I remember watching Nadal play a match when he was 14 or 15. He was bludgeoning every single ball. He was obviously very raw still and I think he lost the match but I remember thinking I had never seen such aggressive hitting of the ball.

Nadal’s forehand takeback was much cleaner and simpler here than it is now. No wonder he finishes over the same shoulder almost exclusively now, where he can literally just muscle more topspin to keep it in
It was a nice match, Moya played nice in first set, second set was a good test to prove Nadal tests any top players mental fitness too. Indeed this was the match which made me like/love/follow Nadal. He still remains the only one I admire, awesome talent 👏😍
