- After a good night’s sleep at a hotel, Mark heads to pick up some donuts and coffee for breakfast in a great mood. But when he spots something special on the menu, he realizes he has to get Scott over there immediately! Scott, touched by the fact that Mark clearly misses him already, rushes to PVDonuts in Providence, Rhode Island to discover the pizza donut! Will this donut follow Mark’s strict formula for pizza? Does Mark’s newfound enthusiasm mean that there’s another pizza road trip with Scott in the future?
What makes a pizza, a pizza? Lucali owner and old-school Brooklyn pizzaiolo Mark Iacono has a strict pizza formula: sauce, cheese, and dough. That’s it. But renowned pizza enthusiast Scott Wiener believes that the beauty of the slice comes from its creative customizability; even if it’s topped with cheeseburgers or constructed with paella. Scott travels all over America to spotlight the country’s most unique pies and make a case for whether these new customizations can, in fact, still be considered a pizza. This time, he’s taking Mark along for the ride on an East Coast road trip to try the craziest concoctions claiming to be pizza... but are they really dough?

It's not a pizza! The dough's structure is nothing like pizza dough, it's more like pastry dough. If this is pizza, then the pizza bagel and french bread pizza are pizza!!!!

I genuinely love you guys. This series, whether its entirely scripted, slightly scripted, or not scripted at all, is so fun to watch. You guys have great chemistry as friends and it definitely shows in the videos.
Not gonna lie, i love every effects and edits on the "how to make the pizza" scenes in every videos. It's just really unique, creative and entertaining for me :D it's quiet funny sometimes as well.

This is the best of all worlds. Calzone style filling with the sauce in the center. Light doughy texture of a doughnut. Typical pizza ingredients on top. This invention is like what Blade is to vampires. All of their strengths. None of their weaknesses. 10/10 invention.

Mark has really come a long way ... I remember when the pizza bagel wasn't a pizza because "a bagel is a bagel" and that didn't count as a dough base. Now he's bending the rules for donuts.
This series is now more of making Scott believe its pizza than just making Mark believe it! And I love it!
