It seems like the question is always "why do women keep saying there are no good men?". Here's why women keep ASSUMING that. We're all stuck in this sick standards cycle. 90% of the time, when you ask someone what they want or need in a partner, they give you a list of "standards" that characterize someone "better than themselves" per se. As much as we would love to deny that, its true. 90% of the time the person that does check all our boxes, has even greater standards; they're not even looking our direction. So we get mad when the man WE want doesn't want us back. Call them "no good" men because they can't see the rest of the value in us. Yet that's what we probably just finished doing to the last guy we thought didn't meet our "standards". Maybe we need to drop the word standards and ask, "what morals and values do you look for in a partner. What does your soul require/desire in a parnter. A lot of people are extremely shallow and are too coward to admit it. Then here we are trying to crack a code, when it really just is the generation of inauthenticity and indecisiveness. Frankly, most of the time our standards aren't even ours. They're an idea formed by the media, one that's constantly changing, ones that's never ending. There are men out here saying "i like them natural" thanks to people like kendrick, but what they really want to say is " i want a girl that has a butt like Nikki, i just rather it be natural". Just too coward to admit it, because they wanna keep up a nice, cool, hip, kendrick look.
Nailed it. Values are bigger than whatever fake standards the media is programming people with. TV, Facebook, and Instagram idealizations are a cancer. The trick though is being honest with yourself about your value standards. You may end up having to compromise somewhere because the ideal mate is a myth. Maybe the compromise is a standards "range"? @@user-ik5ze1sh7i As women in the dating world are aging so are the men. Also, most older men don't care about "eggs" especially since they don't want to start over raising kids. The problem with career-wise successful women is three-fold: 1. They naturally look for a partner who's at least as successful as they are or more so 2. Men don't factor in career success as a desireable trait when looking for a partner - they couldn't care less if you're a CEO. 3. It takes time to build up a career success - maybe the prime years of your life and men value youth and fertility. This narrows both the potential pool of partners to a tiny minority of men who often have their pick of women and puts time constrains on.
Great that this discussion is taking place. I always remind myself: (1) just as I regards myself to be a descent person there are also brothers out there who are descent. (2) it is impotant that I love myself before I can love anyone else. (3) Loving myself includes ensuring that I have me time each day to meditate, excercise, sauna, massage, read, preparing and eating healthy meals etc. (4) person development to deal with issues from childhood and past relationships to ensure that I do not take these issues into a new relationship. (5) Pursuit my passion in life this is also part of loving myself. (6) Not to settle for any brother just for the sake of having a relationship. I would rather be single and be happy than be unhappy in a relationship. (7) It is impotant to be clear about what your potential partner should have such as ambition, honesty, leads a healthy life, works out at the gym, religious belief etc. Basically be clear what is a deal breaker. I my humble opinion I would not engage in sexual activity unless i'm married to the person. Sex is more than a physical act. Angela is doing a great job. I also like stephan's work.
I liked how she challanged you guys with these questions! Love it, good perspective turn around for a female interview you guys ☺ Angela Yee never disappoints 👑
LluviaLuna13 Yeah, that's what makes a poor guest but that's understandable with Angela Yee. Man or woman, even if you are more seasoned in that industry it's highly disrespectful and unprofessional to "interview" the hosts. If the reverse had happened t a female host, a large number of women would get upset and fell she was being "talked over". But it's a women so the behavior is her being "strong". Look at it objectively and she was a poor guest. But they'll learn.
Great post! I can appreciate you both for this interview with Angela. Contrary opinions make for meaningful discussion. Fellas slow down on the intro. We are here for the whole video ❤
The constant in this interview is the difference of opinion between the genders. This is why relationships are harder to maintain due to the lack of compassion for the other side. There’s a tug of war emotionally due to not hitting the deeper levels of the two sides. This interview is a great start!
Dont feel bad Hafeez, I get loud too and I hate when I'm excited or upset and someone tells me to lower my voice like... WHY?! This is part of the emotion 😂❤
When a woman is successful in her 30s or 40s and has no children it's SO HARD to find a successful man that's also never been married and has no kids. It's just a numbers game and by 30-40 most successful men are/have been married and have a kid or two. It sucks.
@@TheRoommatesPodcast Look at the numbers, finding a successful man over 30 with no kids and has never been married is tough. Be honest. You two aren't even 30, haven't reached a level of success your proud of, and will probably have a kid before you reach 30. It is what it is.
Definitely, I don't think older childless women should count men out who have progressed at a reasonable time set. It's counts too many men out, it's ideal not realistic.

