Johns success is a testament to the benefits of cross training with other sports to develop a unique skillset that leads to greatness and serves as an enormous slap in the face to the hyper specialization parents force kids into as young athletes...yes in the short term the kid will be better in their respective domain but long term they are going to sit bench to those with exposure to other sports growing up
