I’m an American who just made this for my Ghanaian boyfriend and he LOVES it!!! Thank you so much for sharing these recipes for people like me who know little about Ghanaian food ☺️
Gosh, African cuisine is soooo rich! Forget about fries and burgers, this is heavenly! I ll give it a shot one of these days. I will have to give it to the West Africans, their food is more diversified than that in the Est Africa, and it has that African touch to it, love it!
I am so touched by the way you cook!!! Your respect and care for each ingredient, your enthusiasm. Spiritual. It is spiritual!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge practice with us. Sending love!!
And they say no one is perfect? You are perfection , eloquence ,precision, intelligence beauty and a badass cook all wrapped in a beautiful bow package. This okro recipe is fast and looks dangerously delicious.i love it Thank u my very eloquent and elegant master chef. #NUMBERONEFAN
No matter where you are in the world, there’s just one time when you miss African food! 😝🥰😋 Back In Tanzania 🇹🇿 we call it Bamia mixing with pumpkin leaves! 😋😋
This is my very favorite food channel. My son is 5, and my daughter is 6, and we bond watching you bring together lovely ingredients. I can't wait to try this one!
Am 12yrs old and am a Ghanaian, u have inspired me in all ur food recipes my father and mother have traveled and am home alone with my oldest sister but she won't cook so I searched for how to make okro stew and I saw this so I hope when I try it works thank u miss nana
You have such a lovely diction and provided very clear instructions. I am convinced that I must cook this at home! I have never tried it before. Thanks! 😋😋😋
This okra is loaded with particulars 🤣🤣🤣. I love the addition of seafood, spinach and bell pepper to it, makes it so healthy and could drink a whole big bowl. Thank you for sharing sis 🤤🤤❤❤
Amazing recipe If you are reading this just know that you are blessed. Amazing and beautiful don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I wish all your dreams would come true just as I want all my youtube dreams to come true thank you
Dear Nanaba, I would like to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for you channel. My life has changed with your receipes especially this very one and the fresh tilapia soup. My next trip to Ghana, I will do my best to meet you. God bless you endlessly, Amen 🤲🏾
I wish I was your neighbor too, then I could exchange my Pakistani recipes with you 😀. I watched your channel first time today. Your food is mouth watering. I’m going to try your recipes. I just hope they come out just like yours.
Oh my God, I have to make these!!! I love how you make all natural seasonings/cured proteins and fresh ingredients. Please include the link for your beautiful pots also, love them both! Thank you for the great video.
Delicious recipe! I used chicken and smoked tuna for the protein and it still came out delicious. Thank you...okro has always been daunting for me to cook until now!
A few non traditional ingredients like the bell pepper and the spinach. The ewe tribe traditional way is to use Ademe (jute leaves) or Yevu Gboma (waterleaf) but she used Spinach WHICH IS FINE. A slightly altered recipe but still very good. The bell pepper is a modern twist and I like seeing modern takes on traditional recipes. Auntie gets my stamp of approval 👍👍👍🇬🇭🇹🇬🇳🇬
You served it the way we in Barbados served our cou-cou. What you called okra stew we call okra slouch. Looks delicious. It seems that although other generations have no knowledge of our African descent certain cultures although they might have slightly different methods and names have been handed down by our ancestors .
Thank you I love it I'll like to taste it ,the video was a lil bit low so some of the ingredients was not heard ,I'll like to try this at home for my self when I do I don't think I'll need and rice or flour in there just a lil green fig will do yummmy ,I'll like to get the ingredients again
My desendants are from Africa. I love African food 🥑🥝🥝. It's so good. African American black people get on it. All the food is not processed like American food. It's real and good. Word
