Nice video; and for the money this isn't a bad bike (certainly for commuting & everyday use it's great). If I were assembling one myself though (but maybe not if I were doing it for a living all the time), I'd be using an 'assembly grease' or at least some form of grease, not only on the pedals as your video shows, but also everywhere else on the bike’s threaded components, such as on the brake bosses, and on all the bolts for securing the headset etc. Ok, maybe I'm just anal - but a couple of years ago I tried to remove a worn Square Taper Bottom Bracket from a (2020) Specialized Sirrus 2.0 Hybrid Bike, using the correct tools, but it was impossible to remove as it had completely seized. I'd hazard to guess, that at the bike's assembly stage, the BB had not been greased at all - so shame on Specialized!
what you say is correct. but not everywhere.. there are instructions from all the companies for the assembly of each bike. we follow her instructions but not always!😊 and not everyone,😎
Yeh, tell me about it … the ‘bike build’ is usually only as good (or bad) as its builder. I suppose professionals do things for a living (and often as quickly as possible); enthusiasts can take a bit more time to do the job more thoroughly, and properly.
