The person who invented those pads and glue deserves a medal, it’s fantastic. And I am totally addicted to this channel. Wondering what happened to the cows before this great chap arrived on the scene !!!
HGP collaborated with a company to create the green glue. ❤❤
Suffering and probably put down for ‘lameness’.
Chapstick?
I can sympathise fully with this poor girl. I have a progressive degenerative joint disease. My left foot is literally how you described the inside of her foot! On an X-ray all the bones in my foot are fully and semi- fused together and the connective tissues are all over the place. So, what I’m getting at here is …….. I want a block too please!!
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry your foot is so painful.
May God bless you with some kind of relief! 🙏
The poor girl!
That claw reminded me of my childhood cat’s claws. They were not shaped right. My cat couldn’t retract them, and he kept getting infections under the claws.
The Vet suggested declawing, and we agreed. My cat, a kitten back then, went from wanting to be carried constantly and laying in his bed all day to rambunctious and crazy active kitten once he healed. His paws didn’t hurt anymore.
I’m against declawing for the most part but there are situations when it’s needed, and I accept that.
Another good reason for it is in cases of extra toes, when the claw in question is causing injury to the toe next door.
I do wonder if it might be possible to remove the affected claw entirely though.
@@QueenSunstar yes it is possible to remove the claw, and in some cases it is done. He has an older video showing a cow who had an amputation. In this case, they may have decided against it, the farmer and the vet I mean, because it may be able to be managed without it.
I do sympathise with you but I think that you’d have to grow two more legs to get comfortable with a block. Good luck with your journey xx
So glad Graeme and Craigie Boy are there to being relief and get this cow's hoof trimmed properly.
I have found myself obsessed with watching your videos ever since I discovered your channel about 3 weeks ago. I get sucked into each and every video. I have even found myself wanting to learn more about what you do day in and day out. I spent 10 years as a vet tech for small animal clinics but never got the chance to work with larger animals. I am amazed at how knowledgeable you are in your field of work. Mad props, my friend! Keep up the awesome work making these animals' lives much more comfortable. ❤❤
Unfortunately though, I find them to be just too short . But either way yes they are awesome and super addictive to watch. I am at the point of going back to the older stuff and watching them again
I agree. I was hooked from the first video I watched a while ago. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Fell int9 this RUclips rabbit hole during pandemic 😆 still watching!
Me too
Welcome to the herd! Bunch of us have been here from nearly the beginning and I think a lot of us were sent here during the pandemic. I hope you have a lovely experience because the Hoof GP is a really wonderful human.
Whoever is running your camera on this one deserves some praise. Those angles were hard to get at And they did a great job!!
Probably Cragie-boy... ❤
Probably Craig.
I’m a retired RN (47 years) how I found this channel boggles my mind but I find myself addicted to watching Graeme fix these poor girls feet !
Please, please fix all of them. Thank you, very interesting 😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
I, too, watch the Hoof GP, I think it’s because Graeme loves what he does and we see him doing it so well.
Isn’t it not legal to retire at the age you’re saying you are? Or is it just where your from.
It looked like you were carving on a petrified coconut with a dull pen knife! It looked a lot better when you were done. Kudos!
PETRIFIED COCONUT HAHAHA
I’d just like to say that I’m always annoyed by “click bait” titles/thumbnails/video intros. I love that you’re not posting “click bait”, you’re actually making truthful comments, overviews and predictions for the videos you post. Thank you for being so straight forward on your channel. It just shows that you care more about providing educational and interesting videos and not just doing this for “likes”.
Very much this about "click bait" titles. Keep it honest!
It is written in a clickbait way, but it also is truthful, so I suppose it's a bit of both. But truthful clickbait is better than lying
There is something very satisfying about seeing the misshapen and overgrown claws cut away and neatly trimmed. 🙂 this cow even seemed to understand that you were making her feel better, she never seemed to complain about the crush or your handling👍🏻
I really want to commend you on how much you care about these cows shows that it's not just a job. I see how compassionate you are and how caring you are with these beautiful animals
im a city boy, mathematician, and rocket/laser research sorta guy,,,,but im watching your work and dont understand it all but the part i do understand is that you have a tenderness and caring for these creatures,,,and your work is surely a miracle come to life in most of these cases,,,,,thank you for doing what you can, and having the skills to know what is required,,,,my hat is off to you in a big big way,,,,bill in alabama
Cheeky monkey! Bless her heart...she stood for you trimming her hoof on the floor of the crush. She didn't even offer to kick out. Thanks for what you boys do!
