You don’t really want to disable the OSD warnings for flight time but adjust the values to be better suited to the flight time you get with the batteries you use the most. The settings for that are on the OSD tab to the right of the page.
Use molicell 3s pack(21700) and use 2213 920kv motor and 10inch props give you 55 minute flight time dear . But you have to make the frame from 1/2 inch hollow almunium arms and carbon fiber base plate custom.... .
@@grekiki carbon tubes cost more . 100 times costlier than almunium square hollow tube . My 10 inch quard is 800gm only . Not need such a robust structure , almunium can handle it very smoothly.
@@chainbenwa2713 It's actually a huge difference damn near double the energy density for the best capacity cells and for high current cells it's still well over a 50% improvement but, you need to make them yourself if you don't want to spend $100+ on a pack that still doesn't have the latest and greatest cells.
Does anyone know what they are talking about? Yes, they have a low C rating, meaning not a ton of power, but this is a 10" drone after all, so yes, a Li-Ion that goes down to 2.7v per cell safely could have achieved 35 - 40 minutes flying the way he was.
@@nathanminten You mean destroying your battery?. I've tested many lipos and liions. All of my liions can't even maintain hover at 3.5 V, the voltage sag so bad that the cells reach 2.5V and the esc just shut itself. Is liion good? Yes IF you have many cells parallel like on e-Bike, E-scooter, and Electric Cars. If you just have like 1-4 parallel, Lipo is better
You can change your timer and battery capacity warnings in the OSD tab in betaflight. You'll see on the right-hand side an alarm and timer heading. Just set them to whatever you want
Honestly flight time is not a very useful metric. Slap a GPS on this bad boy and you'll get flight distance. But carrying a 833 grams of battery using only 20% throttle is pretty impressive! This means it would also fly great using 6s2p 21700 LiIon Pack. That would be about 10 000 mAh and 840 grams.
What about to try li-ion battery? Your amp draw is low so that must bee perfect. And you can let the voltage drop under 3v pr cell. Im using li-ion on fpv fixed wing and are happy with thouse batterys.
I bought this portable one: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdXoyw5 Seems to work OK but I don't know how to use it fully yet. Maybe 75% of my welds are OK, other times it won't weld or other times it burns through
@@hoardersam10 Thanks, i will try another spot welder then. I will solder my first pack. Just making two 3 cell packs and use then in paralell and series. Depend what im using them on. I will try it on an iflight evo 5 ". Then i get 4000mW 6 cell.
Just a note nickel strips are pretty limited with current carrying capacity. Generally 0.3mmx7mm strip carries max 10 amps safely so multi stacking strips is necessary. Best to use 14awg wire or braid.
Stock betaflight PID. I started out conservative with 0.5 master multiplier, but I eventually bumped it to .75 and back up to 1.0 (stock) and it flew best that way
@@hoardersam10 okay cool. I saw multiple people saying that they couldn't ever get a 10-in to fly correctly no matter what they did so I was concerned it was going to be difficult to tune.
Really? You said you wanted to do a proper torture test... and you landed with 3.7 volts per cell, totally negating the entire test because it didn't tell us anything...
Hi,sorry to ask you again but i love fpv drones but itas really expensive and rare to find in my country 😭 and also i am unable to buy it if it's exesable. So could you pleas give away a beginner fpv redy to fly kit ❤ .love from pakistan and if you willing to send me a RTF kit i will take full responsibility of shipping ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Sam's beginning to get the appreciation he deserves. He's gone from 3.75k subs to 3.81k subs in a couple hours today. Go Sam!
Finally, long endurance video without destroying the battery, I am sick of those video where they permanantly damage their lipo/liion
You’re so wrong dude 😂

Shouldn’t you be using li ion cells for long duration flight ?
They’re a little better but a lot of lipos aren’t too far behind

how much it would give if we add up 2kg payload? and what is the total weight of body including battery

Can’t wait to see this build with dji setup tbh
So cool I cant wait to build one.

Yo alibaba sells drones like these now at 200-400$
These batteries are on Amazon as well.
Can you use the most efficient battery possible and do a hovering flight time test ?
I do want to try a large li-ion pack but they are very expensive, more expensive than the drone itself 😅
can you do a hovering test?
also can you mention the drone speed?
Can you give some basic information on your tune?

I think you should try it with some li-ion cells, that's gonna be interesting
This frame was designed to be both top and bottom. Good think you saved that frame from spreading any more human suffering except for the wallet.
