- I recently bought three bikes on Facebook Marketplace to flip: a 2020 or 2021 Specialized Sirrus X 2.0, a 1986 Schwinn Prelude and an early 2000s LeMond Buenos Aires. In this three part series I fix up the Specialized Sirrus X and prepare it to resell on Facebook.

Nice video. I have a Sirrus X 3.0 that I am tinkering with. Completely different set of issues. Good fun!
Haha yeah well tinkering is always fun :)
I recently purchased a 2013 specialized sirrus elite disc. It is as new as it has been in storage. I like the 2×9speed drivetrain. Yours is an interesting video. I live opposite the Maidstone Evans store that you bought your 2012 Pinnacle from. Interesting to see your videos of my local area. Here it is icy and snowy which is unusual for this time of year.
I should have said 2021 pinnacle
Yeah I have talked to a lot of people now and 9 speed seems to be very popular... and that is a really nice bike. Cool glad you liked my videos of Maidstone! That feels like a lifetime away for me now.
Good job, glad you made a good profit
Is it posible to replace the 8 speed derailluar, cassettte, shifter and chain to af 10 speed? I think my Sirrus X 2.0 have a to big gap between the gears and I would like to have a gearing for road riding.
Is this a fun bike to ride and good for long ride ?
Yeah I think it is, it's kind of a fitness bike so it's a fastish bike with a more upright riding position.
Did someone think they could just swap in a 10 speed cassette to upgrade the gear range?
It was very strange, I thought that maybe the bike wasn't shifting right and they jumped straight to replacing the cassette rather than adjusting the derailleur / derailleur hanger. Definitely weird!
@@spinningtrue Hello, I wanted to ask if it is possible to put Shimano Deore there, how do you look at it, have you tried it? I also have this bike.
@@user-rn3cs4zx5y Hi I had a quick look and from Microshift's website it doesn't look like you can just install a Deore derailleur with the same shifters, so in order to do it you would have to get a Deore 9 speed shifter too... so basically I think that a 9 speed Deore shifter + any Deore derailleur should work.
Do you have any Sirrus X 2.0 Availabke for sale?
No sorry, you can check facebook marketplace maybe
