When I updated my Tesla Model 3 this morning, I noticed on release notes, it just said, Veichle improvements and didn't say what had actually changed... Thinking it was just bug fixes I did some digging and actually we have quite a big update to the cameras!

Yes that’s right. I never got the .6 or .7 update
What I want to see is the improvement of map navigation, especially when it is displaying many roads on the map and becomes confusing about which route to drive to. Google Maps does a better job of handling this situation
Yeah it would be good if they added Google maps
They use google maps. But a dumbed down version. It should zoom in and out based on your speed and intersection approach. Should show stop signs and lights half the time mine says unnamed road. When it’s a well know road to turn on to.
Yes, it requires better zoom-in at junctions etc
Leave out the background music - it is very distracting for some people - like me, making it difficult to follow whatever it was you were saying.

Yes, mix it down a wee. Maybe half of what it is. A little music makes sense it’s just a touch loud.
couple updates ago there was huge difference normal cruise control, it slows down, SO much and too early when arriving roundabouts or t crossings, made me to stop using it in city... Let see if this fix the functionality... thank you for your good videos @MBrown

Thank you for doing the video on the refinements. Nothing wrong with the short but sweet format.
The OTA updates are something we Tesla owners (almost) take for granted, but they are really pretty amazing. In every other car I’ve owned, once it’s driven off the assembly line, that’s it - short of buying accessories and parts to modify the vehicle, it just stays exactly that same vehicle.
I really love the OTA updates - it like getting a steady stream of presents!

I find out that, since the last update, the GPS makes weird suggestions. Since last update the GPS sent you to the nearest supercharger even with a full battery.

This update ruins cruise control. Lots of braking events happening for no reason now for lots of people.
I notice the same thing. It seems that the navigation locks on to adjacent roads and picks up speed limit from that one and rerouting constantly.

Funnily enough I did first long journey today in about 5 weeks and was quite surprised that three or four times on the motorway my model Y got spooked and braked quite heavily for no reason. People behind must have wondered what I had in my coffee! I am on 2023.32.6 though. Not had the update available message for this yet.
So at the same time there is all this hype about full self driving and we can't get rid of the damn phantom braking????

I’m in Miami FL, just got the update showing tomorrow morning when I wake up km excited and hoping the camera will be better. My right one turns purple constantly and Tesla said it’s an update issue and not hardware. Also at night they don’t look the best so we shall see.

Hmm, I updated my Model 3 several days ago to 2023.32.6 and noticed the changes you described with that. Wonder what the difference is between .6 and .9?

I heard from an Uber driver that one of the updates broke the radio and removed autodrive, so I have been avoiding them like the plague. Do you know what update they were referring to?
I don't think what he told you is true. Autopilot has never been removed from my experience, or the radio.
No change in parking that I could see.

The change to the camera white balance is a great addition. More natural images and Sentry mode is much more effective at night now.

The supercharger at the carpark at the Trafford Centre is in a really inconvenient location. It took me 30 minutes to wait because of the long queue in the car park.
