Same exact model/combo I got, I came from a discontinued x9d and this transmitter is mindblowing to me lol. Its crazy it can run the same OS, but have so many more options/features. Make sure to tune your RF frequency!

I agree with you. But, even though ELRS receivers are "cheap", the 4in1 Radiomaster receivers are 1/3~1/2 the price of the ELRS receivers, at only $8~$11 instead of $15~$40. I'd go ELRS too, but the big beefy alumin ELRS module is 1W with a 2W hack, versus the internal ELRS module is 250mW max. So, going with the internal 4in1 module and an external $100 ELRS 1W~2W module or external $40 1W ELRS module is a great option too!
I just ordered the same transmitter on Carbon Red!! 4 in 1 and ordered the Elrs module. I recommend a receiver tray so you can fly more precisely.. I got the combo tray from flying tiger 🐅.

You can use 2s Lipo battery with it

Mainly heli, but for now I've only bound a couple UMX planes to it for testing. The audio callouts are new to me and I like it!
Don't come with batteries because they are shipped internationally. Batteries are classified as dangerous goods In alot of countries.