Her maturity was needed. I like their energy; however, she was able to bring out areas of opportunity for these cats to grow: lying by omission, the housekeeper seeker( which he never stated his role in that), and just being hesitant to state preferences regarding women. I loved that she kept reiterating, "You don't have to lie anymore." Great guest!
Started off as a really great conversation, I really enjoyed the part about both parties needing to put actual effort and being proactive about meeting people while not approaching things from a mindset of disqualifying potential partners based off of shallow and arbitrary preferences or alternatively forcing a connection to see how things develop naturally with time. I think the flow got consistently side-tracked at times so the cohesion was less than optimal. I think with a multi person podcast like this, one of y’all have to step up and direct the conversation a bit more, because I feel like a lot of super interesting discussion points were missed. Don’t be afraid to speak how you feel, I think I’m the long-run it will make for much more genuine and interesting conversations, whereas if you say part of how you feel in a very unconfident way it makes your arguments come across as weaker.

Thank you Angela for bringing this accurate perspective and being the voice for us women! Love Angela she’s so down to earth! Angela killed this interview, she addressed everything I wanted to express! Also, I do feel like looks and things are relative! Microwave analogy was good! The mistakes most women have a problem with are cheating, disrespect, not doing your part in the household and dishonesty.
As Stephan says ‘arguing is not ok, disagreement is ok’ and I agree. I dated a guy with sometimes loud personality, aka passionate and I loved it but when you try to argue with that tone it is disrespectful. Because men are usually already dominant and when you mix passion with negativity and harsh words it is perceived as forceful domination. Everyone has to watch their tone and keep the respect up when they r having disagreements. That might mean to cool off first and THEN have a productive conversation.

This narrows both the potential pool of partners to a tiny minority of men who often have their pick of women and puts time constrains on.

“Females,” why not just say “women?” I mean a giraffe can be female.
Cuz they would be talkin about any other female.
Because whole guys tey to call themselves women
But you knew what he was talking about though, try not being a nitpicker.
This made me giggle
It was Angie saying “ your getting loud” for me. 😂😂😂😂
A successfull woman and man is someone who loves God and if lead, they leave a legacy of Christ like character and goodness.

Thats a very romantic notion felip
Yes!!!
Angela was right when she said if a person likes you or loves you they will accept your flaws
I liked how she challanged you guys with these questions! Love it, good perspective turn around for a female interview you guys ☺ Angela Yee never disappoints 👑
She is good.
Facts💯✔
Thanks.
The constant in this interview is the difference of opinion between the genders. This is why relationships are harder to maintain due to the lack of compassion for the other side. There’s a tug of war emotionally due to not hitting the deeper levels of the two sides. This interview is a great start!
This went from an interview to an interrogation 😂👍🏽
Who are you telling.
@@TheRoommatesPodcast You guys dodged and ducked them questions well though 🤣🏃💨
Way to finesse that question about the female touch at the beginning bro lol!
Haha had to lol

Dont feel bad Hafeez, I get loud too and I hate when I'm excited or upset and someone tells me to lower my voice like... WHY?! This is part of the emotion 😂❤
Lol, thanks.

When a woman is successful in her 30s or 40s and has no children it's SO HARD to find a successful man that's also never been married and has no kids. It's just a numbers game and by 30-40 most successful men are/have been married and have a kid or two. It sucks.
It's not all.
This is the best one I've seen so far. She's a great guest this was very entertaining.
Omg! This episode is poppin' There's chemistry, charisma, fun all in one. Yall gotta bring her back ❤️
Thank you for interviewing her on this topic because she is amazing 🙌 shout out to y'all for recognizing and love your work 💖 mad love from New Zealand/Tonga
Brilliant! First of all guys, your candidness is remarkable and commendable! For me this was a great appetizer! It felt like you were just starting to touch some sensitive points, but you overcame your embarrassment, and you delved! I really look forward to have more of these kind of conversations, where they can further develop to meaningful and deeper places, where you and the guests open up more and figure out more stuff! Great job! Loved it.
Thanks so much.
I’m so proud of you guys! 🙌🏽 Doing big things 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I’ll definitely be joining the patreon!
Thanks for joining.
I like that and agree, "Product and Placement" is needed to have success in getting what we want.
I love Stephan Labossiere
He is the best.
Yooo Angela gave y’all all the smoke! And y’all were not ready 🤣🤣🤣
Shut the hell up
Chris Belger why so serious 🤣🤣

