Yes but did you know the chopper from the garage in Double Dragon II: The Revenge was the same chopper from Cobra Command, Kishimoto’s spiritual sequel to Road Blaster?
Beat em ups are one of my favourite genre of games, and thanks for indie devs for bringing back the genre back. All thanks to DD, the game that started the genre to begin with.
What these beat'em ups do is remind us what arcade games and gameplay mean. Everything is a RPG or movie these days and it's overdone and worn down. If the game developers are reading this, MAKE MORE ARCADE STYLED GAMES WITH GAMEPLAY! 💪

Never realized that this is where Streets of Rage got it's storyline from, even though I played both games in my childhood. Just never remembered the ending of DD
Here in Australia I remember the first time I saw the arcade Double Dragon game it blew my mind and later to get it on my Sega Master System was so amazing at that time to be able to play it with my friend was so cool as a kid back then some great memories
My dad and I used to go to the bowling alley and play this, rolling thunder, and black tiger. Double Dragon was the first arcade game we beat. I was 5, so I think I was more of a hindrance than help but he'd just keep putting quarters in until we beat it. It didn't matter how many times I fell into the water.
When I finally got this game for Christmas my dad didn't realize he bought the Sega Master System version. That was a painful 2 day wait to finally get to experience the game for the console I had. The NES version's OST is a top 10 for me. I still love working out to it. It's like the video game version of the Rocky IV soundtrack!
While i personally think Kunio Kun is a far superior series to Double Dragon, there’s no debating that DD is bloody awesome and one of the best beat em ups ever made
There is actually quite a big ad for Kunio Kun in Double Dragon. It's like an Easter egg, it's hidden at the end of the balcony in the first stage. You can google Double Dragon arcade map and see it in full, in the game you can only see the bottom half.

The only thing that compared to my excitement as a child when Double Dragon came to NES was the disappointment of playing it. 😂 At least i finally got the Genesis version!
New double dragon collection out on Nov 9th with ports of super double dragon and double dragon advance! If you know you know, these are the pinnacle of the series 🤙🏽
Technos Japan messed up that opportunity so many times. Starting by porting DD 1, 2, and 3 on 8-bit consoles, the worst one being the Atari 2600. They were also too busy remaking the original, some good and others bad.
In the arcade version it's Hammer and Spike and Marian is Hammer's girlfriend and the gang is known as The Black Shadow Warriors 🐉🐉 Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh 👍 Thank you very much
This game hit like an atomic bomb when it dropped in the arcades. I remember people (and myself) would mob up to play the game co-op on repeat, just would not stop until they beat the game, then the next pair would start. I wouldn't see people mob a cabinet like that until Street Fighter II. We were all a bit non-plussed by the NES release of Double Dragon. We were hoping to 2 Player co-op and only had that on the vs. mode. We wondered how'd it play on the NES because it had 2 buttons while the arcade had 3. We weren't impressed or cared for the A+B = Jump/kick mechanic at the time. We just didn't get as to why it wasn't like the arcade. No on around me at the time had a Master System so I didn't get to try that version until the early 90s.
I have a lot of nostalgia for the original on the NES. Yes, it doesn't have a traditional two-player mode, but I didn't care and I loved it. Double Dragon II: The Revenge might be the superior game, but I'd chose the original over it any time.
Please do videos on the 2 dungeons & dragons arcade games, the bouncer, urban reign, mortal kombat shaolin monks, scott pilgrim vs the world game, dragon's crown, & mighty morphin power rangers mega battle

If you are referring to yesterday, someone pointed out an error in the script, so I changed it and reuploaded.
