I've always heard the name because I use the same racket brand. Only recently I check out his matches and how he climbed to third place ATP at a time when Nadal, Federer and Djokovic were swarming the waters. Stan Wawrinka is such a monument in tennis and highly underrated as a player and individual. He handled this kind of situation extremely well. It's true how some players got the pictures wrong. This is just a game of tennis after all. Don't take things too personally. It's the same way he handled the situation in the 2014 AO final with the umpire unwilling to admit his lack of proficiency with the rules. He merely stated things as facts, hardly any emotions at all.
To understand how I got to Stan, I was looking at how Djokovic swept away Tsitsipas, Nadal and Federer in the AO and was wondering whether there were players who gave a tough time to Djokovic in AO. That's how I came to this man. I've admired Lendl, Borg and McEnroe, Federer, Kuerten et al but this guy's a magician with the racket. His only failing was he allowed himself to sink into the depths at times in matches. If only he knew his true talent, he would have dominated the tennis scene alongside Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. He's probably unaware of the only weakness in his game which you're welcome to analyse yourself.

I love Stan. But he gets dramatic at times and this is why Kyrgios got disrespectful with him. What Kyrgios said was massively disrespectful and I don’t condone it. But it was an over reaction based on Stan being dramatic and mouthy.

He said "why are you looking at me? Stop it", then Stan started to answer back, saying that he was actually not looking at him, but Tsonga insisted "Yes, you were looking at me and you know it", "No, I was not, you should calm down, this is only a tennis match!"
