We all find theme parks amazing but this goes to show that the natural world is even more awesome! It reminds me of the cave tour we did in Nottingham, England. There is a whole city of caves under the modern city. I was surprised you didn’t wear hard hats though as we had to to in Nottingham.

That was great!! My wife and I were just at SDC back in late November. It had been about 37 years since I had been there. I went in the cave back then and this video brought back a bunch of memories. I am a transplant survivor and due to the medications I am on I can no longer go into caves so we were not able to go in this time. Thanks for this video and the others I have watched they are all great.

Anyone visiting Silver Dollar City- if the weather gets bad, this is a fantastic way to cool down or warm up. It's about 55-60ºF year round. ^^

I went on the tour about 25 years ago when I was around 5. I remember certain parts pretty well and other parts not so much (sadly, the cathedral room is one of the spaces I remember the least), but what I do remember was awesome. I recently got to go in Linville Cavern, which is nice but nowhere near as impressive. I still have my carved horse from the gift shop. I'd love to go again someday.

Been through marvel cave at least a dozen times. When weather is wet waterfall room is closed and you take a higher route out that passes by a log cabin that the author of Shepard of the Hills used to stay in.
The geologist in me is a little jealous, but the old large person in me is glad it's you and not me. :)

Do you have to bring bottle of water to hydrate? Is Marvel Cave the MCU version of the Batcave? Do you get to be a Marvel hero when you get through the cave? Banks Lee is the real name of the Spelunker!

NGL, a tad bit disappointed there was nothing about MARVEL in there...
no one but tourists/visitors and the navigable anchour
The anchour was a pedestrian. No superheroes.
You know, if you can see out of the top of the cave before you even get onto the mine train that will then go up and take you out...then why can't they cut some stairs up and out of that side in the event the train stalls like they said it does sometimes ? I mean if you can see the sky from that point,then it cannot be all that far. It would sure beat having to go back the way you came. I wish I had done this tour when I visited SDC in 2013 with my family, but my mom wouldn't have been able to do it and my nephew was too young. But mamas passed and I'd like to take my nephew back and do it with him next time.

None of the relatives of Walt Disney or Stan Lee fabricated the cave.
That's not the cave I've been to one overcast Friday in MO. I forgot what that cave is dubbed.
