right on, Chris. Love the cornflower blue by the way! Is yours an S-type? because I feel like it sounds different. It’s such a good balance of being quiet enough for daily driving yet actually loud when you get on it and the deeper tone it gives is perfect.
@@nmk7.5 Yes, mine is the s-type and I completely agree with u it’s definitely the best exhaust if u have the stock downpipe. And thank u I love the color too.
@@nmk7.5 I’ve installed an exhaust in my driveway in the past but it’s just so much easier with a lift. I don’t really trust a shop to take the time to perfectly alight the tips
@@weshasten I feel you. The install was super easy with a lift and I’m lucky to know someone with one. To be fair, it makes just about everything easier haha. West coast muffler in concord is supposed to be really good from what I hear. There’s another one too in north concord that I can’t remember but it’s near the drive in
@@shmigmane9899 np! and awesome, the mbrp sounds really good from what I’ve seen. sounds similar to borla for sure and maybe just a touch quieter which might actually come off as a little more refined. hope you enjoy it!
I have this same exhaust on my 19’ VW GTI MK 7.5 the S-type with the stock down pipe and aftermarket AEM dry flow intake is a match made in heaven.
sounds awesome. cai system is next on my list for sure 👀 thanks for commenting!
I got borla last summer and i’m not disappointed

I hope you keep making more videos. Thanks, SUBSCRIBED!
appreciate it so much!
I got my MK7.5 from the same dealership. Where is your friends shop? Can I setup an appointment to have this same exhaust installed?
Cool! Good to meet someone from the community that’s local. It’s just a family members’ home shop. He has a lift so we were able to install it there.

Does your car have an OPF/GPF?
no, I live in America
is this with or without the resonator?
non res. if you have an aftermarket downpipe, the resonator is a good option but with stock dp, non res is the way to go!
@@nmk7.5 thanks for the response! it sounds awesome. i ended up going mbrp and i’m hoping it sounds this good
