I even splurged on a Mayflash F500 fighting stick for my PC and upgraded all the components with Sanwa parts and a bat top for the stick to match what was on the old SF2 arcade cabinets. I'm what some may consider "old", since I played the original SF1 and SF2 as a kid in the arcades back in the 80s and 90s. Cammy has been in my Top 3 favorite characters (along with Ken and Guile) since her debut in Super SF2. After SF6 launched and I decided to make Cammy my main, I've been working very hard trying to get my skills back up to where they were years ago. Your video has been one of the best I've watched to help me do just that, and I will watch it again and again to help me practice. Thanks a lot for this. Sincerely, a middle-aged gamer.
Really like your way of explaining characters and their tools with actual knowledge, instead of simply show combo routes like usually great majority does, simple and short, but really good to grasp the concepts on the character. i think you are judging it based of already a SF player. someone new would have hard time understanding what he showed. so a slow paced guide has its own usage.

As a cammy player, for any new Cammy players here, shes punished pretty heavily when it comes to scaling on her CA3. HP into CA3, does more dmg than crHP, HP, dr cancel, Crhp, HP, CA3.

I haven’t played a fighting game since the mortal combat game on ps2 that had that story for Lu kang I think that’s his name it was pretty cool lol. Just the art style of SF6 appealed to me and the characters are pretty cool that’s why I bought it. I even got a new fight stick cause I just can’t play on a pad, my thumbs are too slow to do combos so I have to do this weird claw thing and it’s hard being accurate with such tiny buttons. Anyways you shouldn’t feel too bad at least your better than someone out there lol.
I never understood why people pull the plug when they're losing to artificially inflate their rank. Eventually you'll come up against people that you have no chance of winning against, making the game just frustrating.

I like that Cammy has multiple ways of escaping the corner. In a more extreme situation where you’re in burnout and they’re on top of you, and you don’t want to commit to throw, jab into lift combination, and you get to switch sides with hooligan strike or just do a j. HP at the beginning of your jump arc. I like the latter because it’s more damage, easy to do, and honestly feels a little bit easier timing a meaty afterwards, having 13 frames of advantage.
That JP DC did not count as a win, you can see your 2, 3, 4-win streak increasing after each won match (going with 2 win-streak into the Gief match, increasing to 4 going into the match with JP). However, after the JP match the win-streak stays at 4, it would increase to 5 if that counted as a win. Weird how placement match counter still increased though.
Sf 6 is gonna be my first sf and I'm planning to play keyboard. Is it ok or is it gonna hold me back in the long run (possible to reach master ?) if so what would you recommend playing on ? thx
Is the rank system in SF6 separeted for each character? For example, you get to platinum using Cammy and then you switched to Ken, you still be considered as a Platinum player? P.S. Nephew, thx for info in this video.
in some situations if you have enough advantage you can still choose to block, i also think they need to already be buffering dp in order to react even if it's not real

Not a lot of characters have normals that are actually plus. You're going to have to shorten your block strings. This isn't SFV, get used to the new system.
Her only plus normal is her crouching heavy punch. Other than that, you need to somewhat rely on drive rush to add more plus frames to your attacks or whiff punish your opponent to get something started. It does feel like this is a nerf from SF5, thankfully most characters are like that too.
I got this game when it first came out but only recently started playing it. Im trying to learn to play with Cammy but I fail in executing even the basic of combos. How do u combo with Cammy so flawlessly? I am playing on console using the normal controller on the ps5
@@ahjsan_fgc5554 agreed. I have started to get the hang of some of the combos. Cleared the beginner and intermediate combo trials. I have also cleared a few of the advanced combos and am beginning to get used to it. It's still tough though. I feel u have to be very precise with your inputs.

Practice! I did the character guide and pushed through the combo trials to get an idea of how to make combos. Just practice you’ll get it!
