You made exactly the same video with just a different game which was Bionic Commando. These are JB PS3 games, not ISO PS3 games.

copy iso into ps3iso (it looks like a blu-raydisk icon) in HHD00 from flash drive in multiman file browser then refresh in the games tab in xmb section of multiman then triangle on game then load the game shold then load on reg xmb then play if it doesnt work try having a game disk in the diskdrive. Cheers!

This is the second video I've watched from you that has an incorrect title. Just like in the previous video I watched, you're showing how to play PS3 "Folder Games." Folder Games are not ISO files. ISO files are completely different and need to be installed differently so that the PS3 and Multiman will recognize them.
He said exfat, the PS3 doesn't see exfat. I think he meant fat32.

YOU SAVED ME!!! I was trying so hard to play spiderman the web of shadows again, the ps3 doesn't read the game anymore (I even tried with another copy of the game, but didn't work either), I suppose they simply shutted it down, but now I can play again, I'm so excited!!!

@@tinynolife it seems like the game isn't supported anymore (officially), but if you use multiman and grab the iso files or pkg it works
Damn thats so weird sounds like the discs nuked themselves its not only you having the issue it sounds like. That should be investigated i feel like.

@@SwitchAzlain its how it's meant to work. Intuitively we think clicking the game starts the game. But actually clicking the game returns you to the main menu, BUT the home menu thinks there's a game disk inserted, which is the game selected by multiman. So There is no "Fix", it's the way it works (my guess is there's technical reasons why it needs to be done this way).

Thanks, I'm new to this ... yesterday I set out to hack it and it worked. Although there were games that I wanted and were not in the pirate store. I had to download them in iso. I didn't know what to do until I saw your video. You helped me a lot! you are a genious!

I found it complicated and difficult, this method is much easier
I think there is not convenient way to transfer heavy pkg files, unless you got a good connection and transfer it via FTP

Hey James I followed your tutorial on HFW installation and have been waiting since then to find out what I can do with this hack . But despite telling us that future videos would include more tutorials on the HFW you've focused on the full blown CFW even going so far as to convert the HFW PS3 into CFW and all uploads regarding the full jailbreak which I can't do on my ps3 as it is non compatible! So may I make a request that you upload a tutorial on how to remove the HFW as I can't see the benefit of having it on my ps3!
yeah....it's like here ...non moddable Ps3's you can now install HFW but only that.......you have to figure out yourself what is it!CEX-DEX BEX MEX TEX:)))
if you have MultiMan you can transfer games to ps3's HDD via FileZilla with FTP and without using a USB Drive.
How come, so we do that in the ps3 itself?

no, you should install multiman it has the FTP sever but the transfer will be slow over wifi you can use ethernet cable for fast transfer

You showed us how to HFW our PS3.......BUT how to transfer larger PKG files (+4gb)?.......i know on DEX PS3 you have the PS3Splitter that splits large PKGs to smaller files that you transfer through USB flash drive! Some HFW videos would be nice on ''How to'' !!

One question after i copy the game to the ps3 hard drive can i delete the game off my usb so i can save space cause i have a usb thats 16 gb and a got a game thats 12 gbs so i have no space left for more games so i wanted to know if i can delete the game off my usb and ill still have the game on the ps3

Hi. Informative vid, but most games are much larger than the one you`re demoing with. What to do when there are files that exceed 4gig in the "PS3_GAME" folder? And for those wondering, double-click on the ISO to get the files he`s referring to / using.
Multiman, Webman, and Irisman can use NTFS instead of the default format (FAT32) to overcome the limitation of files having to be less than 4GB to transfer them normally.
FTP them over to your console, I'm pretty sure multiman has a built in FTP server those days

i formatted the flash drive to exFAT and the ps3 did not recognize it. It only recognizes FAT32 and FAT32 has a 4gb limit. im kinda stuck

Ive watched this back in 2021 and i learned a lot like you can't put 4gb+ games in a fat 32 usb drive and it won't read any NTFS hard drive or exfat to your ps3 you need cobra stuff and other homebrew

The title says how to play off of USB too. But you simply just say not to. How can you get it to play off the usb?
This helps now i gotta see if i can make it work lol i got close to 300 Ps3 games and 250 PS2 games.. And I've alredy discover a few don't work anymore when i tried to play them..it sucks.
Question what happens when you backup games too your external,then your PS3 breaks so you decide too buy another PS3 too hack then you put your external HDD in just too find that your backups don't show in multiman🤔
Your title says PS3 ISO games but you only show how to copy the backup date, not how to install from an ISO.
Does it work the same with HEN? I Want to mod my ps 3 and HEN seems easy compared to jailbreak
I am having a trouble when launching from multiman and returning to xmb, but then the game does not appear in game folder.

Either way, I got it working somehow and have no idea how I did it.
At the beginning, I had to do that, and when inserting a random game disc, it would read the downloaded game through that disc or something.
Basically, it emulated the disc reading function.
I remember something about a setting I had to change, then it no longer needed that.
But that's info for an old cfw and you shouldn't have issues nowadays, I hope.

I bought a jail broken ps3 for my kid, and the ps3 had HEN, multiman and webman installed. Now what he had done always allowed me to play the backed up or copied games in the ps3 hdd direcly via the xmb as they appeared under the games. But a few weeks ago the hdd went bust so I had the ps3 jailbroken from someone else now what he did would only allow me to play the games once I enable HEN, then go into Multiman and from there load the game and then it would appear in the xmb and from there again I had to select and play the game. So can you tell me how to make all my copied games appear on XMB and play them directly.

3000 and 4000 models you can only do HFW. You can put Multiman on them though, just no CFW

In multiman for persona 5 it said i need a pre processing for persona 5 and install it to my ps3 hdd which my hdd space is not enough what do i do since a usb is the only storage that have enough space for persona 5

Hi mate...thank you for your tips...but in order to install multiMAN on your PS3, can this be done via a usb cable (e.g. downloading multiman on your pc, then transferring it to your ps3???)
That would not work. You'd need a usb drive for that
can't you launch the game directly from multiman instead of going back to xmb and launching it again ?

Most games are usually over 4gigs
Use a splitter, that should work :)
But the games I have are just .iso files and they don't actually consist of any of these folders
