Haha considering I am really wanting to buy one of these, I loved every minute of this.
I've got a 2010 Raptor SVT with the 5.5 ft bed, and was able to find a tent that goes into the bed of the truck, along with an inflatable mattress that is form fitting to the bed as well, even goes over the wheel wells to give you more room.
The tent has all the same features as a regular tent, including the skylight windows that zip ooen and closed, and a rain porch at the exit, plus a zipper passthrough for access through your sliding rear window. It doesn't interfere with your pull out step either.
Easy to assemble and take down too.
I'd much rather have the roof top tent, but for a inexpensive startup system, it works really well and at least you're up off the ground.
The bed even comes with a 12V air pump that has a feature where you can inflate and deflate quickly, and a carry bag for storage.
Wow the raptors seem to amaze me every time. There such beast of a truck’s
I knew from the intro video you had a Big Bend trip.😁 It's a Baja however it did some crawling.
When you were deciding to make the V6 raptor purchase, what do you think about the long term reliability of the twin turbo eco boost V6 over the V8? I would think V8 has less moving parts and less prone to have issues in the long run. Curious to see your though process. Thanks
Main reason why I got my gen 2 in white, so it hides the pin stripping and scratches from off road adventures lol.
big brain moment right there haha. I just love blues hence my 392 and bronco is basically the same shade haha
Thanks for watching!
Amazing video. This deserves a million+ views. Keep it up
I really appreciate that!
Thanks for watching!
The more you off-road it, the less you'll care about the racing stripes gained from bush-whack. Cool vid.
Trust me, both my jeeps and bronco have plenty! 😂
Thanks for watching dude!
That truck is sick!!! My 2014 Ram has buttons on the dash to turn off those pesky parking sensors. They’re actually off all the time, couldn’t stand the beeping. Doesn’t Ford allow you to turn them off?
Yeah there’s a button to turn them off I just forgot haha
Thanks for watching man!
Looks fun!
It definitely was! Thanks for watching!
That is so badass bro
Hell yeah dude
At the start I was like wow man when I get my gen 3 ima go there then scratch ah no way man pavement queen 👸
The flying bug was a Tarantula Hawk…..lucky you didn’t get stung. One of the more painful stings out there! Lol
Yeah I figured it was something that would have a decent sting but I’m glad I didn’t get too close to it haha
Thanks for watching!
@@drivenmad2089 Tarantula hawk is no joke. Was grilling a steak and it landed on the grill near me. Steak was sacrificed to the gods lol.
Where is this trail at? I want to take my truck as well
So how bad were the scratches? Planning on taking mine to black gap at the end of April. Are we talking "that'll buff out" scratches? Or permanent lol. I'm fine with "that'll buff out" lol
Haha you’ll be good! All the scratches were light and definitely buffed right out! Enjoy your trip dude!
Thanks for watching!
man, that was cool!!! But how was your paint? I'm going with my gen3 raptor next month and wondering if any deep scratches left on your truck? Thanks!!
Thanks for watching man! And nothing deep. All stuff that’ll buff right out!
@@drivenmad2089 That is helpful! Thanks!!
those scratches would kill me lol
Haha it’ll buff out no biggie😂
Thanks for watching!
