When soldering something, the biggest problem for me is usually the parts coming apart due to the connectors being held by cheap plastic that is easily melted by heat. Really makes for a bad day.

I think the weird lines you're seeing when you're close to yourself has to do with the amount of power this thing is putting out. I'd be curious to see if they went away when you lower the power. If they don't go away, then maybe you're right about it switching to the omni.

Betaflight allows you to create your own tables for your vtxs. Maybe that could help with the 48-channels limitation?

Using pigtails above 3w usually blows the amplifier. It ends up only outputting 500mw. A swr above 1.6 will blow it. Its better to use a direct antenna connection.

You need to try the Ratel Pro camera, still happy with the regular Ratels, but the pro does have a better picture, my older goggles never looked so good.

I'm closely following this series. Your first video inspired me to finally start building my own drone FPV any chances of doing this same build but with Ardupilot? I would love to build mine with Ardupilot instead of Beta Flight... I got almost everything from the last video except for the FC stack.. I think Ardupilot might be able to work on F4 or F7 stacks but I haven't really put time to research this and confirm it.

does the BLS-45A wire make a difference with BLS-50A? I'm looking to buy one from amazon for its relatively quicker delivery dates and I couldn't find the -45A one.
