He seems such a beautiful soul, hope everything works out well for him. The music at the end of the video, when he locks the door, makes it feel like you have visited somewhere very special.

What an accomplishment and learning experience. Congratulations. Now...sanding walls in preparation for painting and floors for finishing? Never a dull moment when creating a "home". Your energy is truly amazing to watch. Thank you for allowing me "in".

Nice job with the floor! Enjoy the feeling of having it done. That's a very special place you have there. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Well done, the floor looks amazing! You should be very proud of all that really hard work. It’s nice that family came to give you a helping hand. It will leave a lasting imprint on your home. Years to come you will suddenly recall all that hard work and the family there helping out. A fitting legacy to add to the history of the building. I look forward to the next project, it’s a pity it can’t be something to try and warm the inside of the cabin. It’s certainly a cold place to be working in! As always your video was beautifully shot.❤

Cela ressemble à nos hivers canadiens. Ce sera agréable de vivre en hiver dans ce beau coin de pays. Impossible de s'ennuyer avec tant de choses à s'occuper. Quand on aime le travail manuel, c'est l'endroit rêvé.

Hi, don't knock the water storage for the fire. My Aunt had one and it gets very hot. I had to add cold water to my bowl before I could wash. The floor looks so good and will last another 80 yrs.😊

You've done a splendid job on the floor. I really admire your attitude about old buildings....putting back the trim under the door ...and the window looks good...alot of hard work went into that. You have alot of patience but I'm sure the old building will thankyou. Too bad about the water tank...is there anyway you can modify it.

Hi Marcus, I've just been watching your future planes for the cabin, but I'm not able to comment,
I agree with you putting the downstairs toilet in the cupboard. People may feel a little embarrassed if your bathroom is next to your front room,
    Also, for the upstairs extension,
Why not lose a bedroom and use that as the bathroom?
You will still have 2 bedrooms with the extension,
I was just thinking out loud and thought to mention it,
    Best wishes
    Lesley.

Well done on getting all the floor boards back in, a lot of hard work. They would look great sanded. A lot of people make a natural stain, using a mix of linseed oil & turpentine to protect the floor.

It would be interesting to know how long the smaller cabin has been there, it does seem much older. I really like the look inside. I think every bit you do will help getting through winter, it would be tragic for something to give way just before you can get to it.👍

Snyggt jobbat!
