That first jump was epic! That truck rules! Great content and video and review!
Made me laugh seeing how much more air you got compared to other videos of the same jump.
A little fast on your first job. But you definitely won the distance award. Your 2nd jump was shorter, but smooth like a Baja or trophy truck racer. Nice job Stangmode. You seemed a little concerned before making your jumps, but nailed them both Lord Stangmode. I had to take a second look at both jumps. Your first one was like a jump at a monster truck event. Long with a lot of air. The second one was Smooth with a perfect landing. By the way. Nice job on the drag racing track. If you jumped a TRX like your first jump. It would have planted it's nose and likely deployed the airbags. The more you show the Raptor R. The more I'm realizing it's a beast.

Brother the Raptor R has a beefy suspension compared to the trx, don’t be a fanboy, the R is better hands down.
@Luis Alonso why is it beefy. Like speak facts besides being a fan boy. I'll give you one the trx has more unsprung weight. Only reason it lands more neutral. Both trucks are pretty much equal with v8s
@@98ws6m6cvert compare the chassis setup, suspension and the self adjusting Fox shocks used on the Raptor R vs the TRX. The only thing that made the TRX unique was it's engine. Now there's a better overall truck available from Ford. The Raptor R.
@@98ws6m6cvert i have seen TRX's with blown out windows, deployed airbags and bend frames from going to fast over a jump planting the nose causing the chassis to arch. Some totaled. Some waiting for adjusters to approve claims that often fall under abuse. It seems some owners think these trucks are invincible. They're not.

Honestly I think it's really cool that Ford wants everyone to see their new products and promote them heavily nothing is hidden for long I really trust the brand a lot more than Chevy or an FCA product that's why I went with the Raptor. I really like how they test their products with the consumer and journalist as well.

I'm really wanting to get one of the trophy trucks, but I'm not sure which one is right for my needs. I think the TRX has the best looking interior, but I'm not sure how it's towing capacity is compared to the Raptor R. And it's not a Ford. With the Raptors, I'm not sure which one I could get the most use out of. I love them both, but I'm wondering if the EcoBoost could handle jumps better than the R simply because it weighs less than the Predator. Anyone have any advice?
To be honest, the reason Ford didn't want to make a Raptor R is because the Ecoboost is a superior engine offroading. It's lighter, more nimble, and won't practically rip the truck apart from going too fast for it's suspension setup. But if you want more fun, the R is the way to go. If you don't mind spending the extra $$.

I think the bigger issue would be reliability out of the ecoboost anywhere close to 700 hp

Congradulations on the paid off TRX. However, you shouldn't assume anything other than what I stated. That's what I'm interested in..... the offroad performance of the RaptorR. Especially through whoops and rollers. You want a 0-60? You'll get it soon enough. Only one I know about is Stangmode's 3.9 run. Nothing official. I too am waiting for what I want to know.

The TRX may be faster than RaptorR from 0-60... I've no clue on that until its official at least. It's got those 37's so it will be interesting to see the Raptor's 0-60 time.
