Good stuff. I actually started doing this way after I watched your last video. Like you said, it’s doable, but I personally couldn’t click with that way. I was also relatively new to leverless at the time. Didn’t play nearly as much SF6 as I wanted to last year, but I’m not making the same mistake in year two.
How do you avoid the "new" SOCD rules resulting in a neutral input when you go from upforward to down? From what I understand in your video, you're basically saying upforward -> qcb as soon as possible, but I either get a neutral input instead of down or I delay and it's a jump apex dive kick.
I tried this method just after your stream yesterday but i can´t really see why i should use this instead of just a regular qcb+k motion right after the forward jump. It feels more consistent as it´s easier to do for me.
@@Chris_F Do I play Cammy? Check. Do I use leverless? Check. Have I been struggling, as we speak, with instant divekick? Check. You: "I sense a disturbance in the force."
This is the best input I've found so far, thanks a lot!
Glad I could help you out!
I was JUST looking into instant dive kicks! Perfect timing
Glad I could help!
Definitely helped, this method worked flawlessly, great stuff!
Glad it helped!
this is exactly how i do it cause it the way i learned to tiger knee i didnt know you could half circle
Finally I’ve been looking for that lol. I always miss it and sometimes I play modern and still be negative when blocked lol

I'm using the same input (reverse) for Chun-Li instant air Hyakuretsukyaku. As you said, on leverless it is not uncommon to miss the diagonal input !
I was searching exactly the method to do it, thanks a lot from Hong Kong :)
My pleasure! I’ve always wanted to to visit HK
Will see if this works for Jamie. I’d like to get my dive kicks more consistent
Let me know if it does!
Gonna try this now ! thx
what a good guide is! It works! thank you!
Thanks!!
Got to try it today with jamie and it’s soo goood
Happy to help!

You need a neutral input after upforward first
How do you do it with a jump forward
This is with a forward jump

My thoughts are that this method eliminates any chance of missing a diagonal input which is a common issue on leverless controllers
What if I am on a mixbox or wasd movement.
Then you have to do it the standard input way
@@Chris_F Oh well

Anti dee jay bro please!! great job btw, ty.
Thx!
It's like you are reading my mind. Get out my head @Chris_F