11:52 Rather be single than in a miserable relationship. That is very true
She is awesome!! Speaking some serious truth. Thanks for bringing her on.
Loved this interview, Angela knows ❤️
She is god.
You guys podcast is amazing! I tune in as much as I can and I always learn something new each time! Keep up the great work my brothers!💯
Preciate it.
Angela yee is so funny!! Great show.
A true comedian.
Yessss Ang! Spot on!
She is real good.
Oh God!! Such an interview!
Thanks
I love how she sits there so content while she pretty much interrogates these men to tell her their lies!!! 😂🤣
Just fell in love with Angela Yee! Yass girl! Super smart and Quick wit! Way to represent for the women! #nomorelies #thataintyomamaontheotherline 🤣🤣🤣 #stilllovebelow 🥰
She is real great.
@KoKo ChaneLL Fuck you bitch
I wanna see a special edition 3 part podcast series with Hafeez, Chris, and Yee
That would be a great one.
Angela had y’all hot with those questions 😩😂😂 on here skrippin lol

Much respect to Angela Yee for representing for women 💚 Confident, engaging, and intelligent.
Shut the hell up
She is great.
When will you represent for women?
This was gold 😂😂
Thanks
Ángela didn’t give much insight. Only threw constant shade.
YESSSSS I LOVE ANGELA!! SHE'S AMAZING! AND LOVE HER MORE AFTER THIS SHOW! sorry for all caps, that's just how much I loved her in this lol
Great show Guys.......
Thanks
Angela Yee is killin the game! Love this conversation
This just makes me want to listen to Black Phillip or Tom Leykis
EXACTLY....Angela Yee is the worst at giving advice to women about men. She's the Queen of female apologists.
Thank You 👍🏻
yall takin my life and edges in 2019. bless up! this is awesome
lol
I like how fun Angela made this interview. People talk shit about how she's "just there" on the Breakfast Club, but that's not true at all. She's very witty and slick with the jokes. She definitely showed that here. She's on the BC for a reason. She's very good at what she does.
She's gathering Intel, like, "Hi, I'm blah blah blah, Tell me if you lied...."
She did a nice interview of you two. Cuz she knows....men like to give women what they want.
She set up the arms length with the room mates right away.
I really like the way Angie is standing her ground. All I know is if we stay as a united front, men will have no choice but to shape up!
I hopse sos sis
Angela just checked you guys and you weren’t ready. That maturity difference is real evident 😂😂😂
This show bring on the women that perfectly represent the reason why I am MGTOW for life!
These dudes are so lame. She deflected and projected the whole interview.
@@bigbiz800 Because they have no balls to ask good questions and refer to statistics why women reject good men in favour of constant validation online and marrying government while chasing carrer when biological cloak is ticking.
Yes she was awful.
“I’m not a 4. I’m not going to disrespect my mama like that.” 😂😂😂
I've always heard more so about money. "If I make 140k he should at least make 155k"
True.
Good episode, content, interview method + flow of conversation, Angie works both sides well, you go girl!
Dope interview 💯🙌🏾😎
Thanks :)
This episode was really interesting to watch, love it.
I love Angela ! I wish you guys talked about aging. As women age their sexual market value declines. As for a man as a he becomes resourceful his sexual market value increases. So young women are the prize and resourceful men are the prize.
Great interview/convo! That was my first time hearing her really talk and she’s pretty cool. Nice job guys! 👏🏿👏🏿
I can see why she's a radio personality. She could make anything controversial if she wanted too and twist it perfectly 😂
Cake metaphor was exquisite 👌🏽
Wait, I thought Angela was interviewing y'all. Whoops, my bad.
Lol
Angela hit a home run 🏃♀️ why most women are single. An I really appreciate these men putting in all this work an effort an accountability especially for being young
Is this Angie’s show or The Roommates show?
Thank you Angela for bringing this accurate perspective and being the voice for us women! Love Angela she’s so down to earth! Angela killed this interview, she addressed everything I wanted to express! Also, I do feel like looks and things are relative! Microwave analogy was good! The mistakes most women have a problem with are cheating, disrespect, not doing your part in the household and dishonesty.
Your intro got a new subbie 😭👌
Thanks for the support.
The Roommates Podcast no problem keep up the good work.
I’M SO DEAD HE SAID COOKING AND CLEANING UP! 😂🤣⚰️💀👩🏾🍳👨🏿🍳🧽🧼
I know right there is more to us as women besides being domestic. Also the house work in my opinion should be shared.
Angela owned this..!!!.hahaha..
