon, etc. My grandfather sold his two mules, Sam and Jake, to SDC and they pulled the stagecoach ride. They were mean mules, though, and used to chase us kids around when we were at Grandpa's farm.
By the looks of the people walking by, i would say that this is 1968 or 69
I WOULD SAY 1971
This is definitely not 1960. I would guess the mid to late 1960s. The hair and clothing are wrong for 1960.
She mentions 1963 as a year in the past so this video is later than 1960
Mary!