My uncle's have cows 🐄. I told them about you. Last I saw them, they remarked much they learned a 6:46 fter watching your videos . I had horses but watch your video every time I get a chance..daily. Lily Florida USA 🇺🇸
Every cow, bull or heifer that goes through your crush is helped & loved by all of you. They ALL walk away maybe not healed but much better than when they entered. You all are amazing. I’m from Birmingham and rule of thumb not many Cattle live in Birmingham. Your videos are eye openers for us big city dwellers.😊
Fascinating trim! I love that Graeme was trying to get her to move and she looked round as if to say "excuse you?"
My daughter wants to go into animal help one day. She’s been adamant about it for years. She’s still too young for a particular focus. So I’ve been using your videos to show her that proper animal care is real, important, gross, tedious, and unfortunately sometimes ineffective. But it can also be oh so gratifying when done right.
Poor girl!!! I can't imagine the pain she's been in!!! How very very sad!!! You did a great job with what you had to work with!!! Continued prayers!!! Stay blessed!!! Love you guys so much!!!🥰💖❤️🤗
It probably doesn’t hurt that much actually
Hopefully this cows owner when the cow passes away can donate that foot to have a college like study it. And have it as a anatomy case study. Such a unique hoof.
Love watching you, Craig and Kevin. I'm in South Africa. Only seen your old videos. Nice to catch the new ones. Just a house wife that enjoys you looking after the cows feet
No such thing as 'just a housewife' Politician, events manager, diplomat, chef, domestics service manager, chauffeur, fashion adviser, first aider.....should I continue? Pat yourself on the back please 👏
@@AK20741 I wanted to write something to comment on the 'just a housewife', but you've done it to perfection🙂
@@piaogilvie8463 Thankyou. 😊 Women are extraordinary aren't they? So many get little credit 💐
Wonderful comment. As a housewife myself, it made my day
I am speechless and amazed at how you are trying to fix her hoof thanks Graham
Craigie Boy IS awesome! 👏👏😃 So is the care you guys give these lovely cows❣️Well done, gentlemen! 👍👏😍
When u brought her foot down and took as much as you could off and out of that crack my first words were "Wow that's freaking beautiful it looks like it's gonna heal nicely." I know it will never be normal again but Graeme u have the magic touch when it comes to hooves❤
You are without a doubt a master of the craft. Your caring attitude and skillful hands should be praised. I know that the cows eventually enjoy being pain free and I hope the farmers realize you saved their investment and a valued member of their family.
I think we need to start the support group. I'm obsessed, too. Can I say I just love listening to you and Kevboy and craigy boy. Hoof gp family ❤
I love watching you work. My ex was a hoof trimmer and it reminds me of listening to his day and the Scottish accent is an awesome bonus
I just love how you make the cows more comfortable
Wow, you did such an awesome job of managing this cow’s deformed hoof. It looks way better and she looks so comfortable walking after your trim! Love your videos!
The reason why I enjoy watching your show is because you are a very good person 😃
Her hoof looked so painful to walk on prior to her trim. Afterwards, you cleaned it up tremendously.
You do such wonderful work. All of you guys seem to really care about the well-being of the animal, which is so genuine and heartfelt.
Keep up the great work !!!❤ from Florida
Hi Graham and Craig I watch all your videos and your explanations are spot on but can I just your 2 very likeable true Scottish lads doing a grand job proud of your work and you make me extremely proud the way you represent Scotland and the farming industry.
As my late father would say honourable men you can trust .
Eva /West Lothian 👏👏👍🏼
Craigyboy living his best life helping Graeme with cows so the cows can live their best life.
Uncomfortableness! 😆 🤣. Thank you Craigie-Boy for making a good day even better. Please keep me updated on her progress. Great hoofing considering her deformity.
