The eternal problem of not having assistant is real though, I feel your pain, Jamie 😅
Nevertheless you still able to film most of bts 🙌🏻

My favorites of this episode are: 2-6-12-15-19-26-30-32-34-36-40-41-46 - 47 & 49. And my top five are: 49 - 19 - 26 - 36 & 40. Maybe it is my eyes accustomed to film, but for me, even in a tiny screen of a phone, digital and film are very different. And some films have a very characteristic look. For me, B&W films are difficult to differentiate, but they are very difficult to confuse with a digital B&W photo. So maybe is just the impulse of the people to no let enjoy things to other people. A very good and legitimate use for the AI could be a mini cameraman drone. But on second thought, a friendly assistant is better.

Ha, I would probably take the AI drone for now, but yes, a real person almost certainly seems like a wiser option. Also, I agree: I can usually tell if something is film or digital, even on a small phone. I feel like most people who are strong in the "you can't tell" mindset just aren't experienced enough yet, aren't paying attention or don't understand the true properties of film and digital anyway. And even if they somehow find a way to truly replicate the look, I *still* strongly prefer the experience of using film over digital in all but reportage cases (and even then, I'd rather use film overall). Thanks again for a great comment and for watching!

I really understand the headache and heartache of not having a proper assistant. It really makes things tough. I love #36.....I felt a strong siren or mermaid element to this shoot. I would have like to see some shots in the water but it was probably freezing and the dress was too nice to ruin. Holly found a lot a natural "dancing" poses which are always amazing to see! Well shot. The Catlabs shots are my favourite. How do you like the Kentmere 100 and 400? I think they are perfect stocks when you want to do creative editing.

Thank you! And yeah ... it was ok to get some dirt and water on it, but it would have been a bit much for it to get in the water ... if it were warm enough. But I definitely want to do something like that. ha ha. Holly is a great dancer, but can't do a ton beyond the posing because of a nagging leg injury, Still, good for photos! I really like the Kentmere, especially for the price. It pushes to 1600 super well in 510 Pyro (will find out if I still think that tomorrow), and the Catlabs looks amazing 510 Pyro. That definitely needs to be a video soon ...

I agree. Number 49 is a winner. Your video seems sharper here. Have you changed cameras?

Thank you! Interesting ... I have started shooting in a 4:30 ratio on my GoPro, and have started uploading in 4k, so maybe that's contributing.
