I had the pleasure to receive some lessons from Nigel, many years ago, at the Cheltenham Lute Society Festival. I never had a better teacher and his instructions still work on my lute playing.

Nigel can hold the lute any way he likes. I think most lutenists would die to have the tone he produces.