Graeme you do an awesome job on any cow you come across!! It’s fascinating to watch a cow go from really bad feet to good feet after your trimming. Well done. I’m sure the cows are very grateful!!
I'm always humbled by the care and attention you show these animals... I mean even craigy's deserve love right 🤷♀️🤣
(Sorry Craig 😊)
You Sir are an incredible caring creative man ty 4 taking care of the animals.
Always fun to look in on what you and Craig are doing and what a great friendship you two have. Cheers boys!
They're in-laws too 😊
Sooo glad she's in your care. God bless you & Craig.
Thanks for another great video 😊 I do miss your intro music though. I posted a few weeks ago that I had purchased a couple of t shirts for my husband who was in Pendleside Hospice. He wore them proudly. My husband Allan passed a few weeks ago and I just wanted to give the hospice staff a shout out for the fantastic care they provided to my husband, and also towards me.. thank you Pendleside! Lancashire xx
Great job! Your compassion for the animals comes through with every trim - Well done.
Some days I swear I am the same. English may be my first language but pronunciation or just finding the word my brain searches for is just not possible! Thank you so much for brightening my day and that little cows day too!
She’s such a beautiful girl…and so sad she’s struggling with that hoof!
I hope that between you, the farmer and the vet, something can be done, so that her condition can be managed at least!
Greetings and love from Seattle. 🙂
You’ve done a great job getting this foot to some level of comfort. This damage is not going to improve greatly, just important to keep her pain free to continue production at her best rate. If I were a heifer, I’d be quite happy after that manicure!
It is an art, and speaks to your skill, that you make this look easy! More than once I've found myself thinking, "I could do this! I SHOULD do this." And then I remember that if this video has smell-o-vision I'd change my mind...and that's before I consider the depth and breadth of knowledge you've had to accumulate to do this well. Thank you for the videos!
I'm always impressed by the amount of care you bring to these cows.
Uncomfortableness is the new "purple burglar alarm."
Love your channel!
I loved watching you hold the camera while trimming up the inside top of that hoof towards the end of the video - you are clearly watching your work work, not your camera work, and that's great. The fact that she stood is also fantastic to see - she was absolutely comfortable with all of your interferance. Great job!
You are so kind and gentle when you work on their hooves. Love seeing you & Craigie Boy banter! Love your videos!🩵😊🩵
According to the Bible God says:
"Behold, this is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom I am well pleased. I will put My Spirit upon Him and He will declare justice to the nations. Matthew 12:18
Jesus is not God, not even the Son of God!
Jesus was a prophet and not God!
Now when the people saw the sign that Jesus did, they said, "Truly this is the prophet who is to come into the world." John 6:14
Jesus is said to have helped a woman. In Mark 7:26, the woman is said to be a Greek, where the same woman in Matthew 15:21-22 is a Canaanite'in (Syrian Palestinian)!
One event, but two different statements??? God's book is supposed to have errors?
Jesus said, “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent me. “John 5:29, 6:38
Pig in the Bible
" and the pig, for though it divides the hoof, thus making a split hoof, it does not chew cud, it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh nor touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you."!!!! Leviticus 11:7-8

I invite all non-Muslims to Islam.
After Jesus comes a prophet!
" But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the (c)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;… I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you."
John 16:7-9, 12-14
"Right," said Jesus; "After all, it is already written, "The stone that the builders threw away because they considered it useless has now become the foundation stone of the whole house. What no one thought possible, God is doing before your eyes.' Therefore I say to you: The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who obey God. Whoever does not reckon with God must fail, and whoever rebels against God, God will destroy."
Matthew 21:42-44
The verses are about the "Paraclete" in the original Greek, which means "Ahmad" in Arabic. Muhammed (as.) is also in the Bible as you see. Jesus brought only one book, where do these others come from? If there is no prophet, where did the New Testament come from???
Today's Bible is not one book, but a collection of 66 different books!
39 Old Testament and 27 New. The books of the Bible were written over a period of 1500 years, by more than 40 scribes, most of whom did not know each other! Old Testament: Hebrew, partly Aramaic; the New Testament: Greek.
Can ever a messenger doubt God?
If Jesus is God, (according to the lies of the devil and his followers) why does he need help from God if he is God?
" Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" Matthew 27: 45-46

I am constantly amazed by your skills and in the making of small miracles for these cows. This episode is remarkable...I didn't think anything could make that cow's hoof look and function within the range of normal...but you did it. Thank you for making this cow's life a lot easier!
Do you suppose a WaterPik (dental cleaning device) could help clean out those deeper wounds? The spray is pretty gentle but very focused.
Or maybe get a pulses lavage system like they use to clean wounds on humans.
Sorry for suggesting. I’m a retired RN and CWS (Certified Wound Specialist). Always trying to find a better way to care for wounds.
I absolutely love theses video's. You guys are wonderful. Craig is stealing the show. Love listening to you all talking, singing and dancing.
I'm amazed by all of these videos, and the amazing job that you do with all of the cattle that have gone through your crush. When they get out and turn back to look at you feels like they are saying thank you. It's awesome. Thank you!
You have a very mesmerizing voice when telling all about what you are doing. I love the stories. Just recently about your new funny looking dog, the maine coone 😂😂😂i think your Mrs HGP (Ashley) is a real Cutie. My sister, her hubs and i and a smattering of reletive will be in your neck of the woods in about 2 yrs. We've been planning for 5 yrs. I hope we can all meet at some pub or eatery and become friends. And of course any time you guys and gals are near Lexington Virginian, you will be our guests.
Glad you finally figured out the word discomfort lol. I was watching thinking it's discomfort. I like the words you and Craig were creating.
Craig’s a BEAST!!💜🤍💛
It’s amazing what you do for the cows! You are compassionate in how you treat cows never change!! ❤️❤️
What an interesting trim. It looked so much better afterwards! 🐄💕
I wince for the poor cows while watching these videos, but I always come back for each new one.
Yes! I was yelling at my phone “Discomfort! Discomfort!” It’s a long way to Oregon from there but somehow you heard me!
I got so much joy when you found that you could use the word, "Discomfort"...that made the video complete for me!
Im always taken back at how enthusiastic you are when explaining the anatomy & the procedure down to their diagnoses, also the atmosphere at work is soo beautiful .. you all are so witty & nice to eachother.. there is a special place for you all for sure! The work is always immaculate !!!
This method they are using here is lightyears from the traditional way of trimming I just watched a guy in the orient trim a cow with an axe just holding the foot. Makes you apriciate the confort and care given to our "modern" cows
What a fantastic video Graeme what a learning moment
Sitting at the gate waiting for my flight to Scotland! And your video pops up! Perfect!
I like how you always stick up for the farmers and emphasize that these cows are not neglected but that these things happen from time to time. Hopefully there aren’t too many accusatory people in the comments
You can tell he did a great job of helping to fix that hoof. I love watching these videos
Oh wow it looked more like a overgrown donkey hoofs , she was walking way better after thank you graham 😊❤❤
Sometimes I ask myself why I keep watching this channel but I just do and I know there are many reasons:
• The pure empathy part of it, seeing you helping all your 'ladies' or 'girls' with their problems
• The professionalism you expose
• Your dedication to do the _best of what you can do_ based on knowledge and experience
• Your humor
• Your intelligence
I guess humorous people are intelligent 🤔 don't know if intelligent people necessarily are humorous though🤔
Btw. I just trimmed my own nails "✂️💅🏻"
It’s because he’s so handsome, init? 😜
Suggestion: clean the cavity out completely and fill with a keratin powder. Wrap the foot and hopefully the hoof will start to fill in naturally and more quickly with the powder inserted. Also suggest you add a water tank to your mobile unit that has a pump on it so you can effectively more clean out the hooves. Fill up at each farm you go to. 8:30 Good luck! I love Endinburgh! ❤️
Best Regards
Robert
Thank you for caring about theses cows. I know they would thank you if they could..
Love the videos! please, keep them coming😊
A mobility aid for a disabled cow :) Glad to see her going around
The farmer might think twice on breeding that cow ~ could have something genetic going on there (?) This is the hardest hoof you have worked on. Good job as always. Some of the vet shows on (Canadian/ USA) television that show problems with cow hooves we say "Where is the Hoof GP, he is needed on this vet show." ;-) 🙂
You have up breed a dairy cow to get milk, not breeding her=sending her to slaughter when she dries up. It was probably an injury however , not genetic
Amazing how you reconfigured her hoof to make it more comfortable & give it a chance to regrow closer to normal! Wonderful!!!❤🎉😊
That girls foot looked amazing by the time u were done with her... u were even able to continue trimming after u put her foot down.. you really do have the gift.
Another great job 💖
Hopefully people will realsie one day that just because a animal has a issue eg this cows hoof it doesnt mean that the owner is neglectful if he was he wouldnt have you out trimming the cows hooves and he certainly wouldnt let you video it, like humans animals have accidents and sometimes they result in life long "deformaties".
Keep up the great vids 💖
“Discomfort” is far less of a mouthful than “uncortableness.” 😁👍 But way to go Craigy Boy!
Serious question: have you considered adding a “water Buffalo,” a U.S. Army term to your trailer. One MUCH smaller than the 100’s of gallon size “Buffs” in the Army. But even though smaller than a Buff, one that would let you, with appropriate modifications, allow you to use pressurized water to thoroughly wash off damaged cow feet to a small pressurized water source to clean out a very deep cavity filled w/“muck”
Maybe something like several hundred gals of water to sites where you know there is nothing but a bucket of water to wash off muck, to maybe a small, 0 gal or less where you knew doing follow/up would require a thorough wash out. Just a thought.👍😁
Graham, Mr Hoof GP, my mom loves to watch your videos, as do I. She always says how handsome you are and how the cows wear high heels ( blocks) ❤️😁❤️
Glad you could help make her more comfortable!
Again I praise you for an amazing job well done! I enjoy your videos so much! Helping relieve the discomfort of cows and bulls is an awesome job! Thanks for a thankless job!
It's all about quality of life you can give to the animal in your care.
It’s cows like this that make you start learning and appreciating the “circle of life” really. Think of this cow out in the wilderness, out in the wild herd on the plains. This cow would be one of the first to go down to one of the carnivore predators. Both, ensuring the strength of the hunter and the strength of the herd through the course of natural selection. It’s awe inspiring really.
Your channel just gets better and better. Love it!!
WOW SO TWISTED THIS WILL BE A JOB FOR SURE 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Frankly I’m amazed at how much you were able to trim off that medial claw. As always, thanks for sharing and showing us how you manage untreatable cases.
Awesome video no music just the natural sound of the barn & trim. Wish the new videos were still like this 😔
Excellent work 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦
Thanks helping her
I have such an appreciation for what you do. You are very good at explaining what you are doing and how you are making the cows better or more comfortable. Keep up the great work!!!
❤well done Guys I love ❤️ how you do everything you can for each and every cow 🐄! Your banter with Craigie Boy 😂 and finally coming up with discomfort was spectacular Love this !!!!
I suppose that cases like this is when the crush that tilts the cows on their sides would be useful, because it would allow you a different angle to work from.
Goodness! That one was incredible!
I love all your videos, just wish they were longer.
Thanks greame and craigy boy for your wonderful care of this little lady 💕💕🙏💕🥰✌️from bc. 🇨🇦🥰
Thanks Graeme.❤️🇦🇺🏴
I love watching you guys work. I have nothing to do with cows, other than eating them.😊I just love your compassion for the animals. Also, the music, scenery, and listening to you all talk is very relaxing. Sometime I can spot the problem as well. Dallas, Georgia USA
I don't remember how i found your channel but i have not missed one since i got hooked on the first one i saw. I am 83 and a woman. I grew up on a farm and back then there was nothing like what you do. In the winter the cows stayed in their stanchion most of the winter as winters in northern Wis were so much worse than they are now. When sunny the cows got to spend most of the day outdoors but we never had hoof problems back then. Only time they were not standing on concrete was when they were laying down so i wonder why no hoof problems back then. Barns were always comfy from the heat from the cows. Good memories.
I am impressed! what an improvement !
You sir are nothing short of a hoof genius. Love the videos
I am constantly amazed by your skills
You're funny and your videos always make me laugh. Who knew I'd like this kind of stuff! 😊
